I installed Clockwork V8 and then TNT Lite 3.0. Upon boot I get the following error.
Google Partner Setup (processor.com.google.android.partnership) a force close button.
Upon pushing force close it boots normally. Everything seems to be working. I then installed TNT Lite Supplements. I have done the market fix and seem to have most of the market. However I am not sure as I cant find Google Earth or FlashPlayer.
I have applied the fix to get the Home button to show the last used apps.
The G2 is running very fast and smooth. I want to thank all that assisted me in my previous post.
If anyone has a suggestion on how to get rid of the boot error, I would appreciate it. Do you think I need to do the market fix again. BTW I got back my paid apps too.

This is my first Android phone and I've already managed to screw it up. Yay!
I get an infinite loop of FC on twlauncher on boot. I can't access any menus or anything. I suspect I need to reflash, but I have no clue where to get the ROM from. Or how to do it, to be honest. Though if someone has another solution I would be grateful.
EDIT:
Well, I've got it into "Downloading mode". That doesn't require a working OS. Gonna google around to find a ROM and instructions...
EDIT2:
So I have access to another Charge. But no easy access to a Linux box, so I can't create a flash-able Odin image. Sigh.
EDIT3:
Fixed. There was about 3 seconds in between the phone booting and the FC of twlauncher. In that time, I was able to get into the settings app. When twlauncher crashed, it didn't kick me out, as I was hoping. Then, I did a hard reset and everything works again. I'm an atheist, but hallelujah praise the lord.
Hopefully anyone else that might be having this problem can find this thread, because there are tons of them but none suggested what worked for me:
Info:
HTC Incredible, 2.3.4, rooted but stock with crap apps removed
After attempting to clear the dialer storage (trying to delete all of my texts because my phone will lock up when trying to delete large threads, but that's a different issue), the process com.android.phone started force closing repeatedly. I tried clearing the data for the phone app, but pretty much everything crashed when I tried to (phone froze, notification bar disappeared, etc.). I tried toggling airplane mode and mobile network/data, but the options were greyed out. I tried rebooting and soft resets.
What finally worked was running "Fix Permissions" via ROM Manager (I assume it would work via CWM as well). The whole process froze eventually, with the notification bar disappearing and all that again, but the force close dialogs had stopped. I rebooted my phone and all is back to normal.
Hope this helps someone.
Your post does help.
I deleted phone stock app, because I have that dialer from go devs already...and the message pop up eventually.
Fix permission in recovery of CWM does work. Message gone ! But cannot call lolz....
I had the same problem with all of my custom roms I was trying on my Nexus S and I found the exact problem (after months) and how to fix it...pretty easy
The problem is the Stk.apk, just remove the Stk.apk from the rom (in the .zip file) or easier than going thru Winzip, just flash the rom do the setup and with ( I use Root Uninstaller ) remove it from system/app and you'll get rid of the problem
Enjoy
I tried all the solutions recommended and nothing worked. I called in to sprint and all i had to do was go to the dial pad and dial ##72786#
Hope that helps if anybody else is running into this problem.
Hi there, I'm having a major problem trying to fix this and I'm tearing my hair out!
I did a hard reset of my Alcatel One Touch 983, but I can't get past the setup wizard when I switch it on. I get as far as trying to log into my google account when I get the following message:
The application Setup Wizard (Process
com.jrdcom.JrdSetupWizard) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
There is no way I can skip the wizard, or get out of it - it just gives that message and when you press OK it goes right back to the start.
I've looked all over for a possible solution for this but no joy. I've tried to reinstall the firmware by using the one touch upgrade tool, but it says I already have the most recent version and won't do anything. I've downloaded a firmware, but there's no recovery menu function on the phone that I can use to install it.
I've also tried to get into recovery using cmd, but it says it cant detect the device. I've tried installing different drivers, but Windows says it already has drivers and also won't do anything.
Can any of you nice people help? It's driving me up the wall, and I'm about to throw the blasted phone through a window!
u may send an sms to the phone linking to third party launcher. open it thru playstore(of course need to have data plan or wifi). install it & open the launcher. u could get past the setup wizard at least but gonna have to use only third party launcher only. Next time u turn off the phone, have to repeat the same
Hey all,
I've been running Pac-ROM 4.4.4 for quite a while with hardly any issues, but I recently noticed some touch errors such as the home button and task button activate simultaneously when I only press one button. It sometimes takes a few taps before only the home button is registered. Also on the right side of the screen I can't pull down the notifications bar; that only works in the middle-left of the screen. Because of this, I decided to upgrade my ROM to the newest beta version of Pac-ROM lollipop.
Now my issue: the new ROM had issues with google store and services. Instantly upon booting up, youtube kept spamming my screen saying it couldn't run. I also had notifications for google play store, so I uninstalled both youtube and the play store (after clearing cache for a simpler fix). That got rid of the pop-ups, but I still couldn't access my google account. I browsed some threads and they suggested to remove my google account and clear cache for google services. This didn't fix the problem so I decided to flash back to the stable 4.4.4 and reinstall the apps I removed.
Here is where I foolishly realized I never updated my gapps to 5.x.x. Being too late, I thought I'd just flash the gapps and lollipop rom after getting things back to normal in 4.4.4. Unfortunately, I was never able to boot after flashing 4.4.4.
Now I am stuck in a boot loop, do not have debugging enabled thanks to the update (so I can't use adb), my recovery won't boot using power + vol down, and my computer doesn't even recognize my phone when using LG mobile support tool.
Other things that may help:
LG G2 ls980zve
TWRP 2.8.x.x
cannot access adb or fastboot
cannot access recovery
cannot turn on phone
updated lg drivers as of today, but computer doesn't recognize my device in device manager
followed these threads but couldn't resolve the issue:

