Google force close on "navigate" command - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

On the most recent version of the google app i'm getting force closes when I do a "navigate" command for example "navigate home" if I uninstall updates this no longer happens. This command is working fine on my other devices. Anyone else getting this?
Stock Rooted, Canadian S6 (non edge)
EDIT: Flashed to stock and rerooted. Everything seems fine now.

Try going to recovery mode and wipe cache.

Boot up Error

I installed Clockwork V8 and then TNT Lite 3.0. Upon boot I get the following error.
Google Partner Setup (processor.com.google.android.partnership) a force close button.
Upon pushing force close it boots normally. Everything seems to be working. I then installed TNT Lite Supplements. I have done the market fix and seem to have most of the market. However I am not sure as I cant find Google Earth or FlashPlayer.
I have applied the fix to get the Home button to show the last used apps.
The G2 is running very fast and smooth. I want to thank all that assisted me in my previous post.
If anyone has a suggestion on how to get rid of the boot error, I would appreciate it. Do you think I need to do the market fix again. BTW I got back my paid apps too.

If the process com.android.phone repeatedly force closes...

Hopefully anyone else that might be having this problem can find this thread, because there are tons of them but none suggested what worked for me:
Info:
HTC Incredible, 2.3.4, rooted but stock with crap apps removed
After attempting to clear the dialer storage (trying to delete all of my texts because my phone will lock up when trying to delete large threads, but that's a different issue), the process com.android.phone started force closing repeatedly. I tried clearing the data for the phone app, but pretty much everything crashed when I tried to (phone froze, notification bar disappeared, etc.). I tried toggling airplane mode and mobile network/data, but the options were greyed out. I tried rebooting and soft resets.
What finally worked was running "Fix Permissions" via ROM Manager (I assume it would work via CWM as well). The whole process froze eventually, with the notification bar disappearing and all that again, but the force close dialogs had stopped. I rebooted my phone and all is back to normal.
Hope this helps someone.
Your post does help.
I deleted phone stock app, because I have that dialer from go devs already...and the message pop up eventually.
Fix permission in recovery of CWM does work. Message gone ! But cannot call lolz....
I had the same problem with all of my custom roms I was trying on my Nexus S and I found the exact problem (after months) and how to fix it...pretty easy
The problem is the Stk.apk, just remove the Stk.apk from the rom (in the .zip file) or easier than going thru Winzip, just flash the rom do the setup and with ( I use Root Uninstaller ) remove it from system/app and you'll get rid of the problem
Enjoy
I tried all the solutions recommended and nothing worked. I called in to sprint and all i had to do was go to the dial pad and dial ##72786#
Hope that helps if anybody else is running into this problem.

[Q] Problem with web after upgrading firmware

I have a rooted phone I bought from someone and it was failing the Samsung updates that came to the phone. So I installed Kies and was able to update the firmware to Android Version 4.0.4 using the computer.
The wifi is connected fine to my home network. It's just when I open the Web icon, it freezes and the screen goes black and eventually I get a message that says "Unfortunately, Web has stopped." I have to hit ok. Sometimes after that I also get a message that says TW Launcher has stopped working.
How can I fix this? The main thing I use the phone for is internet.
Thanks in advance. I am a newbie to the Androids and hope I didn't really mess up the phone by updating the firmware.
First thing I would do is wipe the data/cache from the browser app, and see if that fixes it. If not, you could try another browser, or try a factory reset (will wipe user data/apps).

[Q] HyperdriveOTA force closes

Im a straight noob on here. So, sorry if this is a re-post. I tried looking for a similar problem but didn't find anything.
I have rooted and flashed Hyperdrive RLS2 on my GS4, everything went fine. I went into Hyperdrive control and installed a few cool tweaks (adblock, adobe, transparent and volume hack) rebooted into recovery to install those items thru TWRP recovery (as suggested) again everything went smoothly. I rebooted system, and a window appeared with a error message " Unfortunately HyperdriveOTA has stopped."
I tried opening Hyperdrive control and it forced closes.
Could someone tell me whats going on. Did I do something wrong?

This was pretty much what I did and it worked. I only forced closed and cleared data and cache in hyperdrive hub and hyperdrive ota. Now everything is fine.

Google Now/Search Issue Lollipop 5.1

Has anyone else experienced issues with Google Now/Search after updating? When I attempt to search using Google Now, or the Google Search bar on the home screen the results will show up, but then the phone freezes. I have to reboot the phone as none of the buttons are responsive.
I am currently running the 5.1 factory image. I have cleared cache from recovery (TWRP), cleared the cache & data for Google Search from the apps section, as well as uninstalled & reinstalled the update in the Play Store. The last method of troubleshooting I used was to boot the phone into safe mode, but the issue remained.
Sent from my Nexus 5
Nope. Working flawlessly here. Try flashing the factory image again or better yet, flash a custom ROM & try.
