Hi, for some reason my Photo Q on CM12.1 cannot seem to be able to install facebook. I have tried whipping catch, d catch, system (and reinstalling), but facebook will only download from Play Store but will not install. It gives me " Unknown error code during application install: "-504"
Can someone help me please? I am quite annoyed by this

Thought this is troubleshooting and android development / original android development. Might be issue on code conflicts (?)
Anyways, problem solved after wiping system twice

I'm been searching the forum to see if this has been discuss before. If yes feel free to delete it moderators.
The community of XDA developers is big have any of you think of working together and build a "Developer Phone"
I'm sure there must be people in this forum with all the required knowledge to achieve it:
- hardware developers
- Mechanical
- MFG experience
- Software Developers ( of course )
Etc.
There are currently phones in the market that are "Developer Friendly" but there is always a draw back. What you think would you purchase a phone like this?

Thanks for your willingness to contribute, however, there are already a couple threads out there for this, so closing the most recently created ones.
Hi guys,
I recently installed the developer preview of Android L on my Nexus 5, from official google site .
Material design is reflecting in most places like Notifications/Contacts/Keyboard/Settings App.
But I still get the old Gmail/Email/YouTube/Play music apps.
Screenshots attached.
Is this going to be a part of updates rolling out? Coz right now all these apps are shown as up-to-date. I believed these revamped apps were going to be a part of the build itself.

Hi, recently I've started having problems accessing xda forum using the xda app. When I open up the app, I get an access denied msg - see attached picture. I've tried rebooting, clearing data and re installing the app from Google Play but no difference. I do find that if I open the app after I restore data from a TB backup I can access the forums, but once I close the app and open it again, I get the access denied msg. I've attached alogcat. Any suggestions please?

I posted the info about my rom and my smartphone.
No matter what mail version I use, it keeps lagging and crashing.
On another smartphone, yahoo Mail doesn't seem to crash or lag.
My device also has an issue with the wifi (it disconnects itself and the hotspot is not the problem).
I reinstalled the rom through Motorola assistant application.
What do you suggest to do?
so why are you posting THIS to THIS forum. that should be on another forum, bud.

Ok.
But where exactly should I post this?
There's a Q&A section. Anyway, have You tried using Gmail Go (it's on apkmirror). After installing the ROM through Lenovo software have You performed a factory reset in recovery? This may help.
