Hey guys!
I just flashed XtreStoLite deodexed on my Canadian Samsung Galaxy S6 running 5.0.2 firmware
I also used aroma to get some Samsung stuff back, and then clicked "Enable fingerprint scanner support" thinking that it would allow me to use my fingerprint scanner which had previously stopped working after I installed XtreStoLite. I still can't use my fingerprint scanner. It says "there is a problem with the finger print scanner. if this problem persists, please reboot the device."
I tried the odexed version too, and nothing different happened. Has anybody found a fix for this?
Flash with stock 5.1.1 ROM via odin.

Hi guys, I'm a tech at Sprint of recently and I had a customer come in several days ago with a GS5 with its fingerprint scanner getting an error message prompting the user to restart the device every time we tried to access the it from the settings. Also it doesn't work when trying to unlock through the lock screen forcing us to use the alternative password. The phone is on 4.4.4 right now. Not sure if its nk4 or not.
What we tried:
factory wipe
flashing 4.4.4 nk4
I haven't found much documentation about this issue on the internet. Any help will be appreciated.
Hi, I bought a Samsung S6 Edge used.. It was previously rooted and the knox counter was tripped...
I'm having some serious issues with it. From apps/google services to crash. It was previously rooted so I flashed the stock firmware on the phone. Even when I setup the phone (language and google accounts) some services crash... I can't recieve OTA Updates anymore because the status is set to custom and Triangle away does not work on S6's. I can't replicate anything to make a certain app crash, it's just random.. I need your help because i tried everything I could..
Stuff I did:
Flashed stock firmware (5.0.2)
Flashed an Update (5.1.1)
Factory reset and cache reset in boot loader.

Stick with XDA.... Never heard of a fingerprint senor breaking after root. Everything works perfectly. Search the forums
@TheKingOfQueens
Just google for chainfire/Cf-autoroot

i found the autorrot site from chainfire but for the sm-g930f there is in the build id only LMY47X.G920FXXU3QOKN but in my settings i have LMY47X.G920FXXU3COI9 .
can i use the LMY47X.G920FXXU3QOKN to install it On my LMY47X.G920FXXU3COI9 or will it break my phone?
Or you can install TWRP recovery with Odin and then flash Unikernel via TWRP, this kernel is like stock but with better/improved features and inbuilt root by CF.

Hi,
Quick question - may be obvious to some but.........
I have a Stock Nougat Rom installed via Odin, rooted and TWRP installed. I miss XtreStoLite DeoMod Edition 3.3.1.....will I have issues re bootloaders as i have read I can mess up if I try to downgrade?
TIA...!
What phone model do you have? I know you can go from nougat 7.0 back to 6.0.1 but that would require doing a factory reset in recovery menu as well.
For the normal S6, s6 edge, s6 edge plus variants.
S6 92OF...... I have installed ODEXLITE and there seems to be lots of similarities to XtreStoLite
