[Completed] My samsung Gt-p3110 keep restarting. Please help!!! - XDA Assist

It turns on for a few seconds and then turns off again. I tried everything that I could think of.
1. I tried Clearing the Cache using recovery mode but it only say "Error"
2. I tried Factory data reset. It says Successful but when i hit reboot. nothing has changed, all my apps are still there. and my tab kept restarting.
3. I tried flashing cwm using odin (hoping that i could install a custom rom) i said pass but when i boot into recovery mode, it is just stock recovery not cwm.
4. I also tried uninstalling apps (hoping that something will change) but alas! when my tab restarts, the apps i did install is still there...
5. Finally, I tried flashing stock rom using odin but to my suprise, rom flashing will fail halfway...
Im out of options. please tell me what to do..

Soft brick, recovery refuses to wipe data

So, friend of mine tried to update his Telenor Serbia tab from HC to ICS via kies, it offered upade, he tried, and finished being stucked with samsung galaxy tab 7.7 logo.
Tab can enter both to download mode or recovery.
He gave to me and what I did so far is this:
- First, downloaded LQG and installed via odin, but tab is still stucked.
- I installed CWM 6.0.2.3 and tried to wipe data, but it refuses to wipe, it kind of starts, but reset immediately.
- Downloading LA4 (HC) rom to instal via odin and try to wipe from custom recovery, same result, actualy, it refuses to enter factory recovery, it says "updating aplication".
- Installed Touch recovery TWRP 2.4.0.0. but it wont even enter it.
- Now I am trying with some LQG_BLG ICS rom, and ig it fails, I'll try with Open Austria rom.
Any other ideas? Do I have to repartition data or it still can be restored?
UPDATE: I have managed to restore it via double flashing LQC_BLG rom that bassem.mohsen here. One time was not enough, but twice with not allowing it to boot, before the second time.
I have installed CWM after so I don't have issues with mmc, and that's it.

thanks for the up-date.. This sounds like a breakthru that alot of people (like me) could use...
Most that are stuck at boot loop...
ONE thing though....
you said in part.... " twice with not allowing it to boot, before the second time. "
Now can you elaborate on your 'timing' on when to push the start button again on Odin on the second flash..
Ive read this once before....
BUT... I think we need a specific instruction on the exact timing.. on WHEN to flash the second time.... what should be showing on our screens when we hit Odins start button for the second flash.....
Please instruct us on exactly when to flash the second time.... thanks alot....

[Q] Help needed GT-S7562 bootload problem

Hello all. I have a problem with Samsung Galaxy S duos not booting after i tried to go back to stock firmware. I was using a custom PMP V6 Rom , but it was experiencing problems with mobile data, so i decided to go back to stock firmware. So i downloaded the stock firmware from Sammobilehttp://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=GT-S7562&pcode=SEB flashed it with Odin V3.9. everything went fine apart when my phone restarted it just stuck on Samsung logo screen. Tried to get into recovery, but i can't. Tried to load cwm recovery, but even after odin says it pass, i can't get into recovery. I can get into download mode, so tried flashing firmware again couple of times, once even with pit file, hoping that may help, but no luck. Tried to follow some steps in a guide about such problems, but can't get adb to stay runing, it would start, run for a sec and then close. So now am asking all the clever guys out there for help. Am running Windows7 ultimate X64bit edition.
Solved got adb working by following this, after data, cache wipe, phone successfully booted up.

[Completed] [Q] GT-P3100 tablet keeps restarting after a few minutes

Hi,
my GT-P3100 tablet keeps restarting after a few minutes.
So I tried to uninstall lastly installed app, but the device restarted every time I tried to do something with it - even a factory reset or opening the play store app. I also couldn't perform a factory reset form the recovery - it seemed like it was done ("Data wipe complete"), but it changed nothing. The next step I made was to flash a new firmware through Odin (3.09). The original firmware was 4.1.0, I flashed 4.2.2 - the whole process seemed to be OK, but an error occurred when the SYSTEM part was being flashed. I tried it 2 more times with the same result. Then I tried to root it with CF-Auto-root through Odin. The process was made successfully (as Odin wrote). The next step was to flash the CWM recovery (with hope that I will be able to perform a working factory reset). This was successful again, but the recovery didn't change.
AFTER ALL THIS STEPS I HAVE THE SAME LOOKING SYSTEM - with all apps, same restart problem,... It seems like it is protected against writing/deleting of anything.
I would be really thankful, if anybody gives me an advice what to do...
Thank you very much.[/QUOTE]
So I tried to my Samsung galaxy Tab 2 GT-P3100.
1. Tried to uninstall software, but it's restore again after every reboot.
2. Tried to delete some Images, video and sms but again it restart and restore.
3. Tried using safe mode but nothing changed.
4. Tried to wipe data/factory reset using system recovery. when I entered recovery menu some massage shown at bottom
Applied the CSC-code: TMZ... did not match sized '/system/csc/common/system/csc/default_workspace.xml' (No data available)
5. Flash ROM with odin 3.09 but it failed at 50%, but nothing changed.
6. Flash ROM using ADB bootloader, but nothing changed.
7. Flash rom from sd card, but nothing changed.
8. Tried to flash a CWM, TWRP recovery image, via fastboot, ADB, SD card, odin, but nothing changed.
9. Flash ROM with Heimdall (Heimdall is a cross-platform open-source tool suite used to flash firmware (aka ROMs) onto Samsung mobile devices).:crying:
10. When I went to the service center they suggest me replace motherboard. (cost Rs. 7500/-)
any suggestions are welcome

Tab keeps shutting down / Can't flash custom recovery

Hello, guys, how are you all?
I'm having some trouble with my Galaxy Tab 2 (P3100), and I was hoping you could help.
Here's the thing, the Tab shuts down minutes after I boot it. So I tried to factory reset the tab, using its stock recovery.
The thing is, although it says the wipe was successful, nothing happens, nothing changes.
Alright, next I tried flashing a custom recovery - CWM - with Odin on Windows. Again, it says the flash was successful, but when I try to boot in recovery mode, it's the stock recovery that loads! Absolutely no sign of CWM whatsoever. Using Heimdall on linux got me the exactly same result, and I'm out of norse gods...
Finally, flashing the stock rom for the P3100 using Odin always fails. I'm not sure why.
So sorry for the long post. Can anyone help me?

Unmark 'Autoreboot' option in Odin. Then reboot it manually into recovery...

Sounds like a broken emmc, you should follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/help/soft-bricked-tab-gt-p3100-t3016879 in case someone finds a solution

P3100 restarts itself, can't format factory, broken eMMC?

So, I flashed my p3100 with unofficial cyanogenmod 13. At first everything was working just fine and then I lent it to a friend then something funny happened. Now the tab can start just fine but it will restart itself after a minute or two. I've tried factory reset but nothing, everything remains the same. I tried formatting the storage in recovery mode but it's the same. I even tried flashing cmw recovery, currently it's on twrp, but it won't change. It's still on twrp. I tried flashing with stock rom using Odin but it always failed. I tried deleting some files... at first it seemed they were deleted but they were back again. It's like nothing can be done to the storage! Can you tell me what's wrong with my tab??? And possible solution? Thanks!

sounds like emmc. for more info read here http://andi34.github.io/faq.html
This is happening for me too. I'll use heimdall or something to flash twrp, it reports success but then rebooting into recovery has it still as stock.
It'll reboot after a minute or so, and any changes i made (uninstalling apps, removing widgts) get undone next reboot.
not working
