[Completed] Yu Yureka Bricked Don't Know Soft or hard bricked "IN WARRANTY" - XDA Assist

Hi All,
current status of phone - In warranty, Not working, stucked into Yu LOGO bootloop
Last OS: CS12 - lollipop updated by OTA
How it happened:
1) First I rooted the device, and was using it, no problem. CWM was there.
2) tried to install MIUI v6, via cwm - install zip
3) It was installed and but restarting on every step - like in intial setup itself it restarted 3-4 times on every button click.
I was even able to see home screen of miui, but when i clicked on anything it restarted.
3) have taken nandroid backup through nandroid app, but can't locate in files of internal storage through CWM menu
4) till now cwm was working, I tried to install cynogen official CS12 from the support page of cynogen.
5) several times wiped partition and cache, tried to install CS12, error came " installation aborted" just after few seconds.
6) then to reset i tried flash tools from xda itself, in which batch file was there - in that cmd window hardly shows for a second.
somehow i tried to see atleast what message is displayed on CMD - I saw "error unale to mount *.img" like various names of file and then cmd exited.
7) After few tries I suddenly observed that my phone was stopped going into CWM mode.
8) when connected to usb cable phone goes to fastboot boot mode after 3-4 seconds automatically no need to press any volume up button. Phone is not vibrating when i click the all button to enter CWM recovery mode. it again goes on restarting and showing the yu logo.
9) I have called YU care, I but i know they will not respond me for another 10 days and after several follow up it will end up in something after 1 month or so.
10) till that time if someone can help me in reviving my phone back, it will be very helpful.
Anything needed just let me know, I will post screenshots and links if needed about any thing written above.
Please help me!!!:crying:

[Q] HELP! International Version Samsung S3 won't boot up

Hello guys, my apology if I open this thread somewhere. I just couldn't find a perfect thread to post about these issues. My International Version Samsung Galaxy S3 won't boot up after I root it with ODIN. The rooting was fine as I was able to download some apps in google play for root users. Eventually, I restarted my phone & there you go! It didn't boot up, all I see was a samsung logo & then my phone dead again. I got into recovery mode(home + power + ctrl up), i tried 'wipe data/reset factory" but still to no avail after I reboot my device, it will take me to the start up set-up of samsung (just like when you unbox your phone, the set up message shown when you 1st turn on your phone) but I stucked on the language, after I select language, my phone hangs & dead again. I can get into download mode too (home+power+cntrl dwn) but it will just stuck me to "downloading... do not turn off target'. Can somebody help me with this? I read about flashing & stuff but I just dunno how to do it though I tried but using SGS3 toolkit but again I am stuch at waiting for debugging... ANy help is appreciated.. Thanks

[Q] help fix my stuck boot loop after trying everything!

Hi guys,
I have spent 2 whole days searching XDA for a solution to my issue with Samsung tab 2 10.1 GT-p5100 3g on vodaphone uk (although i think its unlocked).
I have tried so many ideas from the forums but now at a last resort i have given up looking and conceded defeat. PLEASE HELP.
Device info
Samsung tab galaxy 2 10.1 GT-p5100 3g
Direct issue:
stuck in boot loop, it turns on and goes to the Samsung really noisy splash screen then reboots - AFTER trying to install a stock Samsung ROM that i suspect might not have been good. (apologies this is a project i am revisiting from a few months ago and i cannot find the ROM). It appears to not have an OS on at all now.
I have tried using ODIN to put this on: EUR-P5100XXDNA1-20140602152511 which fails at about 50%
I have also tried using sd card from boot recovery to use these zips:
ASerg.2.P5100XWALE2.NoWipe.zip and samsunggt-p5100.zip from the forums
nothing has worked and i have been stupid and not fully documented everything i have done plus left a 2 month gap between working on it.
Any way all i want to do is take this expensive paper weight and put an image that will work so my daughter can play angry birds!
please point me forward although i have been through the forums at least twice.
thanks

I have had bootloop many times, once I couldn't escape it and instructions on this website helped me:
h t t p://howtorootmobile.com/stuck-in-android-boot-loop-tips-to-fix-recover-from-boot-loop/.
If instructions below won't help, try to find stock ROM from another source, like
h t t p://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-P5100
and flash it with ODIN.
If ODIN fails, maybe this link can help:

