Flash Player just updated.
Another step closer to Froyo.
And the build unit for this player "happens to be"...
10.1.72.7
I'm willing to speculate that 72.7 is a reference build towards FRF72-77.
=)
I still see the 72.4 version on my nexus. No version change yet.

No idea for you. But I just updated mine to 72.7 a little while ago.
Any noticeable changes?
UPDATE: Just got the update too. Trying it out now.
Yup, I'm downloading it now too.
Okay, the first thing I did was to check if the new flash can play some flash games (restaurant city) and it can!!!
The controls are not that good since the n1 has its issues with multitouch. i wonder if it will work with hulu...let me check...
Confirmed that hulu is still not working.

Just went on kongregate. Seems to be much smoother than the initial release for sure. And also faster, might be placebo though on the faster. But definitely smoother.
Anyone tried hulu?
PS EDIT: Oops. Guess hulu still not working. Bet they don't like us. Lol.
I didn't like the jerky scrolling and pinch to zoom i got from the previous releases. This one is making these things a lot better. Definitely getting closer to a final release. The video playback is better but i sill can't hit the buttons for full screen and volume, even when i'm zoomed in a lot.
A step in the right direction, but these steps seem to be too small. We still don't know if the new beta uses hardware acceleration or not.
UPDATE: I also noticed that the flash element only loads when you are watching that part of the website which is a good thing because it helps the general navigation. Maybe this is why i feel like i can scroll better.
UPDATE 2: Switching from portrait to landscape while watching a flash video is seamless now. This is what i'm talking about! +1 for Adobe!
anyone got a direct link for us droid 2.2 users?

Sorry, not too sure how to get that for you.
Anyone has the release notes ?
It'd be great if someone could upload it from their phone.
also looks like BBC iPlayer is now optimized for mobile flash
can you upload the apk from your phone?

Right after you download it, open Astro or something and go to /sdcard/download and there may be a file called 'downloadfile' or something like that. That is the file to upload if anyone wants to upload it

In this video, you can see the new android market, kinda like the Windows Phone 7 one. It's faster and better than the previous one.
You can download the APK from here - http://www.mediafire.com/?vdocx41t37rnn6y#1
Then, install it as a normal app, and you're done !
OPTIONAL - Press the THANKS button
Nice but a bit laggy

Seems OK here.
Not quite a quick as the older version but not "laggy" as posted above.

It is not faster, its bulky, blocky and all over the place. Scrolling is mega lame. I hate it because it totally sucketh! An easy uninstall takes you back to exactly the way you had it which is nice. No reboot needed even.

Afraid I have to agree, it's fugly and slow. I hope I can refuse the update for as long as possible.
Well that sucks! But as for the new layout I quite like it.
It blows monkey chunks. Anyone who likes the new market doesn't ask for much.

The new market is nice, but well, it's slightly slower. Hopefully we'll get an official update soon. Till then, i'll put up with the lag.
I'm currently on CM7 ROM (ported by superkid). I installed the new market update and I experience frequent FC's. I uninstalled the market update and now it works perfectly. Anyone here experiencing the same problem?

I think it looks much better than the last version but it has very slow scrolling and takes too much time loading.
Yep it looks nice but to slow for my liking.
Great, thank you
Same, really slow on my side too.
Uninstall and go back to earlier version. Pray that the update is discretionary and not forced. I doubt it will be any faster and it surely won't get any prettier

HTC SENSE 7 LAUNCHER FOR S6/S6 EDGE
Ok guys, so far this is just a base for a project, currently my device doesn't have root, therefore I'm doing what i can without. Therefore here is the sense 7 launcher working that can be installed on your Galaxy S6/Edge. Install both APK'S
Once/IF we get root i can definitely get things working better. However, in the meantime, when placing widgets you can jut tap them, and move them later.

Isn't this what has already been achieved by the user in this thread

And rather successfully I might add.

I could be mistaken, but the one you link to seems to just be Blinkfeed related, where this is the Sense 7 launcher. Seems like you'd already have to have the Sense launcher to use the Blinkfeed plugins from that other thread.

It is the launcher and all. Like you said you can't have the plug ins without the launcher. The OP of that thread covers it all. He is even going to get the themes to work too. He had spent a lot of time getting it to work for any device.
I can't get any of the news feeds to show up in blonkfeed. I can choose which ones, but when I go back to the home, nothing shows up.
I'm rooted on stock with twrp, wanted to install some tweaks for the reboot menu and status bar and I know we need xposed for it.
Can anyone guide me as to how to install it? I've read tutorials but wanted to ask the people here. I'm new to this phone.
Much thanks

good info, im just not sure why people use xposed as opposed to a custom ROM with the features that theyre looking for baked into the ROM
Because sometimes, there are many things "cooked", and if I need 1 or 2 mods, then I don't need to deal with all the bugs that came with custom ROMs.

thats pretty fair, but i dont really get many (if any) bugs with custom ROMsif installed correctly. Im not bashing xposed, i just think that custom ROMs are the way to go for my taste
plus, in my experience, using xposed on a stock rom is better, you don't have to deal with any bugs

It can screw things up fast and often! Haha. I use XPosed purely for boot manager and greenify. Those are safe on any rom. Unfortunately there are so many modules you can use on your phone that aren't meant for it. If you're not happy to screw things up to learn what works than it can be a huge headache. Lol. I gave up screwing with many of the modules. Oh. I also use it for no ads and background play for YouTube.

As I've seen... I'm using the s5 for a second phone while my first is a note 5 which is the best phone I've used, after I had to give away my note 7.
And also that the camera on the s5 is not bad either... I just don't like it when it asks me to hold the device steady while it's taking a photo...

no, im on resurrection remix nowadays and very much miss the TW camera. I ran MOAR for over a year and wanted to try out the AOSP ROMs that everyone was ranting about, and i rather enjoy several things about RR, but the camera is rather lackluster on AOSP. TW ROMs have access to the stock Samsung camera, which is awesome!! I really havent found much that just WOWs me about AOSP vs MOAR other than the fact that MOAR isnt being updated anymore (yes, you jsut witnessed someone remind themselves about why they decided on something that they had totally forgotten LoL) I spent a little time finding out if one could port the stock TW cam to AOSP, but apparently its not possible

Are you actually able to get that camera app to save the slowmo videos? I can't seem to get it to actually save. It seems to be taking the video then when pressing stop it crashes and there's no video there. It does work with a 5.3 version of Google camera.
I've tried playing with some setting in the new 6.1 camera to get it to save with no luck, what setting are you using to have the slowmo videos to save?

As of February 25th, Lineage 16 Pie.
Basic, with just enough customisations.
What is the consensus between Slim and LineageOS?
Looking at moving to one of these, growing bored of stock Sense.

Personally using RR. It's los but with more added in.
Slim is just that, a slimmed down version. If you don't need a whole lot and just add apps, go for that. If you like to change buttons and stuff, go los, if you want fonts and extras go RR. They each add a little onto the next.
There is obviously a lot more involved, but you get my point
LineageOS (my ROM so i'm biased):
- The only ROM driving forward development at the moment
- Has extra customisations, but definitely not as much as RR
- Is what other ROMs are usually based on
Resurrection Remix:
- device tree probably almost identical to LineageOS. Kernel is practically the same too.
- On the ROM level, it has extra layers of customisability over LineageOS
Slim:
- Very cut down as the name suggests, less "Google" and more AOSP-like right now
Just installed LineageOS and still in the middle of setting everything up, but my review do far is "wow".
I feel like I'm using a Pixel.