Ask if I forgot to mention anything crucial.
Good luck figuring this out

Here's a guide that can help you.
i am sure that there's guides here on xda too.
That guide was essentially the same as the two links I referred to except one thing... It reminded me to reboot the computer after installing drivers! HAHA. Now it worked smoothly.
Such a simple fix, thanks!

Hahaha!! Happy that I helped someone!
I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy SPH-P500 Android ver. 4.1.2 Build JZO54K.P500VPBMB3 Kernel 3.0.31-929664.
It was never activated. I tried to have Ting and Sprint activate but both were unable to. One day it started downloading an upgrade. Since then every time I connect to Wifi it downloads and installs dozens of apps. I have uninstalled them and have done a factory reset 3 times. I have installed Malwarebytes but it doesn't find any malware. Nothing I do seems to stop the downloads. So many apps are downloaded it makes it hard to use the tablet and it slows it down. This tablet was rooted before trying to activate and I thought that may be the reason we couldn't so I unrooted it. I have tried to root it again but it won't root. I have tried to boot into safe mode but it doesn't work by holding the power and volume down buttons. When Ting was troubleshooting, they had me use the calculator to boot into the safe mode but I forgot how we did it. I think I may need to flash the factory rom but I not quite sure where to start. Please help!! I am just learning where things are on the tablet even though I have had it for a couple of years so please don't use too technical terms.
Thanks
this is done by google play

Thanks for your reply. Is this Google Play Store that does this? Sorry to be a noob but how do I get to parameters to disable this.
Thanks for your patience.
start google play (not wifi connected)
choose parameters option
regards
I have rooted the tablet with Kingroot and have uninstalled or disabled almost everything, but still have the issue. Everytime I connect to wifi, apps are downloaded and installed automatically. Does anyone have any suggestions? If I should install the factory rom, please direct me to where I can get the file and the directions to install. Thanks
OK
Thanks for all the suggestions. Nothing is working. Now when I turn off Wifi, after a second of two, it comes back on so I can't stop all the apps from downloading and installing. The apps use all my memory so if I try to do anything the tablet is slow and there is always some screen popping up. If I install the factory rom, will that get rid of everything and put it back to original? Doing a factory reset doesn't help.
