Huawei Mate 7 indicator always on - Ascend Mate 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Green light just keeps on, no matter on and off. Sometimes the LED is sharp, other times weak, but always green. When the problem started it was red and flickering.
Anyone who has got any ideas?

The phone got a little moisture and after that, the volume button didnt work properly and the power button also, so I couldnt actually turn it off. So I took a hair dryer and pointed it at the buttons for 20 sec and then it worked.. I shut off the phone and red light still on. Then I put it in rice and now 2 hour later the indicator has turned green ??? And it is still always on. I tried powering off again but it is still on.

xda orbit problem?

Hi everyone i purchesed the o2 xda orbit 2 days ago and all has been well untill about 15 mins ago. I was brousing the net using IE with wirless connection to my router. Put the phone on the table and went away for 10 mins came back and it wouldnt connect back to the internet so i swithed off the phone by holding down the off buttom until it asks to switth on and selected ok, then i pressed the on button to turn back on, the blue screen came up with the bubble and the red numers and stuff, then just when black but the yellow light that blinks to tell you its got signal was still blinking. I tried removing the battery then restarted but still the same. Now i have noticed it will start up with the charger pluged in but as soon as i unplug screen goes black I plug it back in again and it comes back! the battery is currently 60% charged.

!S.O.S! Raphael died on me all the sudden! WTF!?*SOLVED*

Today I noticed, while having my phone in a pocket, that it vibrates. Thought it was an sms or something but after I pulled it out, the screen was black. And kept on restarting itself in like 10 second intervals. Then the screen got stuck black with backlight on. Now I cannot power it on. It does it by itself randomly. No way to enter bootloader. After pressing hard buttons I randomly get a vibration feedback. Tried 2 different batteries. If I plug the charger in, no light comes up. After maybe 20 minutes on charger it gets warm (not where the battery is but above where the radio is).
Anyone ever seen this before? Any ideas would be more than greatly appreciated!!!!

Try this,
Turn off phone, push volume down and plug in the usb cable to your computer, don't turn it on, if the hardware is ok, tricolor should appear.

Thanx for the tip. My phone, however, resurrected by itself in the middle of night after it did hard reset by itself. So I used raphdiag and reloaded new rom. Hope to never see this again!

[Q] Help Needed : Can't turn on?

My Transformer was working fine, battery fell below 9% so I put it to sleep and plugged it in...
Now the device will not turn on, back of unit is getting warm?
Well, the warmth will be the battery charging. No issue there.
See one of the half dozen threads about not turning back on.
It came back to life, after holding the power button still seemed dead, then i plugged in a HDMI cable and it turned on.
My power button is finicky... every thing else seems perfect...

Mine does this. You have to power off completely. To do that, you must hold the power button for more than 10 seconds to turn it off. Wait a bit, then power it back on by holding the power for 5 seconds.
I've searched around and people say it's the lock screen that causes the screen to blank. But I don't think that was it, I disabled it and it still does it.
Next someone says it has something to do with WiFi, I don't think this is right also because it has happened at times when I had the wifi OFF.

[Q] could not find specific thread after battery drain, black scree

Hi. I have searched for a good hour or so. I found stuff on black screen after a pleathera of other things but not after your battery died. I was texting from my phone and the battery died. Since then, it will not turn back on. Well, it turns on because it is vibrating and when I try to do the power button, volume button thingy...the green light goes on and it vibrates, but still nothing on the screen. when I have it plugged into the charger, I can see a light in the background but as soon as I unplug it, the light goes off...can you help or direct me to the correct thread. I really did try looking for the solution but all that I see are things that have happend while trying to update or etc. thank you

I did read somewhere a while back that somebody else had this issue. They just took it to att and told them their battery died and their phone won't turn on. They will give you a new battery to try. A new battery fixed it for the guy in the article I read.

[Q] Completely unresponsive Xoom

I've got a 4G Xoom, that I bought new about 13 months ago. It's been great to me so far. I had it rooted and was running CM 9 on it and had been doing so for about a month without any issues.
Yesterday, it was plugged into the charger and I happen to glance at it and it was doing some strange things with the screen, flashing on/off, black lines on part of the screen. I powered it off and left it alone for an hour or so.
Since then, it's been completely unresponsive. I've tried Vol Up+Power button countless times without it working. The charge light (white) came on briefly while plugged in, but then went off, never to return. The only reaction I can get is that after holding Vol up+Power causes an orange light next to the front camera to blink twice. That's it.
Any suggestions? Is it completly dead?

Given that it's sealed, how is this done? I hadn't even considered cracking the case.

You may not need to remove the battery as several people have reported success with just slipping some paper between the contacts for 30+ seconds. You will need to open it up though and here's a post with info and pictures to guide you through that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1578365
On edit: here's another thread with good info for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528706&page=3
Good luck.
Well, I did the paper under the battery terminals for 15 minutes and still no joy.
One item of note is that when I plug the charger in, I'm not getting a white (or green) light. At least not much of the time. Occasionally, I can wiggle the plug a bit and it will light up, but I'm not getting to green at all.
I can put a multimeter on the battery leads, does anyone know how many volts/amps I should be reading?
Are we sure that its not just a crap connection with the charging plug. It is a wimpy little pin and my Xoom needs me to do a rain dance to get it to charge. I have to plug it in, wait a few seconds and then the white light comes on , but only if the wire is flipped back over the top of the screen. Another thought is I use Tiamat ics and there is an option to have the light on or off during charge and I think it is set to off as default, maybe you didn't set that up. I would bet its something stupid and you just need to keep playing with the wire and see if you can get it on. Good luck.
Sent from my Xoom using XDA
