I used chainfire on my tab and my old Nexus 5 but im scared cause i dont want brink my new phone as long as my model number matches up and im using odin 10.6 i should be ok right, i dont want to end up in a boot loop

well for some reason i cant get this to work. When I first rooted my phone with superoneclick i then used rom manager to try to install a cm rom and it didnt work. So my phone is still on the stock rom but i dont know if rom manager changed anything that is effecting me from unrooting please help.SOC gets stuck on waiting for device, Im for canada and im bought the phone from wind mobile and i want to exchange my device cause im getting random reboots, hte screen of death and the worst is this damb phone wont stay connected to my blue tooth headset and i drive for a living.

no im still on 2.2.2 build number frg83g nothing has really changed like i said i rooted it try to use rom manager didnt work so i just left it and now i wanna exchange my handset and unroot it but for some reason it wont it gets hanged up on waiting for device. so more or less i never had a custom rom in it just been rooted

have you downloaded lgdriver before the initial super one clicking? the steps for rooting are labeled in detail if you Google root g2x and find the xda forum I your search results.
I unroot by nvidia flashing stock rom using the app nvflash.
please state whether you rooted following the steps on xda or if you tried rooting without nvflash

ok i am having several issues with htc inspire wondering if a root and custom rom will correct issues or if it is a hardware is in phone????
First off i am running android 2.3.3 software-2.47.502.7
the phone will freeze up lock down and reboot for no known reason usually two to three times a week, sms messages will not show saved contacts at times, every time i take pic it reboots phone. and just overall very sluggish.
just wanting to know if i can root to fix or if i should just throw phone in a lake and get new one????
I you haven't rooted and it's still stock under warranty whats stopping you from taking it back to the store and get a new one?
nothing i guess didnt known if root would correct concern, or not. i want to root phone anyways but if it wont correct it i will prob take it to att and root the new one.

BINGO ...why risk rooting a phone that may have hardware problems?
I'm a newbie and just wanted to add some detail and color along with some cool features to my phone so i rooted my phone and put this rom on my phone which is a i777 samsung galaxy s 2 at&t --> which is called an alien rom which is the second video on youtube if you search it , i did a little detail my phone is an at&t samsung galaxy s 2 i777 and once i got the rom running on my phone i received a call and i picked up only to my phone to pu the call on hold and end the call by itself so immediately i went to google found my original factory rom downloaded it and restored it (because im a ****ing idiot and didnt backup my previous rom) and set my phone back to factory setting and it still wont let me make or receive phone calls can anyone tell me if its fixable or not if so can you give me advice and directions that are easy for me to follow? please?
I would unroot and then root again. This should fix your issue.
What kernel should use for rooting and rooting can you give me a url for the odin along with the separate kernels
Kernals dont root, just search youtube for vids. Just unroot and reroot. Search your phone section for details.

it was some guy he made the kernel it was called like zedomax i think and i used odin3 1.85
Well when i went under my settings and about phone it says baseball version it read i9100 when my phone is a i777 i think that's bad my phone is trying to run another baseball version
this is my first attempt in rooting my sprint gs3 using the step by step on xda.. after doing so i realized i had knox and now my superuser is blocked and dont really know if i rooted properly.. my phone seems to be working but im not sure what to do from here. i tried hardbooting my phone to start over with some other way to root but i don't want to brick my phone can anyone help me and expain thing like a 3 yr old cause like i said i read and did and failed.
Hi all i am lokking for a why to use my rumblepad on my phone with games.
So far the only way i fond is that i need to root the phone (witch i dont really want to do bc its feals stupid)
So far i not finding a way to root the closet i get is magisk i think id trust it more bc its a systemles root
Is ther a way to root it
All i want is root access for my rumblepad
I dont want a custom rom and i dont want TWRP or eny arther recovery.
(i do remember on one of my old phone i could temporarily boot twrp so i think id be ok with a temp twrp boot)
And also i would like to try to boot the batch ram disk (or what ever needs batching) before i flash it to test that it works.
Id also like to keep my andriod v 10 so is ther a way i can "dump" or extract my existing one from my phone
I got the phone with android 9 but it got upgraded to 10 at one stage with one of the system updates
Hope my spelling is ok.
If there eny info you need let me know and il get it.
