[Q] I can't unlock the bootloader for Xperia tipo st21i - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Hello Community,
I hope you are well.
Would you please help me unlock the bootloader for an xperia tipo st21i
1st I tried the sonymobile method but this device is not supported.
2nd I tired the [se bootloader_unlocking_relocking_1.6] ,but I can't get the unlocking number after I write the IEMI 14 number , an error messege pops up => see attached pic
-The phone is GENERIC
-rooting status : Bootloader unlock allowed: yes
-The IMEI : 354807055894752
I am ready to provide any other details
Thank you in advence

You need to check if can unlock it. Dial *#*#7378423#*#*, go to Service Menu, Service info, Configuration, if you Rooting Status says: Yes, you can unlock bootloader. Go to sony mobile unlock page and follow instructions.
Good Luck.

I unlocked my XJ almost year ago with official method, I'll check what's changed.
Xperia M2 D2303 on K.K. 4.4.4
Edit:
Try with Flashtool.
You just connect your phone in flashmode (volume down + connect usb) press BLU button, then unlock.
Good Luck.

I tried this method, it didn't work :/ because I always have to put the unlock key in Flashtool :/
The unlcock key can only be provided by sonymobile , and sonymobile is not supporting this model anymore , which means i have to look for another way.
Thank you.

Actually, I just had the same problem 2 days ago - it turns out it doesn't matter which device you choose from the drop down list. Just choose a random one, then enter your email, and then follow the procedure after that. I tried that and it didn't work for me. If anyone tries and succeeds using this, head over here and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I guess sony pulled out Tipo from its supported devices, I unlocked mine through developer world website a year ago and successfull.

Hi guys, my computer can't find my Xperia Tipo when is in fastboot mode. any ideas?
I have alla the drivers installed

Just to clarify: the Tipo is not shown as a separate supported device, instead you can get the unlock code through the Aino page.

work on tipo ST21i?
Tried this on ST21i, flashing was hanging at 82% for a while, had to abort. BL remained rooted
Edited: Try this one . It's for miro but it worked. Returned to 'ROOTABLE', which was its original state

But funny thing is, The ftf which is provided particularly did not work, and this is working good.:cyclops::highfive:
I want unlocked botloader and I can't unlock it because my phone unlock allowed NOOO :'( the sad irony

No. Relocking boot loader only relocks the bootloader. That doesn't give us our warranty back.
If we have our drm Keys back, and the bootloader locked, then we can have our warranty back.
Drm keys can be backed up'd using TA. backup
E1 relock
to relock the E1 model, nothing more than Androxydes flash-tool + drivers are required.
using OP 's file - made for a different model than E1 (i.e. "Miro") - does not seem advisable.
I unlocked & relocked my E1 with F-T and PC-companion does not complain a bit.
or has anyone tested the OP's file with the xperia E1 model ?

Use the search next time.
It has been reported that the UnlockRoot tool works fine for Xperia E. Use that.

Pardon me if I've mistaken what the above sentence means!
It's also bloomin difficult to search for a device called "Xperia E" when any threads that contain the phrase "Xperia E Dual" also return :/
Oh, also, I have actually tried UnlockRoot and it does NOT work.
Thanks

Strange. Well, euhh, try Bin4ry tool, might work for you.
I know it works on some new JB Xperia devices such as Xperia Z, so therefore it might work for your Xperia E.
My apologies about the previous post, it was my understanding that it worked for Xperia E single, as I've read some posts somewhere that it did.
If you're willing to unlock the boot loader you can always flash a boot image with recovery (e.g. FXP213) and install the flashable Superuser zip.