Fix Android Boot loop issues on Stock Android
Step 1. Remove the battery from the device and wait for 30 seconds and then put the battery again on your device. If your phone doesn’t has the remove bale battery like Nexus 4, then power down the phone and keep it powered off for 5 minutes. This will turn off your device permanently.
Step 2. After that Boot your device in to Recovey Mode. Samsung Users use Volume Up+ Home + Power keys. If you have the other Android device then do a Google search how to enter in recovery mode.
Step 3. Once your android device is in Recovery Mode, Go to the “wipe cache partition” option and select it.
Step 4. After that go back to the recovery main menu and reboot the device by “reboot system now” option.
Step 5. If the device again stuck on Android Boot Loop pull out the battery again and repeat the above steps. This time also “wipe data/factory reset” and then reboot device.
Now your device will come out of the Android Boot Loop and at the first time the device will take some time to reboot.
Fix Android Boot loop issues on Rooted with CWM Recovery Android
Step 1. Follow the Above guide (Fix Android Boot loop issues on Stock Android) Step 1 and Step 2 on your device.
Step 2. Once your Rooted device on recovery mode, go to the Go to “Advanced” and Choose “Wipe dalvik-cache”. After that go to “Mounts & Storage” and choose “Wipe /cache”. In the end go to the main menu of recovery and Reboot your phone.
Now the Android Boot Loop should be gone now. If it still persists, do the following on your device. Go to “Mounts & Storage” and Choose “Wipe /data” after that Choose “Wipe /cache” and now reboot your phone.

[Q] DG900 Boot loop

Hello,
I have just got the new Doogee DG900 & I might have ruined it already.
I was trying to be sensible & create a backup of the stock ROM. I followed directions to create a custom recovery using MTK droid tools & SP flashtool but now I think that I am stuck in a boot loop. The screen constantly flashes from black to grey but will not load.
By holding power & volume up I am able to get to a menu that gives me a choice between recovery, fastboot & normal boot but it will not let me select one.
I have e-mailed doogee requesting a ROM that I can flash but no reply & it seems to be too new for any firmware to be on the internet.
Any suggestions?
There has been a bit of a development in that I tried flashing the boot.img & recovery.img that I made when trying to make the backup & after I unplugged it from the computer I was able to turn it on & it booted normally.
I got a message saying the storage was corrupted (not the external SD card, which I had already removed) and would I like to format it. It did nothing when I said yes.
No problems are solved however because when I try to turn it off it just goes straight back to the flashing grey & black screen. The only way I can stop this is by flashing again.
This happens when I try anything that involves turning it off - ie. telling it to restart or trying a factory reset from the settings.
It does mean that I can access it from a pc if there is anything useful I can do to affect it from there.

I've bricked my phone? I am unable to go to recovery mode! It is in reset loop! :v

I had installed xposed with some popular modules like Android L theme, Greenify, Gravity Box and ifont.
Today I wanted to unroot my phone (due to some reasons) so I just unchecked all modules from XPOSED modules list and restarted the mobile. After restarting I wanted to reset my phone so I went to reset my phone and then the **** happened.
Now it goes to reset screen (for 2 seconds) then in logo screen (for 3 seconds), then again in reset screen (for 2 seconds) and again logo (for 3 seconds) and again reset screen..... it is in boot loop!!! but this boot loop is extra ordinary :v
So after waiting for some time I realized that I have done something wrong so I decided to remove the battery and then turn on the phone but still same problem.
I have backup of my phone so when I wanted to go to recovery mode I couldn't.
Whenever I press volume up/down (both) keys with power button it again goes to that reset screen loop (instead of opening recovery mode). So please tell me a way to fix this problem.
Any help will be appreciated!
My mobile is "Qmobile Noir i9".

**I was using stock rom.
***I have cwm backup in my computer.

ok I fixed the problem.
I turned off the device for two hours (the battery was removed too). After two hours I removed sd card and sim card and then turned on the device. The device turned on successfully!!!
The only problem I am facing now is xposed modules are still installed. The phone is reset successfully but modules are not uninstalled. My phone still have new font (which i changed with xposed), new boot animation!
I will now install the modules again and then uninstall them. I hope it'll work!

