Samsung G900-F Big problem! Please help - General Questions and Answers

Hello all!
I am in possesion of a Galaxy S5,that has a very special problem.
It got to me restarting periodicly (15sec to 3 minutes) an a forbidden sign instead of signal icons.I tried houndreds of firmwares, most of them failed at writing in odin. When I type *#06# in order to get the imei it shows null/null,and also it has no baseband(signs of missing efs partition). Here it comes interesting: after some charging cycles,it suddently works, shows the signal icon and missing sim message..if i restart in order to put a sim in,the problem gets back.It worked for a day in a particulary case with a sim card in,but he restarted when i put in the mobile data settings, and then it get back to the null imei/unknown baseband.
Please give me some answers or solutions...Im desperate
Best regards to all of you

Lost my number

I have an Huawei Ascend from MetroPCS that I have rooted and updated to android 2.2. All went well for about a week until I accidentally deleted Talk, I started getting the force close for a lot of my apps and my wifi was cutting out. Today I noticed that I had zero bars and looked under phone status only to find that "My phone number" is now "Unknown". Does anyone know how to set that or do I have to go back to factory and call Metro? Also the link for the recovery package (MetroPCSStock Recovery Package with Scripts) redirects to another sight, do I have to sign up for that sight to get the recovery file? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
One other thing when I boot up my phone it has a message that reads "no UIM card Emergency calls only". Is this like a SIM card in which case Metro phone don't have those so I am probably screwed.
hey man I am having the same exact problem NO UIM card emergency calls only Please insert a UIM card I even flashed to a backup image I made liek 15 days prior to having this problem tonight and still didn't make any differnace bro I dont know wtf to do now...

No Network After Phone Reboots

My phone is a Motorola XT1032 and when I reboot it instead of going through the routine of SIM lock PIN then phone lock PIN, it just goes straight to the phone lock with no network connection.
This firstly occurred at work yesterday when distractedly I ended up in "Safe mode", which doesn't work for me in any case as there's a bug or whatever somewhere which is by the by. So after rebooting a warning triangle and exclamation mark was showing in the status bar where it said...."Your selected network (3) is not available", 3 being my network in the UK. I then did the obvious: removed the SIM, gave it a wipe, remounted it and hey...network back!
I was a little concerned that perhaps the pins in the SIM card housing may be faulty so to check I rebooted my phone later on with exactly the same result and the same solution by remounting the SIM. Totally bizarre, so anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Malc

No service [SM-920I]

I can't get a signal on my phone. It keeps showing the "emergency calls only" message. When I try to call someone, it shows an error message: "network not registered".
Weird thing is, it was working flawlessly a few hours ago. I didn't mod it, nothing is different. I just charged it and rebooted.
I tried toggling airplane mode on/off, factory reseting, and it didn't fix my problem. My IMEI shows up correctly on settings, and the phone is being used in the same region I bought it.
OBS: If I put the sim card on another phone, it works. When i put it back on the s6, it keeps working until i reboot it, and after that it doesnt register on the carrier network anymore.
Anyone can help me with this?
No one?
I've exhausted all my known options! I can't keep a phone that can't even be turned off. If the phone freezes, that means I'll not have a signal until i can find another phone to put my sim on, and then back again on mine...
I'd really appreciate some help, since support where I live is crappy and chances are that i'll have to take the loss on the defective phone if I can't fix it.
Went to the carrier, tried other sims, even other carriers sims. Still nothing.
You can't get warranty from who you bought it from or else samsung? it sounds like a defect somewhere, if you are lucky it could just be the simcard tray but else it is something inside the phone

please help me
Where are the experts.
I'm blocked
Maybe the IMEI gone. That's the hard part.
Sent from my SM-N920C
Check your imei, too see if it is still original,if it is 36000.....1 you in trouble
There is two ways to fix this but there is only one way working good
1 send it to Samsung (this way works good)
2 repair it with octopus box (this will get phone to work but you will loose signal during taking on phone or without .
and flashing stocks will get you in bootloops basically your phone is piece of junk)

No GSM connection on my Nexus 5 anymore...

Hi,
Just writing this if anyone has an idea.
Some weeks ago, I bought a Nexus 5 for my daughter. It was a used device, but in good shape and perfectly functional.
My daughter is a bit clumsy... After 10 days I gave it to her, she said "Dad, I have no connection anymore".
And indeed, the carrier signal sign showed "empty".
Here's what I did to troubleshoot the problem (at least to try to troubleshoot it as it is still there) :
- 1°) swapped SIM cards : put mine into her phone and hers into mine : result, her SIM card is working in my phone ; mine isn't working in her phone ;
- 2° re-installed a Google Nexus 5 "Factory image"... so system is brand spanking new here
Here are the exact symptoms :
- 1°) with no SIM card the phone shows "Missing SIM card" symbol ;
- 2°) if I insert a SIM card, the symbol changes to an "Empty signal" symbol ;
- 3°) a message says : "No connection"... but this is followed by the carrier's name...
So I suspect that the card is working and is recognized, but that the antenna (or what ever it is) is not connected anymore.
Anyone knows if there's a simple fix to this ?
My daughter said she dropped the phone a couple of times (as I said, she's a little clumsy !).
Any help would be appreciated from this great community
Regards.

Hi there,
Just replying to myself.
After doing some researches, I also tried to enter my carrier's APN manually.
That did not help unfortunately
Any other suggestions ?
Regards.