Sony Xperia Tipo ST21i
tryin to help.. solved xperia e bootloop
Ah finally after the million times xda has helped me time to give something back....
first i bought my shiny new xperia e a week back..
used the official sony bootlocker unlock method (which ran smoothly) only to
find myself in a bootloop!
after a lot of exhaustive research i finally fixed it ...
first download sony`s superb "Update Service" its totally free a google search and ul get it.
next get the latest flashtool( androxyde.github(dot)io)
now ur going to need a locked bootloader for xperia e... incredibly luckily i was able to find this ( forum.xda-developers(dot)com/showthread.php?t=2212259 ) which is exactly what u need but for xperia e dual (which is not a problem at all.. its stable and works perfectly on single sim also)
now that u have alll this...
install flashtool.. put the ftf file u got in the flashtool/firmwares folder..
start ftool click the thunder icon.. flash mode.. select the ftf file .. click ok.. then unplug ur phone and boot into flash mode ( vol down key + usb cable insert)
now if all went wel lur phone has a locked xperia e dual sim bootloader..
now all u have to do is install update centre and update ur phone..
Peace.
Greetings,
I'm trying to unlock and root my friend's Xperia E so we can delete all the unwanted apps (e.g. Facebook), but I'm afraid that both of us have little experience rooting any phone. I did read bg.shishir's explanation above this post, but it simply confused me. Could someone please give me a clear walk-through on how to root the phone or how to delete the apps? I'm very much willing to learn, but there are a lot of terms/steps I don't understand, because the implicit steps are expected to be understood, which is I'm afraid not the case for me. I posted my issue here since it seemed to be the most relevant thread.
Sincerely yours,
ItsForAFriend

Please post a link?
if anyone is still looking for a easy root solution, check out SRSRoot (not allowed to post links yet)
it worked perfect on my xperia E (c1505) with LOCKED bootloader from Vodafone (Portugal)
just download it, install (make sure you also have adb drivers installed) and select "Root Device (All Methods)"
after that, a menu will pop up on the cellphone itself asking you to select which exploit (they got lord of the ring names lol) Gandalf worked for me.

[Q] Sony don't send me boot loader's unlock code

Hello, first time in this super forum, i have sony xperia j original with stock rom and last update; cause some lag and various stop and reset i decided to pass to custom rom; i followed the obvious site of sony for first step, unlock the boot loader ( my phone is unblock-able ) so continue with the form that ask me imei name and email...but...
Sony don't want to send me anything.....
Some ideas?

Unblock-able?????
Hello,
So you aren't getting any code from Sony? And what do you mean with unblock-able? That the bootloader cannot be unlocked? If that's the case, ofcourse you don't get a code from Sony! Your bootloader cannot be unlocked! How should they send you a code if you can't unlock your bootloader?
That is my interpretation of the word unblock-able, you're using... Maybe it means something else, so correct me if I'm wrong...
Kind regards and goodluck,

Trying for a month now to get the code for my arc s an xperia s and they just wont send it. Everything is checked and rechecked on bouth phones but there is is big NO from sony.
YES, the both phones have bootloader unlock status to yes. I guess they simply stoped and forgot to say it to everyone
If you are using Arc or Arc S , unlock Bootloader using EZ-Unlock App, beware since I am not responsible for bricked devices

You can unofficially Unlock the bootloader of Xperia C from here

"In your device, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu.

Sony Xperia Tipo [Unlock Bootloader]

Hello guys , I am trying to unlock the bootloader of my sony xperia tipo!
Sony Xperia Tipo does not exist on the list of the devices on Sony's website. . .
My device Rooting Status allowed to unlock bootloader but Sony does not want to help
1-2 years ago the site was different... All Sony devices were available to unlock bootloader with IMEI
Can someone help me please? , I really need to get my IMEI's code in order to unlock the bootloader :silly:
Same Problem
-Bump-
Well after a long fight i finally came to the part "enter unlock code" and then it's over.
I don't understand why Sony cancelled the Bootloader Unlocking-Support for this device.
But im pretty sure the superbrains here at xda can show us a way to unlock the Bootloader anyways (maybe without code, oder did some1 write a code-generator?)
There must be an unofficial way! (at least i hope so)
Best Regards,
Zockermike
[Solved]
LOL, I just solved it by myself:
Go to sonys unlock site, pick a device of your choice (meine worked with sony xperia mini or mini pro, dont know^^) and enter your mail.
They send you a link, you enter the imei and get the code. Now after you prepared your computer retarding to one of the endless tutorials out there
you put your device into Fastboot mode. Now care: Flash-Tool doesnt work, a simple cmd does nonentheless.
So you open your cmd and type:
Fastboot devices
if your devices appears here, you simply enter the copied comman you got from sony (they provide you with a full command line) and hit "enter".
After that, your bootloader is unlocked. You see how desperate i was, but it worked, LOL
Keep us updated
Best Wishes,
Zockermike
PS: Sorry for my bad english
