Hey guyz i am lokking for an app which i can set password on my facebook/messenger or whatever else i prefer.
i was thinking of using CM security https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cleanmaster.security which has antivirus and password but from what i have read
isnt good and also it drains battery..
so i am looking an app ONLY to set passwords on my apps

Due to switching roms constantly and data wiping (i always like to start fresh, even without switching roms sometimes) there is always a lot to add back, some things which are tedious
basically i want to know if it would be a hassle to make an app do this:
add all the settings to set up my email
set up passwords for wifi networks i use a lot (home networks)
and a big one, install a certificate and set up the wifi to use on campus
my background:
outside of Matlab and Mathematica i know nothing about programming (if you can even consider those real programming languages?)
ive been interested in learning to program, mainly to accomplish personal tasks like these
would this be too 'difficult' to go after and tackle, where to start?
would the google appcreater be able to do something like this?

Email settings are saved, you' re doing it wrong. Don't know about the certs tho

I agree. It saves emails. Best still to use k-9 as it saves that too. Just buy it as restoring in unpaid version is a pain in the ass

I was little jobless for a week , so decided to do something simple . so i made a app to remember your passwords, its very straight forward.
STORE
VIEW
REMOVE
and you can set a password for the app !! TATS IT!
PS. i dono whether thiss will b really useful or no. So you TELL ME !

Yes the app stores everything in its own memory and does not require internet access

Been trying to find a "password safe" app for storing my passwords securely (I'm getting fed up with forever using forgotten password and getting memorable date etc wrong), when checking through reviews of the password apps etc they are all old, anybody using an upto date password manager app on Android they can recommend?

i keep my passwords complex but i only have two or three different ones. If i need to password change, i will go out to the other sites/programs and change it there too to stay uncluttered. i don't trust password apps. sorry i cant be much help.

Well I have just gone for the Safe In Cloud app, the reviews are good, despite the name it does not store your passwords on the net, but was designed it would seem for people who do not like their passwords stored on somebody elses server (despite the fact they are on dropbox backed up).
All that said I have to say it has a cracking UI, easy to read and easy to setup, sync with dropbox and drive but no other link to the web. From what I have seen of the encryption is OK aswell.
Looks good, if you do not want it linking to the internet at all just block it with permissions denied from linking to the internet..

I use aWallet for long time. Very good app.
Lastpass is the best by far, do not be fooled by how unpolished the Android app looks.
Secure Password Vault
It's darn near perfect. Built by a former BB user for former BB users.
Until recently, it had NO permissions at all. Now he's added a permission for you to email the encrypted file to yourself as a backup. None of your information is stored anywhere except it that file.
You need to at least consider this app. Owner is very support driven also, I've email with with him on more than 1 occasion.

What you're asking is Droidwall or its fork AFwall + Time based (Enable/Disable Sync) feature which I suppose isn't available as you expect.
However, this might be useful.

but can you please clear my some query i can define application wise sync also on wifi & 3g
thax for support
please revert me because my k9 mail eat so much battery because of 1 minute sync on both wifi & data
but i want define data sync should get some delay on mobile network on mail app

Buddy, LBE can disable data connectivity of any app through WIFI or 3G. For time to time sync, please use any other application.
LBE looks nice will give it a try...

Hi guys. I need some help blocking the YouTube app from my router (d-link). My brother is really neglecting his school work. He brings his friends over after school (while I'm at work) and sits on YouTube all day using the Ps3 because I've put a password on my main computer. At night, he's supposed to be learning for exams but he's on YouTube with his phone..
I've blocked the following addresses from the router:
youtube.com
ytimg.com
youtu.be
m.youtube.com
And this works if you visit YouTube from any Web browser but it doesn't seem to affect the YouTube app on Android. Any help? Please?

Great idea! I completely forgot about WiFi kill.. Although, I think WiFi kill will only work if I'm connected to the network right?
