Fixed the link

Link works, and the .zip flashed just fine for me. (VS985 running Mahdi 4.4.4)
Now for the feedback:
The pro here is the feature set. It looks like it could rival Nova and maybe even Lightning in terms of features within a few updates. I particularly like how you can easily change how the app drawer is organized. Very cool.
The main con is the appearance. It brought me back to Froyo. When I first unlocked the screen, I nearly switched back to Nova just from looking at it. Nothing's done in Material Design, or even in Holo. The Windows logo is asinine and out of place on an Android device. (Probably not legal either. I'd remove that ASAP)
Point is, it's a really ugly launcher that could be a great competitor to the old standbys if it were cleaned up to look nice. I really hope you do so.

I'll wait for this

Where are the screenshots or actual information besides "it's a launcher that needs root". Why does it need to be installed as a /system app? Why will it replace Trebuchet? What if the user doesn't have Trebuchet, will it still work?

It requires it because the launcher has a issue with installing as normal and yes if you dont have it itll still work

What do you mean "has an issue with installing as normal"? There is no reason a user should have to replace a /system app to use a third party launcher.
You still haven't put up screenshots either. This whole thing sound extremely fishy.

[ROM][4.3.1][I9001]Nexus 5 Experience

Hy guys, I'm proud to launch a new ROM from BunnyTEAM Developers.
We had a difficult period and that's why we didn't launch or update our existing ROMs.
Since there is no android 4.4 for our device, i decided to port and to make a 4.3.1 android rom with android 4.4 apps and add-ons.
This is the first version so it is not bug free. Every bug you find please tell me
NEW Don't use this rom as a daily rom. We have found some bugs and we will correct them shortly so don't try this unless you are a tester/advanced person who want to help us discover more bugs
Known bugs:
- google keyboard force close
- google search not working = not working android 4.4 launcher
- hangouts give force close
Changelog v1.0.0:
added Hangouts
added nexus 5 launcher
added quickoffice
added android 4.4 camera and gallery
added android 4.4 e-mail app
added nexus bootanimation
edited build.prop to show android version 4.4
other android 4.4 stuff which i forgot
Screenshots will be added shortly

Well yeah you are right atm there no kitkat for our device but as you know kitkat is new and over 80% dont have it as officially or custom rom, so be a bit patient i am sure the ADC-Team will work on it if they have time...
But apart from this, its nice to see a new rom for our device... good job :highfive:
You should also include the credits, because i don't think you ported android 4.3.1
Welcome back! Happy to see a new rom from you. I will test it later tonight. Thanks

After applying the package system boots much longer, when it's finally on, when it is needed to enter the PIN code, wifi turns on (it was off before flashing) and the phone resets itself.

Well thats not work thats crap (sorry but isnt it?)
Yes, it is, and besides to create a site of a dedicated rom first you need to develop a real rom not to put only stuff in the rom. Don't to be rude but only because the android 4.4 stuff like camera and other stuff are ported must to be included in a rom. You need to have a plan and to include something new developed from You or from the team

k , first of all i am not responsable for the website. In the logo section on the website it says by olix. Sorry for that, i will tell him to change the website. Second why you judge me for WinROM. I don't want to be rude but...... You rom is based on android 4.1.2 , mine on android 4.0. In your rom you added launcher8 and that's all(no ofence). I will make a list of what i added in my rom: windows bootanimation, wp7 contacts, dialer, messaging, launcher7 and launcher 8 and windows phone MULTITASKING. And I even didn't use you launcher , i use the launcher8 made by Timo Kujala. If you make a rom, why you don't let someone else to improve it?
I say sorry again for the website but you are not allowed to jugde someone else's work unless you have something better. And i didn't copy you base rom even, i use stock cm9.
yes and i forgot to say something ..... YOUR WEBSITE IS BASED ON A FREE THEME ON THE WEB so you don't have any rights for you website look.

[ROM][Flo][8/12] - Stock Rooted 'Android L Developer Preview 2'

As the title states this is Android L Developer Preview 2 in a flashable Zip!
Read this post in its entirety before you download and flash!
Everything seems to work well with one MAJOR caveat... You MUST format DATA AFTER you install the ROM!
Im not talking about a factory reset, I am talking about a FULL data format!
Failure to FORMAT Data will cause the inability to write to your internal storage which will cause the O/S to not work correctly!!!
Make a back up of everything you need off of Internal storage, this includes TWRP back ups, movies, pics, etc...
Remember, you have been warned! YOU MUST FORMAT DATA which will erase everything on your tablets internal storage!!!

