I know the phone is fairly new and all but is there anyone out there with a stock ROM for the lg tribute 2? I rooted with kinguser and was attempting to flash twrp recovery on it and i bricked it up unfortunately. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not OP but also bricked my Tribute 2 trying to root. Model number is LS665

How did you root it?
If you rooted it with the LG One click tool than there's a way to unbrick it very easily
No I used Kingroot sadly...probably was a bad idea

How? I bricked my phone trying to root it with the lg one click
i also soft bricked my lg tribute ls665 while rooting with kingo root
its on boot looping with lg logo with authentication fail error 9
needed a stock rom to fix the issue
Good news guys. There appears to be a solution. This helped me unbrick mine: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-how-to-root-lgls770-5-1-1-t3184649 (Note that it's for another phone entirely, but it DOES work with the Tribute 2 (LS665))
I've tried it a few times and it didn't work..I'll try again though

If we can get the TOT file or a KDZ it will be easy to fix but until then looks like we are stuck, unless someone has a working phone they can pull it from if so let me know and i'll help them get the files off the phone we need.

Will only work if the devices was bricked the first time with the One click for kitkat and 5.0.1
If it was bricked with kingroot then you're in deep trouble...

I don't know it just happened. battery was low the phone shuted down i charged it and paff dead.

Baseband doesn't matter if you are flashing the whole kdz file because it flashes the baseband too

Baseband doesn't matter if you are flashing the whole kdz file because it flashes the baseband too

It does matter to the user. Flash an old baseband kdz and then you still have to deal with patches or upgrading baseband. So, that's why I asked.

But be really careful with KDZ updater, as this can brick your phone if you'll remove your battery in emergency mode.

Please help one day I installed chainfire3d on my galaxy tab2 p3100 running 4.1.1. But on reboot, it stucks on samsung logo.
There after, I flashed 4.1.1 using odin but, it does not able to play qny big games such as Asphalt7, NFS HP, NFS most wanted etc.
Please help........
Using root explorer goto data , search for chainsfire 3d and its component and dekete them with no mercy..
Or in settings clear its data and then uninstall/delete..

I faced the same prob once. but trust me bro, you should flash the sbf again. its the full solution of this.

Hey bro.. I saw this but it didn't say anything about the build version.... I have the MF3 the latest and greatest. Meaning... from what I read, there is nothing out there at this present time. I don't want to try the MDL is it might just mess it up some more. So until it is confirmed that a certain flash will work for MF3... then I'll just wait. I gonna have to go caveman (no phone) for a couple of weeks/months... but its all good. Maybe it will humble me to not rely on portable technology... LOL!

I searched too for its unbricking method. but didn't find any. waiting for a correct method is a good decision.

We are still searching for that answer.
Nobody knows or have any idea how to do it.
MMF is funding the research.
NASA stated that they are on the verge of discovering the method but LG on the other hand said that they are not helping because they want their programmers to work on a spaceship that will fly to Mars!
The scientists from CERN know how to do it in theory but they are not programmers...

hello friends, I just got my cherry mobile fuze 3 weeks ago. After installing fonts and reboot it, I got stuck on boot logo. Ive tried to boot on recovery and flash some rom, Ive got this message "Installation Aborted". Please help me to fix my problem sir :crying:

First of all, your phone need to be rooted in order to overwrite something on system.

yes sir I can enter on my stock recovery mode.. Ive downloaded a compatible rom for my phone and placed it on sdcard but still, installation aborted.. Just want to ask if stock recovery is different from 'the recovery something application', maybe thats the reason why it was aborted.

Factory reset will not solve this problem.. I suggest you to flash stock rom or any custom rom with pc..... Because with recovery sometimes flashing rom aborts...
