LG G2 (D800/AT&T) not turning on - Hard bricked ?? -"QHSUSB_BULK" - AT&T LG G2

Hello,
When connected to a PC, it is showing up as "QHSUSB_BULK". I only have official software from AT&T OTA, and phone is not rooted.
From my reading online, it means hard brick..... I cant get into recovery, download modes or anything at all now..... definitely not motherboard since the phone turned on over the weekend, when battery was almost zero and had to connect to charger to completely turn on.....
Tried downgrading to kitkat from lollipop because a continuous restarts.
Currently, neither fastboot nor ADB recognises this phone or I cant use LG flash tool to install official kitkat onto it. I have tried looking at various forums and couldnt find this exact situation of phone not turning on at all. Also phone is not showing up in disk partitions as well
Can someone tell me how to fix this phone, having this issue from almost 3 weeks now.

I got a same problem, In my case, I changed the battery then fixed the problem

ANy help guys...This G2 forum is too quite

Any help people.... Its been more than a month now

If you cannot get into DOWNLOAD or fastboot then you will have to open the device up and short out the 2 circuits. I just had the same thing happen to me when I ended up putting mismatched boot files on the system. It is time consuming and a pain but really not that hard. MAKE sure you have the right tools. I bought some off amazon before doing.

HELP!! Stuck in boot loop and phones' battery dead!

Hey guys!
I might be the dumbest person in the world. I rooted my T-mobile LG G2 recently and everything was going great but i flashed a ROM without paying much attention to the installation instructions and now im stuck in a bootloop. to top it all off, my phines' battery is now dead and the phones not charging at all! The most i see is the LG logo at bootup and then everything blacks out. any advice guys? im really screwed here
Try searching for a factory cable/adapter online. I ran into the exact same problem on my old Droid RAZR and this was the only solution. However, I am not sure if they exist for the g2. The cable will allow you to operate your phone without charge until unplugged and you can fastboot without the required charge.
Hrm... maybe download the Lg computer recovery thing. Just somehow if you are able to access into download mode connect it to your computer run the lg software and let the magic work from there.

[Q] Motorola RAZR HD XT925 Doesn't Start (Blinking Green LED)

Hello. I have problems with my device, a Motorola Razr xt925 HD. It doesn't start, it just keeps the green led blinking when connected to wall charger, and when I plug the USB, makes a sound of a new device detected but only for a few seconds then it makes a sound of an unplugged device, and so on. It doesn't respond to any combination of buttons. I let it charging overnight, even though the battery was nearly full before this happened. Don't know if this is relevant but before this happened, I was going to flash stock Retail Brazil firmware by fastboot and got a flash failure. I turned it off and then it wouldn't turn on again. I never had this happened, I had problems but I always solved them all. Not this time hopefully you guys can help me or tell me what it could be, because I doubt it was the battery. I leave you a video showing my case.
i dont know for certain but the only time i see that green light is when battery is ou and i put it to chrge. Could your phone be in apfastboot and can t charge. It is a bit of a tough situation to troubleshoot.
Did you try keys combo to put it in fastboot, and test it by flashing
or maybe use rsd lite see if it shows you device connected? maybe then you can flash stock
i am sure there are other possibilities, let s hear from you
There's no way to enter in Fastboot by key combos and RSD lite doesn't show my device :/ maybe I need a factory cable, just in case that the battery is empty. I need more suggestions please
me paso lo mismo
did you find any solution?
im having this problem after i start using KK 4.4.2 seems like the phone go to sleeping mood by it self while my screen is locked so i have to keep clicking at power and volume up and down to restart the device now im looking for an update or a fix for this problem, another problem is the device WIFI do not catch my house signal while im away 10 feet from the house the software have bugs
I've been using CM 11 (KK 4.4.4) with no issues. This is a flash problem or maybe the battery. My phone is still dead btw I see that two more people are having the same problem here... we need a solution please.

Any update with this? Did you try with a factory cable?
I'm going through the same thing , I read the other day that and the driver installed and nothing more .
keep trying to revive my device.
I'm going through the same thing. When I plug it into my pc , under device manager it shows "Human Interface Device" then it unmounts itself then remounts itself then unmounts. Over and over..... I've even replaced the battery.
I was running stock rom with just root, phone was working great. phone rebooted, screen never came back on but when i connect it to my computer it sees it in adb..........
Any advice would be great.
Thank you

