i dont know what is happening in my phone but the screen starts to work alone. this only happens sometimes. the phone haven't suffered any kind of accident. anybody has got the same problem? [emoji20]

I tried the search function but couldn't get much info on my issue to be honest, I'm on mobile so it was also a bit harder to try narrow it down.
I got the Mate 8 this past Friday and I've been trying to get the notifications to come up on the lock screen and can't seem to get it sorted. I just moved from an S4 with CM on it and even other Android phones have it where if say you get a WhatsApp message it will show up in a sort of card that you can expand or swipe away. How do I enable this because I'm obviously missing something here.
I read somewhere that it says you have to take the lock screen off, however I can't seem to do that, that option says it's either blocked by administrator or something.
Any help would be appreciated guys.
Unfortunately there's no complete solution for this, that's why I sold mine and bought a Samsung phone

Just search forum. there is a few solution for it. Notification issues for WhatsApp vanished.

Which one did you try? Did you make it system app or downgrade android system webview or disable doze?
I downloaded Android Web view, disabled doze, all I can do without root.

Uninstall webview updates, deselect auto-update apps in Play Store app.

A case maybe? Mine had the same issue during the first week of use. Later magically it disappeared. Maybe use a custom rom with some custom kernel? I've noticed that some custom roms have huge sensibility of those edges. And some barely have that problem.

Get a case, that's the only way to stop the problem. I hate this phone for that reason but I like it for the big battery and water proofing. Camera ain't to bad either.

Camera voice control issue on s8+.
If I activate it, device takes pictures by itself even without noise. I am forced to deactivate it. Anyone has this problem ?
If anything mine seems less responsive to voice than my s7e was. Have to say "shoot" pretty loud. Too loud for public spaces actually

In theory, it seems that an app is using the microphone which leads the camera to take infinite images.
check your background apps and permissions
try to run it in safe mode to make it easier

Hello everyone. Greetings from Brazil!
I am going through a very embarrassing situation with my Gear S3 Classic: Every time I walk into (or worse: out of) a store that has one of those anti-theft tag security systems, the systems beeps, like if my watch was a stolen thing. I believe it may be related to the NFC or MST interfering with the detection system, but I also have a Galaxy S7 with both radios enabled and never ran into any problems.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anybody have a clue on what may be happening and how to stop it?
I have already tried to disable NFC in settings but it won't stop it from beeping. This thing is really annoying...

That happened to me the other day in the mall and in some stand alone stores. I wasn't sure if it was the watch or the Note 8. I joked about stealing stuff on the way in the store.

I need to get into the Recovery Mode of my Xiaomi Mi TV 3s 55" (because I soft bricked it).
I found some instructions, saying to press either HOME+MENU or OK+BACK button on the remote during TV startup, but that doesn't work.
This TV was sold only in China, so it's hard to find some more information.
Anyone can help me?

Simply replacing the old (low) batteries in the remote with fresh ones, than the key combo worked.

Very strange, the remote was still working with the old batteries (e.g. turn TV off or on), but the key combo did work only with fresh batteries
