Hi guys, I get a mate 7 bought on amazon warehouse deals!
It detects signal after 10 minutes and let me send a couple of sms... but after a pair of minutes it starts to lose signal again for about 5 minutes... So where is the problem? Sims are working on other phone, I wipe everything 3 times, but still haven't a solution... Please tell me there is something I'm missing, I don't want to send it back....
try 2g or 3g/2g mode of network, I had similar issue with KitKat 4g enabled, it wasnt so on Lollipop with 4g. Well, now my phone doesnt see sim card at all and after trying to return to KitKat I've got a soft brick, so, be careful

Thank you, I have tried, it's not working... I have tried 3 different carrier, nothing change...
What about baseband? Maybe someone flash a wrong baseband: how can I check if I've installed the right version?

Ok guys,
I just bought a skyrocket today, unlocked it to Tmobile. Phone worked great for a while, then I rooted it using doomlords easy root method. The Phone restarted, ever since my sim is not working. I tried EVERYTHING. My sim is working in my brothers skyrocket, its not my sim card. My IMEI and everything else is visible, my baseband is visible. I tried everything I did a factory reset, I flashed to sky ICS successfully and still no luck.... I've been at this for 5 hours now, someone ANYONE please help me! What do i do?
Does your brothers sim work in your unlocked rocket? Maybe try odin back to full stock and see if it works

is your sim not working or your data not working ? Those are 2 different issues. Does it day invalid sim. Or no sim . Or is your data just not working
I've had a similar issue while running Sky ICS where it told me to insert a sim. Try flashing a t-mobile radio and see if that helps. I believe someone posted the t-mobile KL1 and the Telus KJ3 radio on one of the other threads that worked for me.
Did you ever get it working? My brother is having this same issue on a skyrocket I just sold him. Just says NO SIM. He tried flashing the t-mobile radio's but that didn't work, and is actually what caused it to start saying no sim.
Another thing...did your skyrocket ever show a yellow triangle after rooting? His didn't, and I thought they should show a yellow triangle at the startup after rooting like other samsung phones.

I never got a yellow triangle after rooting my Skyrocket. and I had that issue with the sim. What I did was delete the APN and redid the APN manually. If on tmobile let me know, Ill get you the APN or you can google it. Also, I use the Juggernaunt 5.0 ROM...worked like a charm. BUT..I did notice that Im not gettin full 4g speeds as I thought...but faster than edge!
So you had a No Sim issue, but it resolved by deleting and manually setting the APN? I'll try that tomorrow, hope it works.
So I fixed the no sim issue...I changed the radio...and it recognized sim but still wouldnt let me set the mobile network and connect to any network (no calls, or internet). So I tried Juggernaut with a tmobile radio...had to manual select tmobile as the mobile network...super poor internet speeds...only 2g.
So I adjusted the bands (dial *#2263#*) to WCDMA 1700, and now I get full 4g speeds (~3500 kilobits per second from a speed test). Woohoo! Thanks everyone.

I have a Tmobile Nexux S i9020t and all of a sudden it will not connect to Tmobile network. I pulled the battery, Took it in to Tmobile for a new sim card, and I reflashed my Rom (XenonHD). Still no service. I swear i have the worst luck with phones. Anyone know what else i can try?

I was thinking that but never flashed a radio before. Plus I had made a back up of the rom right after flashing went to that and still no service. I figured that would of been a state in which it worked. Do you even know which radio works for this rom?

Hey ppl, whenever I change my OPO in 2g only Mode, it does losses is connection totally, like no signal at all, but as soon as I change my network preferences to either 3g or LTE, I do get back my signal... I'm currently running CM12S version YNG1TAS213, rooted, bootloader unlocked... I'm having this problem since last week, as a result of too many flashing... I'm really thankful if someone could help me out... I tried multiple flashing, I called up OPO customer care, they told me to use oxygen os to have this issue sorted,but still the problem persists... Kindly do help me out ppl... (sorry for my ebullient, as is not my first language)

Hello everyone!
I've started playing a bit with my Xperia L as I use it now as my backup phone and wanted to customize it a bit (tried several roms, rooted it, installed a recovery, tried some more roms... )
I went back to stock rom recently because I wasn't sure I'd be able to use it with my smartwatch, but ever since I went back to stock my phone can't pick any signal from any network!! I tried several sims but to no avail... tried flashing another stock rom from xperifirm but no success either.... same thing when I tried through pc companion.
The phone is wotking fine each time EXCEPT for the network! also, I had troubles entering flash mode recently, no matter how long I would press the vol-down button
Any help would be greatly appreciated please~ would be a shame to trash this otherwise very good phone!
PS: excuse my English I'm not native ^^'

No, I haven't unlocked the bootloader actually, so I didn't get to try custom roms. Really interested by serajr's roms though but I'd rather fix the issue with signal first

First try the SIM card on other phone
If it works put it back on your phone and check out if the IMEI is available
Type *#06# in dialer
Insert the sim card with a tiny piece of paper on top of it so it doesn't move. I had a similar problem and this fixed it.

Ok so the SIM card is working, tried it on another phone, no problem. I checked the IMEI after putting it back in the xperia L and it's available too.
Also, @stuckbootloader, tried your fix too but to no avail :/

Hi mates, I got the phone from a discount shop, it was flashed with a LL 5.0 version.. after flashing some experiments with unsucessful baseband I 've found the solution. Pit the file and install the latest MM QD1 stock.. then I installed TWRP and flashed ResurrectionRemix 5.8.5 for G900P spr of 29/9/17..
the phone worked correctly since today, then it recognizes the simcard but no netwok signal. Three days ago I updated to the latest RR, which doesn't more report thwe spr version.. they ask use now KLTEDV, I suppose it created the problem.
I wiped all and flash again the stock rom, but no baseband, what can I do?

I had that issue after some months of getting my S5, my modem burned out and they had to replace the device. You may want to see if a repair shop can take a look at it.

I was rooted with either PAC or Cyanogenmod. It started out with a weird issue of my time being off because when I lost signal, the time zone would change. Then my signal strength would weaken or drop all together, normally a reboot would fix it. One day nothing I could do would bring back the signal so I called my provider, they did some troubleshooting (update profile, prl and went in and reset the phone number) send another S5 over to see if that fixed the issue, which it did. I put my old S5 back to stock and it reset knox and I returned the old phone. I think part of that issue may have been that my qi charger may have made the phone too hot and burned it out.

Not sure if you ever got your S5 going. I just wanted to let you know that I went back to my S5 as my primary and now I am no longer getting LTE. I will try and troubleshoot the issue at some point, so far I found some posts saying to go back to stock, run all the network updates (PRL, activation, etc) then go back to custom if you have LTE on the stock. They also said to try a new SIM card. I also saw others who had to manually re-add the network settings.

Anyway my phone is dead about network, no question of LTE. As I know this Spring phones doesn't work on LTE because in US they use other frequencies, and this phone is supposed to work there only

UPDATE: I found this on the main S5 site:

It did not work for me, I think it is because I only have problems with LTE. I think it will work for your problem tho.
