Basically a few days ago my battery died and when i turned it on in the morning the WiFi wasn't working, it keeps saying "Unable to scan for networks". This has happen'd before but it always kinda fixed itself. I've tried everything i could, Factory Reset, searching all over google. Nothing has worked so far. I also found out that i can't even turn on my Bluetooth, it's just stuck on "Turning on..." . Can't root my phone for some reason, can't even unlock the bootloader. Pist. Any ideas?
Root your phone. Change the OS or ROM. It will work.
send a pic of your bootloader screen, before that i cant help

I have a TMobile LG MyTouch 4g, E-379. I had originally had CyanogenMod 7 on it, but had GPS issues of not connecting, losing signal, etc. Tonight I found a fix for it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12976312&postcount=1579
I applied this fix, and received 2 errors during the 2 similar "If" steps, saying that there is no space left on the device. I rebooted the device, and the GPS was automatically turned on. I noticed I also had no service. I waited a couple minutes, and nothing. I've tried turning airplane mode on and off, trying to scan for networks, and turning on 2G only, to no avail.
I went into recovery and recovered the image I backed up before this fix. Still no service, and GPS was still on automatically. I went back and recovered an image from March, still the same. I got desperate and ended up installing stable CyanogenMod 9 (which I'm enjoying so far) but still the same issue is occurring.
What in the world did I do, and what can I do to fix it? Google and searching the forums have brought me nothing, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I put it back to the stock ROM and noticed an icon at the top indicating a SIM card error. I dragged down the menu, and in big letters, it says "SECURITY ERROR"
Hrm. Anyone? I'd hate to have to warrant this out.
Hello,
A friend of mine got a problem with his galaxy tab. The WiFi button doesn't turn on. When you try to turn on the button, it gets greyed out and there is a message saying: "Turning on..." After 5 seconds the button turns OFF again and this goes on and on and on.
The WiFi used to work properly for about 1 year, but now it acts like this.
It is definately not a router issue, because all other defices work fine with wifi on. It also doesn't turn on when I appoach a different router.
Then I rooted the tablet using Odin, but that didn't help.
I read through several forums and people with the same problem did a factory reset, but that didn't help either.
Anyone that could help me please?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. I'm talking about GT-P5110, using Android 4.2.2 and build number JD39.P5110XXDML1

Hi Team,
I bought Huawei Honor 6 yesterday and whenever I am trying to switch on wifi, it says "Turning wifi on" and it get stucks and never actually turns on. Have tried rebooting several times. Reset to factory settings as well but all in vain. Please help. Really disappointed as it was a brand new set. Just FYi, wifi did work for couple of hours.
How to get this fixed?
Well, it seems to be a hardare problem, if the reset didn't help. I think you should return it.
Hi all. I have a weird issue that after Googling it doesn't seem anyone else has had.
The issue started earlier today, in the morning. I was using my phone on the WiFi and it was working phone, then my phone crashed, restarted itself.
I noticed it wasn't connected to the WiFi, went to the WiFi settings and where it usually says the list of networks it said "Turning on WiFi" and the slider at the top was greyed out so I couldn't turn it off.
I tried airplane mode and that didn't help. But the phone was working fine on my mobile data so restarted.
Now the weirder part starts. I basically have an issue where, if I turn on the WiFi, my phone crashes, or doesn't act like it's turning the WiFi on.
Even going Settings and then pressing on the WiFi option freezes the phone.
The problem started when I was still using 4.4.4 however since the problem developed I've used my mobile data to download the updates and now have 5.1.1 I think.
The problem persists even after updating to the most recent version and doing a factory restore. The phone is currently completely stock with nothing downloaded on to it. All I did is go through the first time setup for the device.
The WiFi currently is off, and the phone is working however it won't connect to my data, it has the signal bars and then an ! instead of a 4G icon.
If I try to turn the WiFi on it crashes the phone.
The phone is still under warranty so I plan on contacting LG on Monday however it's currently 3:34 AM on a Sunday so I have a day until I can call them and was hoping for a solution in that time.
Thanks in advance. I have the phone to hand so anything you want me to test I'm able to.
There is some information I didn't type as I don't know what is important was trying to avoid a wall of text so if you have any more questions I'll answer I best I can.
Thanks for reading, I hope you can help!
Hello all,
Here are the specs of the trouble phone:
Pixel 3a XL
Android Version 11
Kernel 4.9.232-ga8a0fbc4fb8e-ab696031
So yesterday I dropped my phone a little too hard and the screen stopped working. No damage, just would not turn on. I've replaced the screen myself quite a few times so I thought the internal connection had disconnected. I reset the connection but it didn't seem to fix it, so I took it to a phone repair shop. They did a diagnostic but told me they couldn't work on the phone because some of the graphite coating on the phone interior was scraped off (I accidently did that a preivous time when I was replacing to screen). They told me that the graphite was needed for connections and the motherboard might be broken so they wouldn't test any new screens and I should just recycle the phone?? mind you the phone was still working, vibrating and making noise so that didn't make any sense to me. I thanked them for nothing and left the store.
I tried to reset the screen connection and whatever they did to diagnose my phone actually made the screen work again. I think it was some kind of reset, I noticed all my app preferences were gone and my lock screen changed but I still had all my apps and such. Everything seemed to work except that I could not connect to my WiFi network. Upon entering the password and attempting to connect I am returned with a "failed to connect to network" pop-up immediately. It doesn't seem to be trying to connect at all, it just immediately fails. I can still see all the wifi networks around me, and I can connect to LTE. I can't figure out what is wrong, I've gotten this error with multiple different WiFi networks, cleared the wifi settings, tried it in safe mode, restarted; all have had no effect. I even tried a wifi app and it just returned "failed to connect, enable and disable wifi and try again", which does not change things either.
I noticed that my google play update still shows October 2020, and says I need to restart my phone to finish to update. Restarting has no effect though. I think the restart was pending when I dropped my phone, so the repair store's diagnostic may have messed something up with the update. Should I do a factory restart worse case? I can't figure out if this is even a hardware or software problem, the antennas should be fine if I can still detect WiFi sources but I don't know. Any ideas?
