Android M is coming soon for Google Nexus 5 and Nexus 6
LG Nexus 5 was released back in 2014 with Android Kitkat and upgraded to Android Lollipop in last year November. It also updated to Android 5.1.1 earlier this year. Motorola Nexus 6 was released in 2014 with inbuilt Android Lollipop and later upgraded to Android 5.1.1. Recently Google released two developer previews of Android M for Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 devices. Many users who have knowledge in flashing installed these previews and enjoying Android M earlier than others. Till now, only two minor bugs have been reported and Google fixed in them in the second developer preview of Android M.
Nexus 5 users already found that Android M OS increases the battery standby time. So it seems that Google made significant improvements in Android M over Lollipop. According to latest reports, Android M will be released under version 5.2. The code name of the forthcoming Android OS will be revealed in the launch expected in September. So that Nexus 5 users may receive Android M update in October. Nexus 6 users may get this update in October through Factory images. Over the Air (OTA) rollout may begin in October and it may spread throughout the world in November.
This time Google may release Android M update to Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 devices quickly. Previously Nexus 5 got the Android Lollipop update with some delay than expected dates because of the presence of over heating and battery drain bugs. It seems that Android M doesn't have such type of serious bugs, so that there may be no delays in the rollout.

Android KitKat
Google has just announced that the next version of Android will be called KitKat and not Key Lime Pie, as rumoured earlier. Also, the next Android version number is 4.4 not 5.0, indicating that KitKat is not going to be a huge jump but a smaller upgrade.

The search giant has also placed the KitKat Android version statue along with previous versions in the Mountain View. Android boss Sundar Pichai posted a photo of the same on his Twitter account today.
In this tweet and on his Google+ account, Pichai revealed that Android has now crossed 1 billion device activations. This is up from 900 million activations figure shared at Google I/O 2013 earlier this year.
“… All this Android innovation is driving tremendous ecosystem momentum and I’m excited to share that together we’ve now passed 1 Billion Android device activations. Huge thanks to the entire Android community from the hardware manufacturers, chip makers and carriers to the developers and content creators to all of you – our Android users around the world – for making this possible,” Sundar wrote on Google+.

Hope Satan does not get too much involved in your product!
I'm still tuning Slimkat 4.4.4 to work as I want, patching what I can with my Newbie skills - but you absolutely had the best product for my needs in regards of Rom - Sadly there have been a lot of annoying bugs to find solutions for... I have one main and annoying problem left - Losing connection and all information in the APNs and needing a reboot the phone to get it back.
Iv fixed the low volume, the low mic, the internet, 4G and now have this big issue to squash out... Then there is some smaller issues.... Had been a wonder if someone was still doing some work on the Note 2 7105 Slimkat.
Would have been a wonder of a system if it had worked out of the box I even used it without internet because I liked it so much.
Anyway - Thanks for the great system, sadly you hit a wall and Satan may have wanted you to close down for a time. Actually this system had the least Satanic footprint of the Andriod systems out there iv tried. Keep his symbols and filth out of your new Reestablished system. Keep it clean, keep it nice - and Todah Rabah for all your work.
God Bless you - Jesus is the way!

WhatsApp To Finally Drop Support For More Blackberry 10 And Windows 8.0 Devices.

Just as we've seen from past experiences, WhatsApp has once again, decided to end support for more Blackberry devices running on Blackberry 10 OS and Windows Phones running Windows 8.0 version and below. According to Blackberry Support Page and WhatsApp FAQ Page.

I don't know this thingy that WhatsApp has with Blackberry devices, but i think that WhatsApp has naturally grown into hating Blackberry devices.
The world's most popular messaging app has once again decided to do a routine check in it's list of devices and by doing so, they've decided to shutdown operation on more blackberry devices and this time that targeting the blackberry 10 devices, such as the Blackberry Q series and the Z series, and Windows Phones running on version 8.0.
Support for Windows 7.0, Android 2.1 and 2.2 Froyo, and iOS 6 were shut down last year 2016.
And these are the list of devices that wouldn't be supporting WhatsApp in the near future..
1. Nokia Symbian s60 will be ending support on June 30 2017.
2. Nokia Symbian s40 will be terminating their support on December 31 2018
3. While Android 2.3.7 and older versions will go on until February 1 2020.
So Blackberry 10 and Windows Phone 8.0 owners, get ready for the next big thing. I think this is a best time to consider upgrading to an Android device, at least an Android 5.0 Lollipop device wouldn't be a bad idea at all.
So guys, that is it for now, sorry to those who are currently being affected by this new development from WhatsApp.
Let us know what you think of this move from WhatsApp, is it a smart move or just something to frustrate Blackberry and its users as a whole?
Bye and have a nice day. and Merry Christmas to All of Us.
Sad to hear that.
I have blackberry Q10 and I am using whatsapp
Installed from android APK file.

Ulefone official website claims that Ulefone power 3 will have the update of Android 8.1 very soon in March, 2018 and some Chinese retailer, like Coolicool, has advertised in their home page too. Any ideas?

does anybody know about root for current version?
i 'think' i got the bootloader unlocked via adb and unlock bootloader. the end result was bootloader unlocked but i didnt get to check it yet.
I really hope they fix the camera on the Oreo update, because it is really ****. I really love the rest of it, but the camera is so bad that it is a totally dealbreaker for me.

Ulefone released another teaser video of the Power 3 and 3S for the Oreo 8.1 Update.
https://youtu.be/7L9RNZmFlZ8
It was published May 14th:
As we promised before, the 6080mAh Ulefone Power 3 is getting Android 8.1 Oreo update. After the beta testing stage is over, the Oreo system on the Power 3 is stable and works perfectly well. The all-new Oreo system combined with the Power 3’s high-end MTK6763 octa-core processor and 6080mAh battery capacity delivers a smoother, faster and more energy-efficient overall performance. The final version of Android Oreo will be rolled out via OTA as long as a new GMS certification is approved.
Currently waiting for their GMS certification with Google.
Well it is now nearly at the end of July and still have no Oreo update........
when this phone will get update 8.0?
Any news?
Hi guys,
My Ulefone Power 3 brought from China in Dec 2017, suddenly no longer wants to focus on the main camera.
I tried different applications for the camera and no one focus anymore.

Last one I had was in February.
Guess no more offical updates?
I'm wondering if it's because watch 6 should be coming out soon. I'm sure there may be more updates, has there been anything official from Samsung about updates and how watch 4 is supported?
