Hi,i own an THL T100s for a year now..i flashed many roms in my phone over the year from needrom and never had a problem...its benn a couple of months that iv installed miui on my phone everything was working perfect...but sudenly my phone was dead...i tried turning back on and was working for a couple of minutes and then off again..i tried to flash another rom throu recovery mode cause i had a back up in my sdcard but stucked...anyway when i came home i tried to flash with a new rom with flashtool and since then its keeps telling me tha dram failed...i dont know what to do...i sent back to china and they told it need to change the motherboard....can anyone help me please?

If you were recommended to swap motherboard, then that is your only option.

Hello,
i gave my phone to service 3 weeks ago because my Power Button doesnt worked anymore. Yesterday i got my Phone back and they said they changed Mainboard and i have a new IMEI. So since ive got it back i cant reflash ginger baseband which i had already on the Phone before i gave to service. Progress ends at 0% with EBL error.
Can anybody help me??
You could flash V21a (can be rooted) or V21b. They are both gingerbread ROMS:

It will probably invalidate your warranty though if your phone isn't a European open model.
Hmmm the same thing happened to me with the power button before christmas and they replaced the mainboard. I seem to remember also have the same problem flashing the baseband but i got it to work eventually. I cant remember exactly what i did but i think it had something to do with the drivers on my computer and that i had to start from scratch. It worked eventually so dont give up. Try reinstalling all the computer software and then try reflash.

Well it just happened the unwanted.
After an unsuccessful upgrade to 20E I'm left with a bricked phone.
My phone is an European version (p920). I've tried all procedure described on this forum about how to get him back to live but all ended into a failure. The bin methode gave a partial "success" but at the end it made things worst cause it messed up my baseband and now it doesn't have a GSM network and there's no IMEI.
Well I tell you how all these happend.
A couple a days ago I was having 21A installed which I ended up rooting it in order to try some custom roms. I have tried a couple of them but at the end I was having some troubles with my wifi connection so I decided to revert back to 21A or just install another once using the kdz update method.
It was while upgrading to 21D that I got a connection fault and I had to detach and attach the phone. First I though it would be a cable though I changed it and I started all over with the provided cable from LG but always with the same results. As a result the phone didn't power up. I founded later that it powers up only when the wall charger is attached.
After many tries and after reading how to solve this issue I gave it a try trough flashtool with a bin file of 20E I downloaded here in the forum. I tried several times but after 95 seconds the upgrade just fail, well it never really got further. I also tried to flash a GB baseband and I remember once it got up untill 75 seconds of progress and the I got and ERROR. I remember the same happened when the first leaked GB rom came out and you had to flash the baseband separately using these method.
I can't get the phone into recovery mode. I ran out of button combination don't work. I read that some other people were having the same issue and they haven't found a fix yet.
Sorry for the large story but I wanted to be clear with it.
Can someone point me out how to solve this or just come with some ideas.

It worked for me for about 3 different types of bricking, even though it's very tricky and frustrating to get it to enter emergency mode correctly. However, when it does, it feels like a better way to flash a rom in my opinion. I prefer this method when installing a new rom.

Thanks for the links man. I was using old driver and that was causing the constantly connection failure. I download the new USB driver trough the LG Updater app ( Recovery Phone) and installed them. I disabled the LG Android USB moden and started the upgrade procedure with a full success.
I've crazy for about three days. Now time for a bier.

So I got a quite annoying problem and I already spent quite some time searching the forums and google without results. Either the solutioins didn't work or the cases I found were unsolved.
Anyway, here is the story.
I have a xperia tipo (st21i) and I rooted it and unlocked the bootloader and flashed several kernels and roms to find the one I'm most comfortable with.
I used: CM 10.0, paranoid android, super jelly bean and performa v4 in case this is of any interest.
I decided to go with cm 10.0 and it worked fine until after one reboot suddenly my SIM card was unrecognized and it said I should restart the phone with a valid SIM card. I flashed different ROM's and went back to stock now but the problem persists. I really ran out of ideas and since I'm not really skilled and rich of knowledge beyond the point of flashing and the rough structure of android I'm a bit helpless here.
Any help is really appreciated and thanks in advance

This happened to me aswell, but it was a while ago, when I wasn't even rooted yet. Went to the shop to ask about it from them and they said SIMs can go outdated or something.. They gave me a new one and it was fixed. But if you decide to ask them about this, make sure you are on stock ROM and locked bootloader, also unrooted. Because if not, your device isn't under warranty, and they can blame it on that

So you are saying it's due to my SIM? It still works perfectly fine in my other phone (a samsung galaxy xcover s5690). The phone was used when I got it and I don't have any receipt or anything so I don't have warranty on my phone anyway right? Should I still visit a shop?

about making custom roms works tipo dual by making it 1 sim not 2 well its ok with me so i used it and all was perfect
custom rom - working gsm - fast - smooth like i dont need anything else
but yesterday well my annoying gf was spamming calls while i was sleeping so i turned airplane mode On
then after i wake up i turned it off and suddenly the device can't recognize the sim any more the same problem this dude got
so i tried everything like tryin to swap the sim place - installing new rom - restore my old stock rom - hard reset - testing the sim - so i tried installing the last update stock ftf which is 11.0.A.6.5 i think it's like this using flash tools anyway it worked and the problem is solved now the phone is workin with no problems u should try it

I tried other phones aswell, it was working on them, but not on my phone. Weird, but yeah, I suggest you go visit them at the shop, they can probably help you out.

I just flashed this rom (Lenovo Offical English S123 ROM (v.2.3.5a) ) on my device but my after rebooting the screen turned messy but rom works ok, i tried many roms and flashtool version but not worked.
Do you have any idea?

No this is the first time happened to 2 of my phones, the first time after flashing new rom when it turned on my device this happened and remaining all time.
I think flash tool damaged the GPU, what do you think?
Hello guys, I had slimkat on my p5100 8 gb and it was on. I gave it to my sister that gave it back to me after a couple of weeks with annoying process has stopped msgs that never go away. So first I tried to wipe everything using twrp 2.8 but that didn't change anything even if wiping was successful but didn't even softbrick the tab. So I tried to flash cm but that didn't work neither giving me an error on twrp .. final thing was to flash the stock that took 2 hours to be flashed and after giving me success on odin and rebooting I keep having slimkat with the same annoying msgs and same settings basically like I didn't flash anything. While I was trying to flash the stock I tried also to add pit file but that didn't change the situation .. any help ??
Emmc bug, plenty of tab affected, needs motherboard or chip replacement. only ways out.
any guides on replacing the emmc ??
on some devices it helps to update the faulty emmc firmware (16GB Tab2), i know someone from austria who could update it for you
