Hi,
My Samsung Galaxy S3 is running 5.1.1 lollipop courtesy of Cyanogenmod by JustArchi but because the phone only has 1GB of RAM and I mainly use it for games can someone recommend another rom to use because the one I'm currently using keeps crashing and rebooting at least 10x a day and I need it to be stable so that I can play games fast with no problem and with least amount of lag possible thanks for your help its much appreciated.

Hi, i own a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Wi-Fi (P5110) and i have experienced heavy lag issues with this device since 4.0.3>4.1.1>4.1.2>4.2.2.
I have in-app purchases so i cannot try to reflash the firmware yet.
My question is did anybody experience heavy lag issues with this device and does reflashing and formatting the device helps?
thanks

Flashing an AOSP ROM will help tremendously. The stock ROMs are all laggy. You will not lose your in-app purchases, since they are linked to your Google account.
I would suggest flashing CyanogenMod 10.2 along with ketut's NEXT Blackhawk kernel.

Last time i have some in app purchase on my S III but i dont get it on my Note II even though im on the same google account.
is there a way to back it up?
Hi guys,
I need help!
I have a tab 2 7.0 P3110, on Android 4.2.2, and it is soooo laggy!
I have taken out all widgets, and uninstalled a lot of apps, but still it is very slow.
Will rooting it help? If so, can someone point me to the instructions to root it, and also which one would be best for me (mostly browsing, reading emails and using some of the widgets. No gaming or anything like that)?
Hoping to turn around my tablet and get a few more years out of it. At the moment, it is almost unusable with the laggy performance.
Thanks!!
Root the device is just getting the administrator permissions only.
However you can flash the new 3rd parties rom like CM11 (which you need the newest CWM recovory)
Or install some apps like greenfiy / auto memory manger from Google Play store.
These should be helpful to your tab to reduce the laggy.
You may also Google these to know more about rooting
Hope these help for you.
Thanks!
I am using greenify and memory management, but it is still not smooth. I feel it us samsung's bloat were which is mainly to blame. Which ROM would be best, as close as possible to the native android image, or perhaps better? Any links for installation would be very appreciated.
We can't tell you which ROM is best for you. Best way is try a few yourself as amny as you can and settle for one which you like the most. I would suggest you to check Samsung Tab 2 Android Development Forum. All Roms are listed there and installation instructions are included in first/second post of each ROM Thread.
I am using SlimKat Rom for last one and half years in my Tab 2. its stable version 8.0 now.

Cogbytes, have you ever tried CM rom (Whatever which version)?
I would like compare the performance between slimkat and CM.
Main difference in CM and SlimKat is features only. Performance is almost same unless you use different kernel (other than stock). I used CM for a few months too. SlimKat interface and tweaks are a bit more satisfactory than CM, but its my opinion only. Its worth to try to SlimKat stable version atleast once.
Hello.
I've got a Tab2 7" for about 2 years, allways hoped it would be updated but I guess Samsung never cared... Still in 4.1.2
In your opinion what is the best rom for a daily usage based in speed and stability?
Can someone point me in the right direction please?

All tabs are different, just as people are. Just download and install. Your opinion is the one that will matter to you. Flashing is fun! Just have fun.[emoji4]

As user above said, different peiple prefer different ROMs. But, if you are looking for a light ROM that is stable, try SlimKat. If you want Lollipop, there is SlimLP and CM12.1, but they will have some bugs that KK doesn't.
Thanks
Will take a look at that rom.
I recently flashed Liquidsmooth v4.0 2015-03-17 android version 5.0.2 on my Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F. The first few days it worked great, I loved the ROM and the performance. But recently when I've been using it, it's rebooting every other minute, sometimes I don't even have time to write in my PIN-Code. This is obviously a huge problem and renders my phone pretty much useless, so unless you guys can help me I'm gonna have to change back to a stock ROM. I don't know if what I have is enough information, but I will answer questions as good as I can.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Martín_Cañas , I don't have much info about battery performance but about important issues for the available custom ROMs you can check my issue list here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...s-android-versions-higher-than-stock.4399765/
It depends what issue is acceptable for you. If for example echo in some communication apps is not an issue for you, you have much more possibilities with LOS versions.
If you want no issues, you'd need to choose some stock based android 8 or lower.
