[Completed] Help, I need a factory image Filemate Clear X4 - XDA Assist

I have a Filemate Clear X4 tablet locked in a boot loop. The issue is I have not been able to get the maker to supply a factory image to fix the thing. It is a 1.6gz RK3188 device and I can get it into recovery mode and I believe flashing it would not be an issue, but with no image, I have nothing to flash. the recovery system is stock android 4.2.2 (3e is the code it displays) and has several options to flash the device, including through adb and from a memory card. All attempt so far to break the loop have failed and likely the device has a partition issue (and likely my fault!) If anyone has this device and can get me an image, or if anyone knows of a compatible ROM, I would be very grateful!

Please read the Stickies: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783031

I tried that and the "maker", Wintec, claims they do not have a copy of the factory image and the actual manufacturer, SKTelesys (Korean) refuses to give ti to them (which I doubt!) It is out of warranty and likely I have a new door stop. But thanks for the suggestions!

[Completed] Ulefone N920e Bootloop

Recently accidently deleted my boot.img because I wanted to change the boot animation. Ended up being the biggest mistake I made. I decided to try and recover the file i deleted by flashing another boot.img, but i soon realised that the boot.img i flashed wasn't compatible with the device which caused my phone to bootloop. I know that if i want a solution to this issue, I'd have to install a new rom which is compatible with my phone but i'm having trouble looking for the update.zip for my phone. Is it possible that someone could upload the update.zip for N920e so i can fix this issue?
Hi.
Unfortunately, flashing a boot.img of another device probably sealed the fate of your phone. However, you can ask around in the Android Q and A section over here:

[Completed] [Q] General Scatter file question (Jiayu g2f)

Hello,
first of all, i have to say i am googling araound and found nothing, exept how i use a scatterfile etc.
My problem:
After flashing a custom cwm with spflashtools to my jiayu g2f, i got the nvram warning under wifi.
This warning comes, because wifi MAC is random and IMEI is lost.
This is reproducable.
So my question is:
All tutorials said, flashing a custom cwm with spflash is not a problem, just select modem db file and scatter, select only the recovery and change the file to the custom one. I got the custom one from needrom. It works, when flashing via mtk droid, but when flashing with spflash, i get the nvram error.
I recognize, that the size of the file is another than the original size in the official rom. Isnt there a need of editing the scatterfile to fit it to the new size or is the recovery area on the phone big enough?
Thanks for reading,
Nine

Hey, thanks for answering. I only add the device name to be more specific. But in my opinion it is a mtk scatter file question in general.
Is the recovery partition excatly the size of the recovery.img. So, when i want to flash a greater recovery, i have to edit the scatter file?
Again, ask in the section I have linked. ?

[Completed] [Q] How to unbrick Starmobile Diamond X1

Hi guys! I accidentally bricked my phone when changing the font style. If I remember it correctly, I may have changed the path file where-in the changes will be applied for the font style, and after I rebooted the phone it is just stuck on the startup screen.
I already tried factory resetting the phone, but I dont have CWM or even TWRP recovery if there is for this kind of phone.
I can only access recovery mode but haven't tried the factory mode yet. Will try to install CWM later.
Is there any chance that it may work again if I flash a ROM even though I am still using the original ROM?
Any other methods that I can try?
Thanks!
Hi,
You could try a rom, but you'd need a custom recovery for that, usually. Or flash the factory firmware again. I can't find anything relevant on XDA for factory files tho. So you can ask here, or contact the manufacturer...

It showed me this message. Kindly do help

Hi,
Changing or flashing anything not made for your exact device make and model number usually causes very bad issues, sometimes bricked devices even. Not a good thing to do.
Here's a thread with links to your firmware, make sure to get the correct one...

If it won't work, your device may have other more serious issues, and you can ask for help here,

[Completed] [Q] Recovering Corrupted Android OS (Not Branded Device)

Hi, I believe there are lots of existing thread similar to this topic however, in my case, I really got confuse and it makes me difficult to handle since I am not really good into this kind of situation. Primarily my device is not branded and I read many tutorials but it doesn't work.
So I have this tablet from my friend and he says that the devices is already rooted when he got this one, so he went to the system folder/file and he change the settings on that particular file explorer without knowing what is that for but he never delete any files and after he restarted the device, it only shows the main logo and it went black. there is no display at all. However, when I tried to wipe and reset the device via recovery mode, it only says that the formatting was successfully done. But when I restart the device, the same thing happen.
Again, the main problem ( for me ) is this device is not a branded one, or let me say it is not international model like Samsung, HTC and other known brands. I've been digging in to this forum but most of the time, their devices seems very familiar and known like Samsung that has supported drivers and software but this one is not really known by many. So I came here to ask some help because my friend says he didn't have any backups or anything to restore this one.
I tried to use ADB sideload ( I found some sort of tutorial here ) however, signature failed. So my question is, it is possible to load a fresh Android OS on this device without clock world mode? I think the devices is not totally dead, since I can still access to recovery mode, so I expect that maybe this can be recoverable?
I only got some few details of this device for reference purposes but I don't really know if this works.
Device Name : Fabtab Quadro 8
OS Version : Android Kitkat 4.4.2
