Hello everyone. I just received the 5.0 update, and I was so excited to update it, and when my phone started rebooting to get to the upgrade process; it opened the TWRP menu. And from there I couldn't install the update. (Yes, I did press update device, and it restarted like it went to update, but instead it just opened TWRP menu.
How can I reset my Moto G XT1032 GB to the complete stock, without boot loader, twrp and superuser? (My sister have the same MOTO G model, and her's isn't rooted, therefore the update went smooth) I have a Mac by the way.
Thanks a lot, I hope I can solve this annoying problem. I couldn't find any way to totally restore the Moto G XT1032 to the stock firmware.

You should flash back to stock using fastboot commands. Update all Motorola apps, and get the OTA update.

It's like 5 months ago I rooted my Moto G. and when I paste in a fastboot command it says: "fastboot command not found"
My Moto G is now stuck in a bootloop - I need to fix this :/
Do you have the proper dirves and mfastboot or fastboot files on your computer? Are you using Win7?
How do I use the "Apply update from ADB" option on my Moto G 1st edition (XT1033; India)? Is there a good tutorial available?
I have a MotoG that does not complete the boot process but it will go to the boot menu and also to the recovery menu. Inside the recovery menu I see the "Apply update from ADB" option. I also have a "Apply update from sdcard" option but this phone does not take any sdcard.
fastboot commands work when I connect it via USB to my Laptop. But I've had no success running adb commands so far. I successfuly unlocked the phone just now via fastboot using the unlock key I got from the Motorola site.
Hi,
I own a 2013 Moto G, using CM13 the very first nightly.
But then I tried flashing the CM12 Snapshot, now its in
a bootloop, ADB says its unauthorized, but I cant change any settings because
its in a bootloop. When I try to use adb sideload and flash the roms again
adb stucks at 47% and doesnt move on.
Any ideas?

Hi all.
I decided to root my brother's Moto G (2013). I have already unlocked the bootloader and tried flashing TWRP recovery for this model, but once I flashed it and tried accessing recovery, it just always says 'Boot up failed'. Also, there is no error in CMD while flashing, which makes it even more weird. Finally, I can boot to OS with no problem (phew!). Any solutions? I tried searching for that issue on the internet, but not much came up.
EDIT: Please close the thread, issue has been solved.
Thanks.
You can run "fastboot boot twrp.img" from the directory where is your twrp.img , and try
Try installing another recovery or verify the file (can be a corrupted file)(twrp.img)

The error massage is "preflash validation failed" and "remote failure" in adb fasboot screen. Other error massage shown in bootloader log "version downgrade primary gpt".
For your information I have writing correct cmd and correct download stock ROM. One I have already install stock ROM. But now I again re install of stock an found flashing failed with same stock rom zip file and correct fastboot cmd.
