If u r rooted test this app !

Hello,
Thanks a lot for your help, I know this app but unfortunately, I don't have the device for the moment because the 16go version is still in preorder only in France. In addition, i might cancel my order if there isn't any led.
Consequently, if anyone can test the app i'd be extremly grateful !!!

It works! I have root and installed the app and when I charge the phone the led in the top bar goes on!

That's GREAT ! Son know you have active display and notification led ? Is it a monochrome led or multicolor ?

I believe it is just white. I don't know how I can turn on the led for notifications (email, wa, etc) Can you tell how I can do & test that?

Not sure.... Maybe using this ?http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/4-3-led-control-motorola-devices-t3036823

"This will 'enable' the hidden LED on your Moto X/Nexus 6. This app cannot set it to be used for notifications; it can only use it as a charging indicator."

Could someone with root try the root setting of this Led Notifications app please?

That's bad news... Can you use a terminal emulator and send command echo heartbeat >/sys/class/leds/charging/trigger (with su rights) when charging, and without charging ? And then report what happens (idea found in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49059316&postcount=45 )
Thx

Theres no way an app can use it for notifications?

Some Charging LED app
It seems motorola has removed that LED Widget for the MG1.
Lightflow works? Why does it require root access?

No, Lightflow doesn't work. In fact, looking at the Moto X, they were not able to do anything much with the notification LED. So I don't think we will. It lights up while charging. That's it! I don't see any point in it personally... MotoX Led is the best app for it I guess.

Custom ROM with fully ROOTED rights

Hi everyone,
I came from Galaxy 3 and used SGS also and they both are good phones but not water proof So I change it to Defy but I miss some features which I got in SG3.
So I am mentioning some things which, if possible can be modded than the Defy Super Rocks.
First I badly need to have a clean build .sbf so that we can easily direct flash it through RSD
ROM with fully ROOTED rights. (because its very annoying to root using SuperOneClick)
Icons in notification are like I did in my Samsung Galaxy 3 or Galaxy S, as its really very handy to On/OFF the GPS, Blutooth and other.
1% battery icon. (not in my SG3 but want it in Defy)
Clean ROM only with these STOCK applications please
[STOCK] contacts, message, Music Player, Time, Gallery, Camera Camcoder, alarm & timer, Dialer, google search, Manage Sim Card, Market, Youtube, Phone portal.
[Add on] Super User, Defy Recovery, Root explorer, Skyfire Browser, Barcode scanner, SetCPU

With Zeam Launcher because its free and fast too.
Its really very useful if any of you people make this ROM.
NOTFICATION ICON

Are the switchers in the pull down menu a feature of Zeam or some app we could use with other launchers?
They are Samsung framework related stuff. CM7 does it too.
Chances are Samsung releases a water resistant phone before this is ported to Defy.
Ha ha haaaa
Widgetsoid should be able to do what you want with the switches in the notification area.
And, for the battery, you can use the following:
Circle Battery Widget
DefyBatt
MotoCharge

I love this feature on Samsung phones. Sure Widgetsoid does the trick pretty well, but this is even more comfortable and frees up some more space in your homescreens. I haven't found anything that is capable of it so far though.

Yes, you're right that it takes you to a pop up which does all switching. But hey, I'm just glad that it allows us to take things off the home screen.

I have this issue as well - Even though I've turned off Peek and Pocket Mode, my proximity sensor still turns on when screen is off.
Also, I definitely remember not having this issue before I'd turned Peek and Pocket Mode both on. I mean, proximity sensor was working fine when both the options were off i.e., it would turn off even after screen off; then I turned both of them on and so it started staying on after screen off, and now a few days later when I turned both options off, sensor still turns on after screen off.
Any clues to solve this?
Otherwise great ROM, gonna probably use it as daily driver

Update
Hello Guys
We look forward to the new update 4.6 AOSP Parandroid
Really enjoying this ROM but I have encountered two small, but not unnoticeable issues-
1) After switching from notifications to quick toggles or vice versa, the switch button is pushed off the edge of the screen as shown below-

2) Quite often, video playback is warped in black and white, again shown below-
Any suggestions on how to fix these would be much appreciated!

Well is this the ROM this Q&A thread is for? If so then the dev posted a comment 5 days ago and he's definitely still working on it.

Flashlight/Torch

anyone know if LG has ever released, or will release a torch/flashlight app? I love this phone and it pwns my S3 so bad, but I wouldn't mind a way to see in the dark. And if not, what is the best third party app?

Confirmed this method is working with Sabermod CM12 for OnePlus One! So I am guessing it should also work with other CM 12 builds.

I would request this as well
in settings. db - secure - lock_screen_allow_private_notifications , turn to 0 . You will get a notification on lock screen , but for example in WhatsApp , there is no name of the sender and no sent text .
