I changed my sim card for two days before I reuse the old one. However, it doesn't work. The H icon in my notification bar keeps randomly disappearing. So it always disconnected before I starts anything. I restarted, reinsert my sim card, and it does nothing. Wifi is working fine. Please help. Thank you.

Hey guys, today I installed a new game and started it and came to the screen where you download game files and got "No Wi-Fi Connection"
Then I pressed the home button but my phone froze so after waiting some minutes I took out the battery and booted it.
Since then its in the Airplane Mode and nothing will turn it off..
I wiped dalvik, data, even flashed a new ROM but NOTHING.
Then I took the SIM from a different phone and the airplane mode was turned off and everything worked.
So what you guys think the problem is ?
I mean a game cant mess up my SIM Card right ?
It's possible that the game messed up a setting on the phone that lead to a SIM card defect.
Tried the SIM card in another phone?
a) If it's working, try reinserting into your phone and booting again. Sometimes it's just the swapping fixing your SIM again (registering to a new phone with the carrier)
b) If it's not working, I'd exchange the SIM.
a2) In case a) didn't fix it: factory reset, battery pull for 30mins, in case those two fail as well --> b).
Nothing worked :/
I guess I got to change it
So out of nowhere today, i awaken my phone and I see an error "SIM card removed, reboot phone" I reboot the phone and now I have no signal and a SIM card symbol in the notification bar. I didnt remove the SIM so I dont know what happened or how to fix it. Anyone know how to fix this?
EDIT*** Nevermind. I removed the sim, then put it back and that solved the problem. Probably should have tried that before posting lol
happened to me a week ago. I was puzzled. I removed the sim and battery at the same time like 10 times. So I flashed back to stock and took it in. The guy plugs the phone in (probably checking for root) and then unplugs pulls the sim and battery and turns it back on. All working like nothing happened.
Hello all!
I am in possesion of a Galaxy S5,that has a very special problem.
It got to me restarting periodicly (15sec to 3 minutes) an a forbidden sign instead of signal icons.I tried houndreds of firmwares, most of them failed at writing in odin. When I type *#06# in order to get the imei it shows null/null,and also it has no baseband(signs of missing efs partition). Here it comes interesting: after some charging cycles,it suddently works, shows the signal icon and missing sim message..if i restart in order to put a sim in,the problem gets back.It worked for a day in a particulary case with a sim card in,but he restarted when i put in the mobile data settings, and then it get back to the null imei/unknown baseband.
Please give me some answers or solutions...Im desperate
Best regards to all of you

Hello
i changed phone operator two days ago, i put the new sim into my phone but it do not recognize the sim card. i went into network settings but some options like "access point name" is disabled ( i guess because it do not read the sim..). even if I try to connect to wifi..it does not work..it wont evene scan for network.
It was working just fine before i changed the sim...i also tried a factory reset....but nothing...i put different sims but it just wont recognize ( the new sim works fine on any other phone...)
Any suggestions??
is it something can be fixed via software?
Thanks
Hi everyone,
I jout bought my Google Pixel few days ago. Things went fine but yesterday, when i take off my SIM card from my phone, my Home Wifi (connected before) suddenly disappeared. Other networks around are still fine, just connected one gone. When i re-insert my SIM card, they appear again.
Im using android stock 7.1.1; no root. Please tell me it is a security feature or a problem, bcz i haven't met this issue on my previous devices. If it is a problem, please suggest me a solution.
Thank you
