Unable to flash custom recovery - Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500

Hello everyone. Recently I ried to reinstall a custom recovery (CWM) using Odin. The problem is that it gives me the following error : "Invalid PIT magic(0x0), use default pit.". In Odin it shows "NAND Write Start", then fails. I tried different Odin version, different recoveries with no succes. I tried to use a pit found in a thread on this sub-forum, but it gives me the same Odin error, but with a different Download mode error:"Secure check fail". I tried on different Windows versions, with no succes. All drivers are properly installed. Thank you in advance.

[Q] TF 101 problem HELP

Hi
I am having a problem maybe someone can help. I had a custom rom and everything was working fine until it went into a bootloop for some reason and now I cannot seem to be able to do anything. Here is what I can and cannot do. I have TWRP 2.6.3.9 installed but I got an error message when I try to install a rom (several different ones including stock). I can put it into apx and adb mode but cant get easyrecoveryV0.42 to work only error messages athough the device is listed. I tried odin but it doesnt seem to recognize the device. I have reinstalled the drivers and tried on other computers but no luck. Could there be a problem with the partition not mounting? At this point I am willing to try anything.

I tried all three of the recoveries there and nothing. They act as though they are installing but nothing changes. I have tried some different roms from but I get an error message and they won't install.

Try this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1995157
Just go to the "Flash" tab and select "ANDROID ONLY".
This will flash the android prime together with the recovery. After flashing, you can proceed to flash any rom using the recovery.

[HELP] galaxy ace plus soft-unbrick

i've tried this guide and some others on the net, downloading files over files, tried with odin3 v1.85 and v3.09.
putting every time the phone in download mode and flashing the .tar.md5 file when doing it without the pit file it says "use the default pit", attaching the pit it gives a "secure check fail: id 0x95" and one time it displays "partition table doesen't exist".
It would be nice if anyone could help me as soon as possible!!:good:
I think ur partition memory currepted .....
Hit thanks if i helped
i thought it too couse it can't be that it says "partition table doesen't exist", if you know how to fix it, it would be great
ok
did you downloaded the correct firmware from sammobile.com ???
What were you doing when you bricked your phone??
yes, i did, but it also didn't work i tried different versions but niether that worked.
I bricked my phone flashing through cwm the same rom (cm10.2 by vickig coolest) in order to reinstall the gapps which weren't working before.
Now i tried flashing cm10.2 by dirty developer and it says "e: can't open /sdcard/cm-10.2-20131216-DirtyDev-trebon.zip" if someone could give me a working backup (cwm 6.0.3.3) i could try to restore it.
Dude
While flashing stock firmware open odin and click on nandroid erase all
And then flash firmware
After reboot do a hard reset
Hope it works

Flashing stock FW

Hi all,
Having trouble with my G920F - had TWRP installed + root but have decided to go full stock again as it won't perform updates with modded recovery.
I tried using the Samfirm tool + Odin to download latest BTU FW but it fails every time on system.img. I have tried using 2 different versions of Odin but same result. I have tried flashing with PIT file, with PIT file plus re-partition option enabled but still the same fail. I have tried using smart switch but it downloads the file and then fails during initialisation - phone in download mode then reports SW mismatch.
Anyone have any ideas on what is wrong?
Ok, ignore me - I just tried a USB3 port instead of USB2 and it worked first time :|

Trying to Root but can't flash SpaceXkernel vid Odin. Error <ID:0/005>

Device: SM-920F
Build vers : 6.0.1
Status: stock kernel, no root
Issue: Can't flash SpacexKernel. Get error "<ID:0/005> Can't open the serial(COM) port."
http://imgur.com/a/QhkpH
I've done a search on XDA for this issue and I've found some with similar issues but no resolution. Example Here but this user was able to flash Space kernel.
So I'm trying to root my phone and than install TWRP recovery with the intention of flashing a custom rom. It is my understanding the 920F bootloader is unlocked by default so that should not be the issue. I'm following GalaxyS6Root guide. I downloaded the necessary files: SpaceXkernel, Odinv v3 3.10.6, TWRP 3.0 by Manh Ti. With my phone in download mode Odin recognizes my device cause the blue port (blue) lights up so I'm sure I have the right usb drivers. 'm stuck on the first step, trying to flash SpaceXkernel. I check AP, select the kernel, and hit start. Than I see error <ID:0/005> Can't open the serial(COM) port..
I've tried this several times but get the same error. I've read it can be a issue with a cable but I am using a OEM samsung cable. I've tried plugging it in several usb ports but same issue. Any ideas what i'm doing wrong or need to do?
Edit:
Plugged into a different usb port. Tried flashing Space kernel again and now I get error "<ID:0/006> Complete(Write) operation failed."

When I try to flash space kernel I get "can't open (COM) serial port" and when I try to flash CF-auto I get "Nand Write start - > FAIL!".
I've used this PC and usb cable with other phones and it worked fine with Odin.
I am running Windows 10 this time though. I turned off Windows defender to. Not sure if that creates issues with connectivity.

When you say stock do you mean flash the official firmware? Since I've had the phone I've only updated with official firmware from Samsung.
thanks.

Bricked my T-Mobile Galaxy S7! [Fixed]

I've successfully rooted some of my previous androids, and currently have a rooted LG tablet, today I was trying to root my Galaxy S7 and I bricked it and can't unbrick it. I was following this guide devs-lab. com/root-samsung-galaxy-s7-s7-edge.html. Everything looked like it worked Odin said pass but my phone got stuck in a boot loop. I tried to root it with a tar.md5 from a different site but it fails. When I put it into recovery mode it shows the droid with a red caution sign and says "No command". From there I can get into the recovery menu and I've tried wiping the cache and that didn't work, I then tried the factory reset and that didn't work. I then downloaded the "Stock_DeOdexed_Debloated" ROM from here and tried to sideload it using adb but that fails saying "E:footer is wrong. E:Signature verification failed" I tried to install it from the SD card but get the same message. In the recovery menu it says "No Support SINGLE-SKU, Supported API:3, # MANUAL MODE #, -- Appling Multi-CSC..., Applied the CSC-code : TMB, Successfully applied multi-CSC., Successfully verify for dmverity hash tree". I'm currently downloading a stock firmware zip file I found on a different site. Is there any way I can unbrick it or is it permanently bricked? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I flashed the files that were inside the zip using Odin and fixed it, I can’t figure out how to attach files so I've included links to the stock firmware I used as well as the version of Odin I used.
Stock firmware - downloadmirror. co/Urs/G930TUVU4APK1_G930TTMB4APK1_TMB.zip?download_token=20ae1b122f8519d6cfc69c0ef013b3f4c6856d15149bdc46bc3bcfecfb91ee1f
Odin - dropbox. com/s/go43hspdcbg9rld/Odin3_v3.12.5.rar?dl=0
It sounds like you have only soft bricked. As long as you flash the same firmware you had before everything got borked, it should work. Search the threads here at xda for links to the firmware you need or download from sammobile to be safe.
Also make sure you have the latest version of Odin, and all the Samsung drivers are installed. Hope this helps and good luck.
