I'm new to this stuff like flashing and updating roms, but now i can't get cwm recovery working on my phone after i updated it to VIBEUI_V2.8_1529_7.114.1_DEV_K50-T5. Before, when i tried that on previous versions it'd work but not anymore. I use adb to get my phone using cwm, but in the end i always end up in Lenovo-Recovery. When i try to downgrade my phone to previous version it doesn't let me to install it.
Edit: There is a problem with bootloader. Does anyone know how to unlock it?
2nd Edit: If you go to the updates stuff you can choose more stable version, downgrade it to VIBEUI_V2.5_1524_5.955.1_ST_K50-T5 which allows cwm recovery and rooting i think.

Hi I'm new on XDA am just saw 4.4 custom rom for my Note 2(shv e250l) few days ago which mean it's Korean model but when I'm trying to install a custom rom then phone will not able to start even Twrp recovery has no model of this kind of note 2
I've also try the CW recovery but it's not useful for me

I'm new in the world of android rom and root!
I have a Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 (S6500XXLK2) and I want to root it to try to install a kitkat rom.
I followed many different methods to root it but none with success.
I'm starting to think that there is an hardware problem becuase I'm not able to connect the device to kies, neither to odin. If I use Kingo root it doesn't recognize it.
The strange thing is that if I connet it to my linux pc I can connect via usb and I am able to access the device as a memory storage.
Any ideas?

I have a rooted Galaxy SIII that runs on a custom rom called [ROM][I9300][5.1.1] Temasek's UNOFFICIAL CyanogenMod 12.1
I wanted to update to a newer build of the rom as it doesnt support OTA Updates
I had done this many times before through Rom Manager Premium/Pro
I flashed the rom as normal through ClockWorkMod Recovery and it installed successfully
After trying to reboot my phone it startet to bootloop on this Screen

GT-I9300
I cannot access Recovery but i can access Download Mode

so I have a Verizon galaxy s5 (SM-G900V) running lollipop 5.0 with the OA8 kernel. it has Safe Strap installed, but only runs with the NK2 kernel flashed to it, and the safe Strap app will not run(it says safe strap has stopped when i try and run it). i want to flash the custom ROM, Resurrection Remix, to it but it needs CWM recovery to work(i think), also i think it might need to be on Kit Kat 4.4.x in order to flash properly. and because it is Verizon the boot loader is locked. i have seen tutorials for my phone mentioning i need to unlock my boot loader, but never how to do it. i have also seen tutorials on flashing CWM recovery to my phone, but no mention of unlocking the boot loader witch to my understanding must be done to flash CWM recovery. how can i get Resurrection Remix on my phone from its current state.
what i have dug up so far :

i have samsung galaxy s3 sch-i535 (verison) running on 4.4.2 android, i want to install a costum rom (cyanogenmod 12.1)
but as you know i first have to install a costum recovery.
the problem is i can't install a recovery by odin (i tried rom manager but when i go in recovery mod i find this: system software not authorized by verison wireless has been found on your phone)
i think that rhe reason of the problem is: the bootloader is locked.
so please help me guys.
