Anytime you flash anything you are taking a risk. As long as the rom is ported correctly it is the same as flashing any other rom.
The ported ROMs are recommended and all of them have been tested by the creators beforehand then posted here.
I'm Using the nexus 5 running lollipop 5.0 and can't use the freedom.apk any more I just want to know if there is anther app for this
