Just a question. Why only support a couple devices?? This seems like a great app that would go well with all mid/high end devces

I also want to support as many devices as possible but the OEM somehow decided that they do not want to put effort in making the new camera API available when upgrading to Lollipop.

Sorry for my late reply. How does it happen as the image size of front camera is larger than rear camera? Have you check the settings in the photo resolution ?
BIG update 2.0:
- Record videos with full manual controls !
- Option to mute shutter/recording sound
- Exposure bracketing (pro)
- A better UI
I checked already.. even in the latest version it's the same file size from front camera is larger

Hi,
I make my presence again with the LG Camera App for all roms. It was not my work. All credits go to sefnap for modding the LG Camera app to work on all roms. It also has a lot of features like the Lenovo Camera App and one specialty is that this app has video light functionality too. Has a minor bug that the dual camera doesn't work but rest seems fine here. Hope you enjoy

From what i read even on LG G2 dual camera doesnt work for some (i do not need it anyway).
But Are magically 9 focus points working on this? Sorry for asking - i sold my S4 2 months ago, was waiting for LG G2 but now after i read a lot of things about G2 i finally decided to get S4 back.
Will definitelly try this out after my new S4 lands in - i only sold previous S4 because a lot of bad pics cause of bad focusing, but from what i saw the diff from G2s camera is not that much extraordinary than S4s. My personal experience with G2 was that it has batter pics when tapping the focus points on the screen to focus and then shoot - but generally for taking pics with AF was "same" result as S4.

NEW: LGCamera Port for Android 4.3 ALL and i9500/i9505
Hi Guys,
I have compiled the latest LGCamera App and its supporting depedancy libraries to make it work on Android 4.3 General ALL and i9500/i9505. This is a tested package and All the features are working as expected. Device to Device features might work or might not work.
"BSDgeek_Jake_LGCamera_Port_AndroidGeneric4.3ALL_i9500_i9505_CWM" to be Flashed from CWM recovery.
"BSDgeek_Jake_LGCamera_Port_AndroidGeneric4.3ALL_i9500_i9505_MANUAL" to be extracted to '/system' and manually set permissions to '0.0' (root:root) and '644' (rw-r-r). You might want to use "Root Explorer" to achieve this or your prefered explorer which has root capability.
NOTE: Before doing any modification to your device, please Remember to take Backup for your Device through CWM. Although i have tested this package thoroughly and found no issues BUT I am not responsible for any issues which might arise.

Great photo I was just wondering does is the image sensor in MXP a Sony IMXsomething unit?
Some people say that the moto camera app has too simple UI but for me the stock camera MXP is pretty great - CM snap camera comes pretty close though. Will try to make some night shots in the moonlight and with night mode

I think this is Exynos but I cannot be certain. Any application I use to check the specs comes back as "Processor Unknown"
In regards to the pictures, all I can say is the first few were taken in extremely dark environments and whilst I was pleased with the results when viewing on screen, when enlarged they are not fantastic.
HOWEVER I don't think I have ever used a camera on a smartphone as good as this in low light. In normal lighting conditions, the 6S Plus (my daily driver) seems better but this is without extensive testing, the S7 really shines in low light situations.
It's as great camera and I doubt anybody will have any issues with its performance.
In regards to the S7 itself, there is the occasional lag on the operating system however all in all it builds on last year and it's much smoother.
I've owned every Galaxy S device, and by far this is the best generation but anybody coming from an S6 will struggle to be excited. It's certainly not as fluid as a 6P, which I have owned too.

I would think because that is how most people actually take pictures when it is dark... So it is a real world test, not some theoretical/lab nonsense.

Really for a low light test you really shouldn't be using the flash lol.
Maybe so, but pretty much everyone I know leaves the settings all on auto, which usually uses the flash when it's dark.

The Honor 9 has a dual lens camera setup with 20MP and 12MP sensors. You will find that they have recreated the hybrid zoom system that was popular on the LG G6. There is also a big improvement in image and video quality over the Honor 8. Here are some picture I took with this phone.

The camera app on this phone is a lot of fun to use. There are tons of different modes you can shoot in, including Pro Camera mode which gives you manual control over all of your settings. Overall I really like this camera and it seems to be a solid improvement over the Honor 8.
Very solid indeed. I'm looking to upgrade soon.