This thread for the droid Ultra might interest you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-ultra/general/droid-ultra-maxx-brick-recovery-t2830806
There is some discussion of the Razr HD in this thread. It looks like someone with an unlocked device would need to dd their bootloader partition for this method to work.
A few years later .... Any solution? rsrsrs
any update on this scenario?
i have this situation too and the time could give us an answer, i am searching again, i took my device to some 'phone repair stores' and in less than 5 minutes they told me that the phone was dead, but i have my last doubts
Just to add an update here
I ended up with the Green light only and blank screen after trying to fix a battery issue, despite getting a number of batteries my phone wasn't accepting the batteries.
I remembered a battery issue a long while back, so went to reflash my phone to see if it resolved it.
I ended up with the green light and blank screen and no matter what buttons, it would just make a noise then keep rebooting.
I ended up using the Unbrick bat file.
RSD Lite was briefly showing a Medfield device of something starting with Med, but since the phone kept rebooting I couldn't reflash it again.
I did the Pwr and Vol down and as soon as I saw the device, I clicked the UnBrick bat and it managed to get my Moto logo up.
I then booted to Fastboot mode and reflashed and my phone is back,
See this link for the UnBrick, but when you do it, you have to be fast to catch it while the device is seen, otherwise the phone reboots after 4s or soo.
Softely Unbrick XT890 Razr i - Really Unbrick the Zombie
Well do not think that this thread is one among others. It's my experience when i messed up with my Razri. I wish I had this before, so I'm sharing it with you ! Every has his experience and a way to do it, so this is mine First I searched...

Nexus doesn't detect USB-connection

Dear community,
I have a serious problem with my beloved Nexus 5 (black, 32GB).
Yesterday I recognized that the Device doesnt detect any kind of USB-connection.
Neither on a charger, nor on a computer/notebook. I tried several different cables and computer/chargers, but no differences.
When the device is powered off everything works properly. The Nexus is charging and I even managed flashing Android 5.0.1 via fastboot a few minutes ago (hoped that the system was the problem, but it doesn't seem so).
Device isn't rooted or modifed (recovery, system) in the moment cause of the os-flash.
Do you have any idea what the problem could be? :crying:

Hey @BrainChecker
first of all it doesn't seem to be a Hardware defect, if it's working fine, when phone is off!
Seems like u created some kind of problem with connecting to ADB or any update etc...
I would recommend to backup all stuff u need and then going to recovery and make a factory reset.
If all is working fine u already see there was a problem in system.
If u have still problems, it seems to be deeper (but don't think so), which means kernel, bootloader etc...
Much success!
CHEERS
Thx for the fast reply
I reflashed Android 5.0.1 now, but I have still problems.
Now, the device is charging normally, but still doesnt connect to computer. And the charging symbol doesnt disappear when I plug my Nexus off...

So check ur source for firmware and there's also the 5.0.2 out.
Try to flash this with a clean system.
Much success.
CHEERS
Thanks. Source is the official Google-Site for Factory-Images, MD5 is okay.
Where did you find a 5.0.2 for the Nexus 5 ? I'm finding only one for the Nexus 7.
Problem still is the same (Sytem reflashed), and even with a custom-kernel the are still there.
I'm really scared
EDIT:
a little bit more information. I reflashed 5.0.1, made a factory reset and even reflashed 4.4.4 (of course with a full wipe). Still problems.
Deinstalled all USB-Drivers (with USBDeview), changed the used ports on my computer and my notebook.
I tried custom kernel (hellsgod) and recovery (TWRP), no changes.
Still same problem. Phone is charging when plugged in (in the some cases, but NOT in every case). Charging symbol doesn't disappears after plugging off.
Computer doesn't detect anything. Neither in system-tray, nor in the device manager. But I recognized that for a realy short moment the "plug-in-sound" sounds twice (connect and disconnect), also for a very short moment the phone shows the debugging-icon...
USB in general seems to work in the system; I can use USB-OTG as normal.
I'm a little bit under stress, because I will leave Germany in a few days for several months. And 1.) I will need a working phone 2.) I don't want to spend money on a new one (travelling is very expensive...) and 3.) I don't really have the time and the nerves to work days on these problem...
:crying::crying::crying::crying:
I'd say that you have lots of old drives on the computer. Take them all off. I pulled out my hair over this. I took dozens out from old phones and my Nexus then it loaded a driver and a message came on the phone asking to recognise the computer...
Thanks for the tip, but it didn't work for me.
I removed all former smartphones, massstorages etc with USBDeview but my problem is still the same.
I recognized that on my dad's computer even the Windows-dialog for media devices opens...but theres still only the same short appearing of the mass-storage and debugging-symbol. Klicking on the Windows-dialog ends in nothing...

[Completed] A story about my freakishly hard bricked LG G2 F320L. Help needed!!