It's smooth as butter. I do enjoy the extra little animations Google threw into Android L. I don't think it's any different than the first build as far as performance, though.

I don't know what they did on the second build but all my pesky wake locks are gone. Awesome job Scott! Thank you.
I'm really enjoying this preview of Android L, really awesome of what's to come. So smooth, clean, loving the animations, and the keyboard is dope. Thank you for this Scott.
I think the animations make it look more polished. I dont know about speed. Antutu scores decent.
I just like having a new look as well.
What I don't like.... Too much info n the lock screen... IM sure that's changeable though... Also don't like the pull down status bar style any more. I liked the old style better or maybe they could make the shade the entire width of the screen.
Overall its really a more polished version than what I was expecting
Those are my thoughts...
You guys forgot about battery life, with L i'm getting about 2+ hours more screen on time compared to 4.4.4. :good:
Seems like they worked on ART and did a really good job.
Speed is great! I like the new animations. I am sorry tot say some apps are not working. F.e. gobackup (i made from out of 4.4.4 a backup which i cannot put back)
When i open gobackup, it asks for root permission, i say yes and the system hangs and reboots itself.
Also buienalarm (Dutch app for wheater) is nog working.
Is there a way to get the battery show the %?
Boottime is a little long. Speed in browsing is absolutely great! Thx for this ROM!

[APP][android 6 and 7] Material Notifications - Color for your screens [ROOT][NEXUS]

How would you like to be first to try out this new theming app? How would you like to see a little color instead of stock white notifications?
I am looking for Nexus device owners to test Material Notifications. I have a Nexus 7 (2013) and I find that it runs perfectly on it, but before sharing it with the wider community, I would like to make sure it runs well on other Nexuses.
If your device is not a Nexus, or if you are using a custom rom, this probably won't work. If it does work, I would be glad to know.
Edit: Tested, works on official CM.
Whatever device you own, make sure you have a nandroid backup before using this app. If you get stuck in a bootloop or if your systemUI force closes, you can easily sort the problem by going into TWRP, mounting your system, opening the file explorer and deleting color.apk from system/vendor/overlay. Or you can use your nandroid.
Please note that I am not responsible if you brick your phone. Only test this app if you know what you are doing.
Thank you in advance for testing. I hope you will think it was worth your while! I'm looking forward to your feedback. Cheers!

Would app like this be legal on PlayStore? Google wants everybody to stick with white flat notifications
@StrangerWeather
A thought just came across my mind. Do you think it would be somehow possible to have different colours for each app? Maybe based on the action bar of these apps or maybe completely choosable for the user?

[APK][LOS14.1]Jelly Browser[DISCONTINUED]

Hi!
After LineageOS has been merged with Android-7.1.2_R8, new builds feature several changes, including an all-new browser called Jelly. It mainly targets low-end Android devices and replaces the older AOSP browser. I came to know about it out after compiling the new source for building a ROM. Hope it'll be helpful for the devices that are no longer officially supported due to the lack of maintainers.
Features:
^Chrome - like tabs in recents menu.
^More secure than AOSP based.
^Based on the system webview.
^New homepage - DuckDuckGo. - CHANGED
^New UI.
Updates:
+Fixed age-old orientation(screen rotation) bug
+Supports Marshmallow again
+Default homepage and search engine now changed to Google
+Smoother scrolling
+Faster than before
+Title in the address bar
+Fixed translations for some languages
+Still on version 1.0
+More updates coming along...
Requirements:
A phone with Marshmallow or any higher version of Android.
Instructions:
IF YOU'RE INSTALLING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME, simply install as you use to do.
IF ALREADY INSTALLED, uninstall and reinstall the latest build.

Yeah, Gello is a different browser. Although is it also designed for Qualcomm based devices for optimised performance, but it is not supposed to be in the new builds of LineageOS.
Though it wholly upon the maintainer of your device. If your maintainer decides to ship Gello, this will replace the new default browser Jelly.
no pinch to zoom?
Is this browser support flash player or already include flash player? I am very difficult to find a browser that supports flash player since android up to MM +
It's about time that a XDA member started compiling this for us. Thanks!
EDIT: Mind updating it to the latest build that fixed the orientation change?

