White Spanish voice commands of punctiation (like ",") only work in Chrome and Google
Hi all,
First of all, I am writing this message through the voice to text software in Android however the punctuation "." and "," only work when I'm on Chrome or Google but in other applications like Gmail or whatsapp it doesn't work and it's very frustrating.
I have configurated to detect English and Spanish from Spain only though I'm from Chile. Now the details
V 4.4.4
Moto G xt 10400
By the way, would you recommend changing the rom of this phone to a custom versión?. If performance does not degrade then I would benefit from some programs that request root permission.

Help together translating apps

Hi everybody, I'm a developer and I'm having problems translating my app, I speak only italian and a bad english, but good enough to translate my app in a comprensible english...
I think lot of you have the same problem so, this is an " international " forum, so why can't we help together translating our apps ?
we could create a section near "Android Apps and Games" like Translations, create a thread for each app needs a translation and use http://www.getlocalization.com/ , it should be free using public workspaces, it works very well, reads the xml you upload, let users translate and then you can donwload the translated version of the xml, ready to put in the values_it folder of eclipse
what do you think ?
for example, this is the repository of my app http://www.getlocalization.com/sam/
using this open translation we could avoid things like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1867245 ( people that want and can help you in a few minutes and don't know how to do) and have our app worldiwde distributed
I would like to help but my english is good but not good enough
sony xperia ray ics 4.0.4
stock rom unrooted
nobody is interested in helping together translating our apps in languages different than English?

[Q] Is this possible with Tasker?

Hello,
First i wanna apologize if I didn't post this thread in the right forum as it's my very first time posting on XDA.
Now what I'd like to do is that when a word is highlighted, no matter the app (in the internet browser is preferred, am using Chrome) there's a menu with definitions for that word that pops up.
I've seen Google doing similar within their newsstand app, when you highlight a word you get its definition from Google dictionary live.
For the record I'm using Tasker on my Xperia z1 c6906, unrooted with Rogers wireless in Canada.
Thanks for your help

I have LG G Pro 2 F 350 purchased from South Korea however being used in Pakistan.

I am facing some problems:
1. SMS Character support is limited to 80 only and after 80 Characters SMS is automatically converted to MMS. How to change / remove???
2. Many options are still appearing in Korean Language in spite of the fact that Phone Language has been set to English
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

[Completed] [Q] Google keyboard personal dictionaries strange issue...

Hello,
I use the stock Google Keyboard (version 4.0.21203) with Greek and English languages installed.
Each time i add a new custom word, it's stored in a custom personal dictionary (named "zz") and not
in the English dictionary (or the "All languages" one), like it should. The worst thing is that words
stored in this elusive "zz" dictionary, don't show up as predictions when i type.
This thing is driving me insane for the last couple of years. I still haven't found any solution after
extensive searching on the web. I would be more than grateful to anybody who could help me with this.
(I've tried other keyboards like SwiftKey and Fleksy but i still prefer Google's one)
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. I did some searching but I was unable to find anybody who has the same issue as you. You could try asking your question in the general q&a section here:
Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Or just change your keyboard, I know you like the Google keyboard but you might not have any choice.
Good luck!
Thread closed, thanks.

[Completed] [REQ] An application for crowdin

Hello XDAers, I'm not sure whether it's allowed to ask for an app, but now that you know I'm asking for one... It's about the famous website crowdin.com,which is nearly an essential stop station for those who make new applications and want to translate it to many locale languages.
It gets quite hard to translate stuff from my browser on phone when I'm not home, which makes the process slow and boring, so I thought that if there was an "official, maybe" application for the thing, it would be absolutely better and more convenient.
Hi, thank you for isms XDA Assist. You could try asking in the hacking and development forum,http://forum.xda-developers.com/android