This is my story that happened with my LG G2
I recently purchased a LG G2 F320L, a refurbished one, from aliexpress(I think this was the biggest mistake of all)
I got the phone, I started using it, used it for 20 minutes and just installed antutu benchmark and ran the app and started the benchmark.
Firstly, I'd like to mention that the phone just got warm, just like other phones, during the test. While the multicore performance test was going on, the phone turned off, all of a sudden (Battery was as low as 9% when I started antutu benchmark). I thought that, it was because the battery was too low to run a benchmark app and turned on the phone back and waited, it just showed me the LG logo for 5 seconds, powered off, ended up with a bootloop. :crying:
I thought that the OS or the bootloader got corrupted and stuck and also thought that I could easily fix it by flashing boot.img or the original .kdz using LG flashtool.
I connected the phone to the PC, it was charging from 9% (That means, low battery isn't the reason for this problem). I waited until it charged till 25% and tried turning the phone on again, but, the same bootloop happened again. I downloaded the .kdz file for my exact model and prepared to flash it using LG flash tool. Unfortunately, the phone came out of download mode (Whilst the flashing was going on) and started with the bootloop again. I really got scared cause the flashing was interrupted indefinitely. I didn't know what to do and I just googled how to enter factory reset mode and I finally entered factory reset mode and chose to reset the phone completely. But, it has happened for a while and continued with the same kind of beat-up (But I was able to enter the factory reset mode later on, though) I was pretty much scared at this time and I gave the phone to one of my friends. I showed him the factory reset mode that was still working, but not useful, and I tried resetting 3 to 4 times but couldn't come out of the bootloop. But, suddenly I couldn't enter factory reset mode and the bootloop became pretty much faster that before (Just showed me the LG logo for 3 seconds and rebooted with the same bootloop). Now, no factory reset mode, download mode, and no charging either.
I got to know that it was a really serious hard brick that has ever happened to one's phone!
I handed over the phone to another one of my friends and he dismantled the phone and tried something, then connected to the computer and the computer detected the phone and QHUSB mode was saying 'Searching Windows update' with a loading symbol. He just stopped it there and told me to take it to a good service center (An expert, of course), and he also told me that I was supposed to ask him, to make the QHUSB mode work.
But, after he gave me the phone back, the bootloop was still happening, just like before, but, instead of LG logo, it was showing some bluish white lines on the 2/4 on the screen.
I haven't got time to go to a service center till date, as they might cost me more than I invested on my phone.
This is really serious problem and I need to enter the QHUSB mode and I need to flash the stock firmware cleanly. Please anyone give some time to read this thread and help me out in this situation. AGAIN, I have used the phone for like, just 20 minutes when it was in a working condition.
So, I request any experts to help me out, suggest me the solutions.
Sorry for my bad English, though.
Thanks in advance.

Bootloop and "temporary" Hardbrick

First of all, If I am copying an already existing Post I am sorry for that but I think i found nothing similiar to my "weird" situation here.
Now to my problem (with a short intro tho) :
I had my OPO for a half year, when i decided to root it. When i did this, I was a total rookie, so I just followed steps/guides I've found in the Internet. I unlocked Bootloader, installed TWRP-Menu and finally rooted my device. Everything went totally perfect for me and my device was running smooth and without any problems. But after some dirty- and some clean- updates(always only the cyanogen updates that were showen on my phone), my OPO randomly shut down. Earlier on, I made a Backup. So i wiped calvik&cache and thought i lost all my problems. But in the last weeks, new problems occured. So i started looking for them in the Internet. I found out, that i had a "bootloop"/ Softbrick on my phone. It randomly shut down and it sometimes felt like especially the standby-mode made my phone to go offline. After solving this problem aswell via a "zip" from the Internet that I installed via TWRP, my device was again stable for like two weeks. But then after a Night I faced a new Problem, my Phone was again offline. It shut down without doing anything from my side. I saw all indications for a hardbrick. So i tried to "rescue" my phone via the xda-guide. And randomly after plugging it into my pc via the usb-connection it rebooted. But this just created the newest and maybe biggest problem.
Right now: My phone shuts down after beeing in standby-mode for like 5minutes. Neihter my LED is blinking or anything else is happening. It has no Bootloop but sometimes I am again scared of having a Hardbrick.
For me as normal User, who just wanted to get more privacy on his phone, these Problems exceed my knowledge and that's why I posted my Problem here in this forum, full with people who might know how to fix this problem or even be experts in rooting mobiles.
P.S: Please excuse my bad english at some points. Try to overlook it )

Let me clear few of your terms
Bootloop : Your device spins on CyanogenMod logo
Hard brick : Your device won't even boot into recovery and when you press power button(10-15sec), it'll vibrate just once
Softbrick : Same as bootloop, but you can boot into your custom recovery like TWRP
The solution to all your problems is to flash fastboot/factory images of Cyanogen OS 12.1 (Tutorial link in general section). Make sure that you backup your internal storage.
Flash them and use it for 2 days, if you continue to face issues, quote me here or somebody else will help you on this board
Might be a hardware issue

I've had a similar issue arise in my OPO around a month back. The phone used to randomly switch off. In most cases it didn't switch on for around 10-15 minutes. I installed different roms, cleared data/dalvik .... you name it, I did everything, but the issue still persisted. I came to the realisation that it had to be a hardware issue. Took it to a service centre, where they confirmed it was an issue with the motherboard ( although initially they just flashed cm11 and handed it to me). So basically, my phone is with the service centre for the past 5 days and is awaiting the new part.
What I'm saying is, get it to the service centre as quickly as possible, if you're nearing the end of your warranty and get it analysed and fixed. Wish your OPO a speedy recovery

Thanks for the Information,
I really appreciate your Help. Just one question, is the backup that I can create via TWRP enough or should i backup everything seperatly?
And @p403nix, Thanks for your tip !!! That's a nice information, the only Problem about that is, that in my Homecountry the Oneplus Support is very terrible. I am in contact with the customer support tho, but I don't expect too much
