I used all versions o ginger break but no thing happened
should I do anything before using the rooting programs such as safemode or some thing

Our phone is not on the listcbut you can give it a try(i can't cus I'm already rooted)And don't be afraid that you will damage your phone-the worst thing that can happen is that it doesn't work. After you are done post did it work so that i know should i keep searching.Good luck!

Not at the moment, but i know that's not all root manuals are the same(though in most cases you need the debugging if you are rooting over windows/Linux)

Please any solution
Please answer me
hey you only had to downgrad youre device, than root and flash a custom rom.
try it with the kdz update tool (google kdz lg )
but take a different firmware 10.e shoud be ok you can take any version of it.
10e should be ok. i hope i could help you,
No any solution without roms because I heard it may be harmful for the device
I also tried the rooting by DOS and I get
unable to chmod files
and then unable to copy files
Why???
Please I( want solution
What LG stock ROM do you currently have? If it's 10a, then it's one of the hardest to root.
I had 10a, then upgraded to 10d and gingerbreak worked like a charm.

I'm not sure if there is another way to root, but I believe you have to flash clockworkmod recovery and then flash an already rooted ROM to obtain root.
Hope this helped!

There's a thread in the dev section called how to mod your tmobile g2x by tga gunman. Follow that.. Also noticed that link was for O2x not G2x. Not sure if it makes a difference but I know the roms are not compatible with each other..

installing jelly bean on micromax a 110

hello all,
i have a micromax a 110. and i just bought it a month ago, i would love to root it... and also, my friend told that if we root the phone we can get paid apps for free is that true??
and how do i install the latest jellybean update?
and whats the best rooting version??
Getting paid apps for free is piracy and talk of that is not allowed here. Root has nothing to do with it. You can get JellyBean if someone has made a ROM for your device. Google 'micromax a110 rooting' and you'll definitely find sites explaining the process if it exists for your device.
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
Hmmm no you won't get any paid apps for free whether you root or not. its better for you to not root your device if you are doing it for the sake of warez
And about other questions - search for - 'micromax a110 all things root' and you'll find a thread with all necessary info on rooting and Roms .

lol
yes u can do everything if its rooted , as i can see you are not well aware of all this, you better stay out of this rooting is likely to cause many problems to your phone

I had successfully rooted the DL701q using kingoroot. A couple of days ago an OTA update took place, unrooted the device. Now kingo root will not root, geniusroot will not root it, nor will towelroot.
Any ideas?? the update obviously put the hurt on rooting this deice
How did you root the DL701Q tablet with Kingoroot when the Device isn't on the compatible list?

Thank bronco a ton this has taken me a month to find a root

H955 root

Currently running root on 5.01 however wanted to upgrade to 5.1.1 root as I've heard its has much better performance, first question is do I need to unroot and upgrade via ota update then root or can I go straight to rooted 5.1.1? Second question is whether one of the people working on the root could upload a separate thread with detailed instructions of how to root as I find it almost impossible to navigate my way through the development thread, sorry if this seems demanding.
Thanks for the help!
