why small screen row of my lg g2 d800 not responding sometimes and responding sometimes?
when i go into hidden settings menu and go to hardware test and then touch test and then 'check synaptics touch panel' when the 4tests pass screen works fine but sometimes 2 test pass and screen doesnt work fine. please help me out.

Some devices you can turn the screen back on by shaking it a bit.... Or you can press the power button quickly.
There may be ways to keep the display on completely, but I'm not sure. Other than setting the screen timeout longer in display settings. Try phone app settings for a keep screen awake option too.

Got a HTC Deire 600 the bottom part of the touch screen that is above the htc icon does not work and the touch screen sometimes just starts working on its on like the screen has yellow lines on the side and well I got this phone for free from a friend so I couldn't complain...is my phone screen bad? I use a blackberry curve charger to charge the phone and I just factory restored it using settings but the phone is still having that problem it comes and goes and does get particularly annoying...what can I do to sort it out? help please

hi all ,
From some days ago i was unable to access the settings on my phone, which would "unfortunately stop ". In order to sort this out i tried to reset my phone with the key combination of Volume keys ,quick button etc. But instead of the boot-loader it took me to normal home screen which was a blank screen with no icons or wall paper except the pop up which states that " unfortunately settings has stopped". Nothing except the notification pull bar works . From this i am able to access the Quick menu app and through the 'share' option in it i can access apps like Fb,Twitter,messaging etc. When i restart the phone , a green android with an open belly appears with something rotating in its belly after which it takes me to the blank home.
Pls help in troubleshooting this.

I rooted my LG G2. After it rebooted my phone I have no access to my home screen. It will flash a couple of
times and goes to open pages screen and stays there. I can't get to any apps or other parts of my phone. Only
thing I can do is a hard press to my home button to get to Google search

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
If you have Google Now as part of the home long press, you should be able to tell it to open Settings app (tap the microphone and say "Open Settings"). From there, go to Developer Options (if not listed, go to About Phone and tap Build Number 7 or 8 times), and turn on ADB debugging (if not turned on already). From there, you can push a launcher to your device.
If no Google Now (or an easier alternative), Play store may still be active and can download apps in the background (including launchers) if one used a PC and set that app to install to that device.
So a couple of options.

1)The day had been quite nice.All was going well.Suddenly,while testing the one-handed mode in my ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser(ZE550KL),the screen adjusted itself in landscape mode,the it blacked out.But still,the three touch buttons(Back,Home,Overview) give haptic feedback and appear to be working.The LED notification light is also working.In the locked mode, when I draw the 'C' gesture for camera,the camera app opens ,proof is that I heard the sound of taking a pic with the volume rocker.But when I unlock the screen,only a faint backlight is seen.When I long press the power button ,the phone automatically reboots itself.Please provide urgent help.This is my father's phone actually,and he has to attend a extremely important conference in Dubai,consisting of high profile delegates.
2)Second thing,twice I received OTA updates from ASUS.Both times they failed.
I was thinking of de-bricking the phone(kinda) by applying the update via adb.I have also downloaded the latest firmware file(zip) from asus.com/support.
What do I do now?
