I want to buy a flagship phone. I bought the htc one m7 2 years back and it was the best phone at that time with almost zero cons!!! But this year the samsung galaxy s6 edge is the best phone but its battery life sucks according to the reviews i went through and the One plus 2 was a disappointment. I am left with moto x style which is good but not equipped for the future with lack of ois, fingerprint sensor, ir blaster and its too big to be called a phone!!!! So which is the best smartphone to buy this year which provides regular support and update unlike huawei, xiaomi where updates arrive very late!!!! Pls. need some advice and I am just stuck!!!!!

Hello!
I need your kind suggestion as I am looking to buy a new phone for me. According to my purchasing ability I can afford following handsets.
1. Samsung Note 3
2. LG G2
3. LG G2 Pro
4. Nexus 5
5. Iphone 5
Currently I am using Xperia Arc. I usually do not use handsets. If I buy any handset, then surely I will use for next 1 and 1.5 years. I need a device which will have better and faster data service, exchange mail service, handset apps, camera, longer battery life and good camera option.
I am confused. Please suggest me which handset I should purchase among them. You can also suggest other handset. Please also mention the reason why should I buy!

I'm using an old iPhone 4 and its getting worse and worse day by day. I'm planning to change my phone. iPhone 6S, SGS 6 Edge+, HTC One M9 and xperia z3+ are in my mind but i couldn't make a choice between these ones. I used to use Huawei U8650 before so I know the Android environment.
iOS is smooth and stable but its quite expensive to buy now. Could you help me please?

Hi xda community,
I want to get my grandma a "new" phone, running on at least android Jellybean. Price I am thinking of is between not more than 200 euros. I stumbled on some models I am thinking of buying: Samsung S4 Mini, Samsung S3 Mini, Sony XPERIA T, LG G2 mini.
Features I am looking to:
Bright, sharp display;
Good battery;
Reliable mobile signal;
not bigger than ~4.5" display size;
100-200 euros price;
And that it wouldn't crash often on low memory;
Android version not older than Jellybean, Lollipop preffered;
Anyone has an idea what model I should get, maybe has other models to recommend?

I love the moto x pure base on its spes and its a last years flagship.but now theres alot to choose from a verygood midrange or a chinese flagship

My note 4 has reached it's end of life for a multitude of reasons, mostly due to being dropped too much. I've very much enjoyed it for the last 2 years.
While I do not wish for this to be another "what's better thread" I know some of you are much better versed with the current smartphones with the best internal components for the money. So far I've come across the pixel XL, HTC 10, and the Mate 9.
Budget isn't a concern, nor is carrier as I'm sure what I'm looking for has multiple radios. I just want to know what to buy and flash so I'm not wasting time reading reviews and looking through development forums.
tl;dr I want another 5.5-6 inch screen phone with the same 4k screen and camera capabilities, as well as the best processor and ram in its class. Aftermarket ROM development is also an important factor. Pixel XL is looking the best so far.