Hi!
Yes, this browser has built-in support for flash. You may enjoy videos without installing any flash plugin.

Hi!
Thank you for the complement! Orientation is already fixed in this app. AFAIK, there's no problem regarding orientation on in the app my device. Even if it's there in the app on your device, please report back. I'll try to fix it. ☺

[BACKPORT][6.0.1+] Pixel Launcher ODR-4023749 from Android 8.0 DP3

Pixel Launcher ODR-4023749 Backport for Android 6.0.1+

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I'm boring and I keep posting the same thing over and over after each Developer Preview from Android O 8.0 releases... But I needed to do this backport for my SHIELD Tablet anyways, so I really don't mind sharing it here. Find this irrelevant and repetitive, feel free to close the thread.
So... Yet another time, the title says it all.
This is a quick (I spent 3 hours on it) backport of the Pixel Launcher ODR-4023749, extracted from the Android O (8.0) Developer Preview 3. I extracted the APK from the sailfish (Google Pixel) and tested it on my SHIELD Tablet, and as it wasn't working I modded it so that it'd work just fine on any Android 6.0.1+ devices.
I have implemented the Google's signature verification patch, as according to this thread so that the application doesn't Force Close on launch, as well as all the goodies from the Pixel Launcher O-3952143 v2 backport.
I've tested the application in my SHIELD Tablet running official LineageOS 13.0 nightlies, as well as in my Wileyfox Swift 2 with Android 7.1.1, and seems to be working like a charm with latest Google Play Services installed.
However, like last time I'd like to roll call all of you to please, test it and report back with any issue you find.

NOTE:
- DO NOT MIRROR MY FILES, please.
- The background color of the App Drawer won't look blue in Samsung devices, like last time, as I fixed it to look white.
- The apk, like last time, has been signed with my own key, so uninstall any previous versions before installing this one
- Bloggers! YouTubers! If you post links to this backport PLEASE, be sure NOT to make mirrors of it, and, it'd be awesome if you mentioned the original author in your blog posts.
- ¡Bloggeros! ¡YouTubers! Si posteais enlaces de éste backport, POR FAVOR, NO lo resubais, y, estaría genial si mencionárais quién es el autor del mismo.
- Do you want to get Android O emojis too? Check this out.
- No, still no reflection.engine crashes

Special thanks to P4Block for having to hear me screaming when the code doesn't work, and Jose (in case you read this), now you know why I was freaking out early today :silly:
Um so what if I'm using v2... Do I still need to uninstall?
No need... I just tried installing it and it failed... I'll try other methods

It wouldn't work anyways, so at least the settings page isn't bloated.

Works.

Isn't working the option to long press an icon to show up shortcuts? For example Google Maps > Go Home, etc... It does depend on the launcher? I've Android 7.0 / LG G5 SE

One more thing, is it possible to change the number of icons displayed in a row? I've a 5.3'' and the other launchers give me much more space on the home screen. This one have only space for 4 icons in a row

Only Google knows
Actually, I've seen quite few new things specifically for Android O in the code (making calls to the method isAtLeastO), but nothing as big as the ones in DP2.

You need Android 7.1+ for the DeepShortcuts functionality, it's limited by the APIs.

It's possible to hardcode it but you can also try to modify your screen density (either from the Settings since you're on Android N), or using any other app to change the DPIs system-wide but that'd require root.
Thanks dev
Is it possible to enable quick shortcuts on Android 6 like nova launcher for example? Thanks

No, since they used their own, proprietary implementation. Maybe once Google releases the source code of Android 8.0 someone tries to work on that, but for now I don't see the point in it.
(What I mean is that, if it was as easy as flicking a switch, I'd have already done that, but it's more complex, and requires some Android 7.1 APIs, so that's why)
@linuxct tnx for flashble zip
Tnx for your hard work

I am on Android beta, running 8.0.0(Nexus 6P) , but I cannot load the applicable Pixel launcher.
I get an error each time.
I was running an older version, but removed it, and still the new one will not load.
Any help would be appreciated.

This mod is intended for users running on older versions of Android, and some functionalities may not work properly in Android 8.0 because of the backport itself... in your case, you can get the official app from APKmirror.
