Htc onesv cannot connect to internet using wifi.. HELP!

i have a problem with my htc onesv after i updated it to JB. it cannot connect to internet using WIFI. it can connect to my router and im sure that my router si working but i dont know the reason why i cannot connect to internet using my htc onesv. does anybody have similar problem? please help.. ty..

Could you check advanced settings on WiFi and see if it says anything in IP Address box, also are you on stock ROM?
You could also log into the router and see if it displays the connection etc.

Is your mobile rooted?

And have you any MAC-Filters on your router where you have to add the MAC Address of the phone?

yes i am on stock ROM. on IP address box it shows this IP 192.168.10.101
and on my router it shows that i am connected. i dont know if it matters but it says that i am connected in power saving mode while my laptop is connected with power saving off.

Nope! my mobile is not rooted..
htc sent me some troubleshooting tips but non of it worked.

MAC filter on my router is disabled. by the way, i tried to connect on my neighbors wifi also and on hotspots on malls. still cant connect to the internet. i never touch any settings on this unit since i am only using this as a secondary phone.

You have set the correct password?

reflashed my phone and now its working,

what problem it would be? the router did not refuse UNKNOWN mac in setting.

Maybe your router is configured for a wifi mode that is supported by one of the phones and not the other ?
Wifi N for instance ? Or 5GHz band ?

Or it could be ip conflict (google)

I am newbie here, and i wanna ask something
my GT-P5100 wont connect to my home wifi, whereas the router just 1 ft in front of me, and of course its already turned on, when i scan with my p5100 nothing appear in the list, i've saved my home SSID but it showing "out of range"
i also have sony C1905 and the wifi is O.K.
i dont know what to do, please help me...

Try connecting with some other device to see if it's the tabs fault or not. If router is okay reflash the rom with a data wipe.

I've tried to connect to my C1905's portable Hotspot, and it was detected, but when I tried to connect to my home wifi, it still not detected

Sounds like a router issue. Reset the router by inserting a pin in the reset hole at the back of the router and hold for 5 secs.

what happen if i restarted the router? will it restarted the whole configuration on my router too? like SSID and encryption?
but my sony C1905 still can detect that router

Yup.. Settings get reset. I think you should try and change the encryption password type to wpa from wep. Sometimes that stops devices from being detected.

i still afraid to restart the router, i afraid to lose all router setting that have already set by ISP

It just a custom ROM problem, I flash my stock firmware, then everything went o.k.

Xperia C Wifi , Bluetooth and Mobile Data not working

Hello guys, i have a problem. My xperia c's wifi , bluetooth and mobile data cannot work. Is that hardware problem ? Because i try to reset about 3 times and still cannot connect to the wifi. If this is hardware problem.. anyone know where to find that wifi adapter or something that relate to connection part. I need to find that spare part. Thanks in advance.

Hi,i. My Xperia c 2305 Wi-Fi, Bluetooth not hold I am reboot many times my mobile if it's HARDWEAR problem I have attend Sony service center but they not salve my problem.

Anyone encounter the wifi lag when connected to the wifi? Mine is worst. Sometimes it got disconnected but when its not the speed is super slow. It's not my wifi problem as all my other devices are working correctly.
I already reset the network settings on the mobile, reset the wifi connection, forget the wifi then connect it again but still the same problem persists.

yes, same here on my huawei P50 Pro ( Snapdragon ) .... I will go to Huawei Customer Service as soon as possible because its not acceptable problem !! also there is a heating issue while normal usage !

Same here. Connection fixed with formating WiFi and Bluetooth but my WiFi is so slow on internet when my iPhone 13 pro is away more faster in WiFi speed

Were you able to fix the problem with the wifi, I have the same problem

<Fixed> : install harmony os instead EMUI 12, and all fixed.
you can install harmony os from XDA site just check latest thread in Huawei p50 pro section :

The problem is only in 2.4 ghz band wifi, in 5ghz works great