OnePlus One CM12S is stuck on booting, shows only CYANOGEN logo

Hi,
I bought my OnePlus One (64 GB Sandstone Black) in September 2014. Since I got the phone, everything was running very quickly & smoothly. I did not have any problems with it, so I was very pleased with my brand new phone.
I did not tamper at all with my OnePlus One phone and every time there was a new OTA update, I updated it with the latest version. Currently my OPO has the latest Cyanogen OS 12 OTA updates (CM12S).
Last Friday I used my phone and everything was running very good, as usual. I shut down my phone and went to bed. The next day, on Saturday morning when I turned on the phone, it started showing the OnePlus One logo (with the text "powered by android"). Then CYANOGEN logo appeared on the screen and nothing happened. I waited near my phone for half an hour and nothing happened, it kept showing the CYANOGEN logo. It's like a cycle that never ends. So now I am facing a huge problem with my OPO: every time I press the power button, my OnePlus One gets stuck while booting, showing only the CYANOGEN logo. :crying:
Please see picture "OPO stuck on booting - shows only CYANOGEN logo.JPG".
As I said before, I did not tampered with my OPO, I did not flash it, I did not installed any ROM, I did not installed a custom recovery. Also, I did not drop my phone, so it is in good hardware condition. Every time there were new updates, I updated it with the latest OTA updates. I did not have any issues after the updates, so I don't understand why now it gets stuck on booting (especially since before this problem appeared, everything was working great, as usual).
I read through the forums, the internet and tried to find several solutions, without wiping my data. Any solution that I found did not work and I could not fix this problem (OPO stuck on booting, while showing the CYANOGEN logo). After two days in which I could not use my phone, I removed my SIM from the OPO and now I am using a normal phone (only for calls and SMS).
After my OPO gets stuck while booting, showing only the CYANOGEN logo, I connect it to my laptop using the USB cable (the same one used for charging), but I cannot access my files. Before this huge problem appeared, I could easily connect my OPO to my laptop. Please see pictures: "Connecting my OPO via USB - Installing device driver software - Step 1.JPG" and "Connecting my OPO via USB - Installing device driver software - Step 2 - Failed.JPG". I updated the drivers, but it did not work.
Ever since I got my phone, I have never unlocked the bootloader or rooted or anything of that sort.
I have never even touched any fastboot/adb commands since I got the OPO, until now, when I have this major problem with it.
After reading the forums, I started my OPO in Fastboot Mode and used 2 commands with fastboot.exe (Please see picture named "OPO Fastboot Mode.JPG")
Results below:
******************************
F:\OnePlus One tools>fastboot.exe devices

(bootloader) Device unlocked: false
(bootloader) Charger screen enabled: false
(bootloader) Display panel:
OKAY [ 0.006s]
finished. total time: 0.006s
******************************
I do not understand why "Device tampered: true", since I have never unlocked the bootloader or rooted or flashed or anything of that sort ever since I got my OPO. I did not tamper my OPO, so "Device tampered" should have been false.
I also tried to use ADB, but it does not work. Please see below:
******************************
F:\OnePlus One tools>adb devices
List of devices attached <--- THIS LIST IS EMPTY, IT DOES NOT SHOW MY DEVICE, SO ADB DOES NOT WORK AT ALL
******************************
I want to save my media files (pictures, recordings, clips, audio files), my documents and messages.
For other suggestions found on the forums, I did not use at all, because I do not want to erase all data of the phone.
My OPO can boot into recovery mode (Please see picture named "OPO Cyanogen Recovery.JPG"), so I can see the Cyanogen Recovery menu, but I do not want to wipe all my data and do a factory reset. I want to first save my data and afterwards I can erase all data and reset my OPO.
Problem: my OPO gets stuck while booting, showing only the CYANOGEN logo. I wait and wait and nothing happens (today I waited for two hours, the logo is still there and the phone does not start).
I want to:
1) Save to my computer my files (media files, documents) and messages (SMS and chat messages, like viber and so on)
2) Solve this boot logo issue (OPO stuck on booting, while showing only the CYANOGEN logo)
Any help regarding this problem is enormously appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Bogdan
Well that sucks. You could try to install TWRP through fastboot and use it to mount the phone as a USB storage device, I think that could work.

Wait no, since your bootlocker is locked it's pointless.

In the Cyanogen Recovery Menu I clicked on Apply Update, the Choose from internal storage
In the 0/android /data/com.cyngn.fota/cache folder I found this file: cm-12.0-YNG1TAS17L-bacon-signed.zip
What should I do next? Doing this will help me fix the booting cycle issue? Or it will help to save my data?
In adition to this, I posted the same problem on a OnePlus forum.

On this thread, the proposed solution made by a user (biltoad Level: Gingerbread) will somehow help to save my data? Then I can do a factory reset.
Please find below his suggestion. What do you think?

alright i've got a working solution
download color os from here:
https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/rom-official-4-3-coloros-v-2-0-0_beta.79203/
and extract
and then follow the instruction here to set it up (dont flash yet):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-unbrick-oneplus-one-t3013732
the download cyanogen fastboot zip here
https://cyngn.com/support
extract the cyanogen fastboot zip to your extracted color os folder(replace everything)
download twrp from here : https://twrp.me/devices/oneplusone.html
copy twrp to the color folder and replace recovery.img
delete these :
8974_msimage.mbn
userdata.img
userdata_64G.img
after that you should start flashing
the download tool will stop and show red text(ignore that)
after that hold the power button for about 10 secs
hold vol down+power to boot to twrp, and start saving your data
edit : Tested
oh yeah, after you install twrp, flash this to unlock your bl http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54251992&postcount=1

Will help you with bootloop if is rom issue
Flash ota first is cyanogen 5.0.2
Your data is safe
The other suggestion from oneplus is little risky
You should after take backup to connect with pc and tranfer your backup to pc if you factory reset or unlock bootloader
You will need proper drivers for that
Check how enable twrp mtp storage for pc
Follow the steps one by one before try it .
Good luck
