[Q] Calendar - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

Someone please help me I deleted the calendar files on my phone using titanium backup thinking I could just use the Google Calendar from the App Store but apparently I deleted a necessary file. I can't find the Verizon s6 system dump anywhere to get the file I need. I found one for some other variant and downloaded the file but it won't let me install the SecCalendar app on my phone it just gets to the end of installation and says "app not installed"

[Q] Delete Instant Upload folder in gallery

I have an Samsung Galaxy S2 running Android 2.33. I put on Google+ app and that was a mistake. It created a folder in my gallery called Instant Upload [with 70 pictures]. I would really like to delete the folder but I am not able and I don't know where the folder is kept. I tried searching with windows explorer and couldn't find the pictures or where the folder is on my phone. I went to Google+ site on my pc and erased the pictures there but still can't erase on my phone. Please help.
Even i also have the same problem, i am not able to delete instant upload folder as well as profile photos folder too from my SGS2 mobile. hi builder,
finally i found the solution for this, it sounds wired but it ll work 100%.
just follow the following steps, and before doing this i recommend u to take backup of all the data from your phone.
settings>privacy>factory data reset>check (format usb storage)>reset phone.
hope this will help you.

Thanks. It worked but it was a major pain. Google should have made it easier to get rid of. It is like using a bomb to get rid of a fly.

[Q] Learning Droid OS & APK Files

Hello, I am new to xda-developers.com and I am also new at messing around with my Droid OS and I have taken a particular interest in the APK Installation files for app programs. I have recently bought an app from Google Play, and I am trying to share the APK file with a family member. Whenever my family member tries to install the file he gets "Application Not Installed" error and yes "Allow installations from unknown sources" is checked. After doing some research I have come to the belief that maybe the APK file that I am trying to share is Copy Protected. Thus, I would like to get some input on this and if I am right about it, is there a way to remove Copy Protection from APK files? If I am wrong, could someone please help me figure out why the APK file won't install?
Use es file explorer I've never had a problem backing up apk files with it and never had issues with them not installing. However, when the app uses its most likely built in license check it may deactivate or bump back to a trial version.

[Q] Where are registered previously installed app in android mobile

Hi
I have installed an app and i have delete it, but when i install again the app remember it was previously installed.
I think there is a file somewhere on my phone with the name or something of the app. Anyone know how to find and erase this file ?
Even with a factory reset or when i delete app in my google account, the app remember it was previously installed.
Thanks for your help
what is the name of the that app? it seems that's a System app
Google keeps track of your installs and just factory resetting and uninstalling will not clear the apps folder on the internal storage. This has been changed in 5.0
Zelendel do you know where are the tracks, is it a folder or a file ?
Thx

Depending on the app sometimes it will make a folder in either data/app/data or storagecard/data.
In 5.0 this is supposed to be fixed to where apps will remove all their files and folders and not just the app.

By mistake deleted Download Manager for Google Play Store

Hallo,
I have a Gigaset QV 830 Tablet and rooted it a few month ago. With Tiatanium Backup (I think), I deleted accidently the Download Manager.
So now, Google Play Services do not work anymore. I think, it must be the DownloadProvider (or DownloadProviderUI(?)) akp file, which is missing, its not here anymore.. I don't know, where or how to get this file, so that I could install Download Manager again. Thank you in advance!
You'll have to find a stock based rom or someone else with your tablet that is rooted to extract the apk from. Once you have it, you will need a root enabled file manager to put the app back in the correct folder and set the permissions to 0644.
Hello,
thank you for your answerr. Hmm, I am only asking myself, where to find someony with Gigaset QV830 rooted Tablet, who could send me the apk file. I will take a look, ...
Do you still need that all

Calendar Storage

My phone is a Blu Pure XL and rooted.
So I guess I made a slight mistake with wanting to get rid of the stock Calendar app because I just disliked it. Maybe should have just disabled it or something instead. I did a factory reset on it and somehow or another the Calendar app reappeared again. But I am still getting the issue where it shuts down because of the Calendar Storage not being installed anymore (Whoops). I looked online elsewhere and cannot find any apk. Help would be nice! I have tried with reinstalling the app as well and that does no good, I am assuming because it has nothing to do with the app, but rather Android itself.
I don't know if there is just that part I can install through TWRP or something? I know there is an apk app in the Play Store, APK Manager Downloader I believe, that allows you to save apks onto your SD card to send to others. Maybe that would download the apk files from the Pure XL calendar app, then it could be uploaded to this page and I could download and install it.
Resolution!
I was able to find a link (download.apks.org/?apkid=com.android.providers.calendar&ver=5.1.1-981c9024fa&server=darkkiller) for Lollipop 5.1+ Calendar Storage APK. Somebody helped me out on Google+.
You need Link2SD and ES File Explorer and the zip file you downloaded from above (DO NOT UNZIP THE FILE)
I saved the zip to my internal storage, opened the zip in ES File Explorer, and installed the APK in the zip. After that you will have a pop up where you can install. So install the Calendar APK.
Once that has finished, head on over to Link2SD and you should be able to find Calendar Storage. Tap on that then in the top right menu select "Convert to system app". You will have to reboot your phone after after that completes.
This should resolve your issues!
If you are running 4.4.4 and need Calendar Storage APK: (download.apks.org/?server=12&apkid=com.android.providers.calendar&ver=4.4.4-a1d45e8141)
