[Completed] Recovering data from dead phone - XDA Assist

Hey all,
I accidentally ran a root script on my LG G2 D803 that was for the D802, and then my phone would only boot into fastboot mode. Then in an attempt to restore the phone, I flashed the stock boot, aboot, modem, and laf, as well as twrp recovery, but now the phone just shows a black (but still on) screen, even when I plug it in to charge. Neither ADB nor fastboot can detect the phone, and when I plug it in to a computer, it shows a bunch of weird system files, .b00, .b01 etc...
Long story short, since the phone's hardware is still in good condition, I was wondering if there was anyway to restore just the /sdcard partition, or a way to restore the whole phone (though I really doubt that at this point).
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

[Completed] Is there any hope left for my boyfriends LG G2 LS980?

OKAY SO-
My boyfriend soft bricked his LG G2 LS980 (when attempting to get twrp).
When this happened we thought we found a way to fix it but when we were entering commands in my computers cmb with the phone connected via usb to get it out of fastboot something went wrong and now his phone wont turn on at all.
We automatically assumed that we completely ruined it until I discovered that his phone isn't completely off -the screen lights up a bit- and when I plug the device up it shows up as Local Disk Y: and tells me to format multiple discs.
Is there anyway to fix this at all or should I just give up ?
:crying:

[Completed] [Q] ATT LG G2 stuck in boot loop help please :(

I'm rooted, but never got around to installing any ROMs or recoveries. There was an update that force installed after I held off on doing it for a while, but not my phone is stuck no boot loop. I tried doing a hard reset but it didn't work and I tried download mode but the I got an error message when driver installation started. Is there anything else I can do/anything I've done wrong?
help
Hi,
I suggest you do have a custom recovery, no? Otherwise how did you root? And yes, taking an OTA with a custom recovery will usually end badly.
You could try the procedure in this thread,
> LG G2 > G2 Android Development > [FIX] Installed TWRP and now you're stuck after OTA?
If that doesn't help, you can ask for help here,

[Completed] [Q] HELP!!!! wrong boot files on lg g2 d802!!

hello, thank you to all the helpers.
i got a new lg g2 d802 32 gb phone, and of course tried to root and put twrp on it. the root went well but i was unsuccessful at putting the twrp on it.
when i tried going into the twrp it got stuck in fastboot mode. after some research i learned what to do and started flashing the root files.
i didn't realize that there are designated files for every phone (stupid, right?). now my phone wont go into download mode, recovery mode,
or fastboot, and every time i turn it on it goes into the welcome setup of the d800, stays there for a couple of minutes and reboots.
my windows does not recognize it, and running ubuntu on vmware doesn't either.
is there a fix out there or is the phone gone?
please help!!!

[Completed] Please someone help meeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an LG Optimus L90 D415. When i bought, came with kitkat and later updated to lollipop. First i rooted the phone. I made a backup of my recovery using flashify first, then i downloaded twrp successfully. I then gathered all my materials to flash a custom rom (the rom itself and google apps). I booted into my new custom recovery and made a backup of my current stock rom (both rom and recovery backed up on sd). I flashed cm11 to my phone and it worked, but there were MANY problems. The mobile antenae would turn off and on constantly and the camera app didnt even open, but wifi was fine. I got a notification on the phone saying that there was a cm11 update to nightly. I downloaded it, thinking it would solve the problems. Then, my phone rebooted into recovery to update. After it was done, booted normally into cm11. But then, it reset my phone and there were even more problems. i was back at the setup screen, wifi OR mobile data didnt work, there was no bluetooth, camera was not opening once again and the mobile antenae would turn off and on constantly like before. I rebooted my phone normally, and after it booted it was reset AGAIN. I was unable to go into recovery by holding vol down and power, it would go to the LG screen and reboot. Then guess what? RESET AGAIN! I was getting a little frustrated, so i tried to reboot recovery from terminal emulator. i went into storage, and it said internal storage was 128 mb, with 9mbs remaining. So i plugged my fone into the PC and installed drivers and ADB fast boot. I went into cmd and made it boot into recovery once again successfully. from recovery, i wiped my phone from cm and went to restore. My phone however, stopped at about half way and said RESTORE FAILED. At this point, i knew the phone was as good as garbage. but as a last resort, i plugged it in to the PC once again and went into download mode by holding volume up while plugging in the phone to the PC. i opened lg flash tool 2014. i wanted to see if i can flash the stock .kdz file i had of my phone. I pressed on read phone info and it gave me errors. it said IMEI Empty and other things like that. SO IS MY PHONE AS GOOD AS DEAD OR WHAT? SOMEONE PLEEEASSSE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally fixed it. Turns out the internal storage wasn't mounted. I had to mount it from recovery, then I restored. And boom, back to normal

[Completed] LG G3 D850 for AT&T Bootloop, No Fastboot, Crash Kernal, LG Flashtool Stuck at 6%

Hello I have an AT&T LG G3 D850 and for some reason when I attempt to go this I get stuck at 6% and it will get stuck at "LAP Bin_User_Mode" and finally would say "Erase Command Failed". To my knowledge the partition on the phone has been wiped from TWRP making the phone at this point absolute useless. The only mode I can access is Dowload Mode and TWRP Recovery but even in recovery I cant do anything because the partition has been wiped. What can I do at this point? Thanks
