Hi I probably shouldn't have done this but I did so it's too late. Now I need to see if anyone has any ideas for fixing it.
I rooted my old Nobis 7" tablet using Kingo Root from the PC. The root was apparently successful since I could delete apps (all I killed was the Amazon store) but now the tablet won't remember it's setup info (like wi-fi, google account, etc.). Powering off is like a factory reset.
Any thoughts on how to possibly fix this? I've booted to recovery, done a factory reset but nothing.

So i recently tried installing Chainfire, and boom, instant soft-brick. So, when i went to factory reset, thinking that would fix my phone, i found it factory reset, but, it still is soft-bricked. Not boot-looping, but its stuck on the boot screen. It is rooted.. How do i go about fixing it? I use a mac, so windows software is of no use to me...

So a few weeks ago I bought a K7 and started messing with the build, which ironically didn't mess it up, but then I was stupid and deleted everything with the name 'network' in it in another equally important location trying to see how the phone would function completely offline. Apparently not so well, Because I messed up and now I get stuck with a boot loop. I tried wiping it completely and resetting the cache, But I screwed that up to now when I plug it in it doesn't even show up as an external drive. It shows up as a random USB connection..
From the research I've read online it looks like I need a stock image of the LG Tribute for Boost? Would there be anything else I need? I'm really lost when it comes to this type of thing.

So, My ZTE Z828 (ZTE Avid PLUS) has done something that I never could have thought would be possible. During a factory reset, (and the phone was rooted By the way), It deleted it's core permission table, Luckily I have a backup, But I can't get it moved back onto the phone.
Somehow, The phone boots, But it is stuck on the setup wizard, And after I click next after connecting to Wi-Fi, It just restarts the setup wizard process.
Any ideas on how I can restore this file?
The phone has a FTM Mode, which has USB Debugging mode working to some extent..
And I can temp root it with FTM mode.
lastly the phone is running Android 5.1.1.

Here's my issue.
I recently rooted/installed TWRP for this phone, all was working well until one day the system started running extremely slow>
Pulling down the notification bar took about five seconds; it took about the same amount of time to turn the screen on/off.
I searched everywhere for fixes and tried every one to no avail, so I figured I'd do a factory reset.
After trying the factory reset from the settings app; all the phone did was reboot.
So I went into TWRP and reset/cleared data from there.
Now when the phone starts, it brings me to a screen saying "Encryption unsuccessful" and only gives me the option to reset my phone.
When I press this button, it just reboots to the same screen>
I can't get into TWRP because before all of this happened, I disabled USB debugging so I can't use my PC to get into recovery. There's also no way to boot to recovery with just the hardware buttons; the only way to get to TWRP with this phone is either from apps on the phone itself or using ADB.
Am I S.O.L here? Am I going to need to buy a new phone?
