For now there's no way we can unlock bootloader because our device is using mediatek chipset..unlike others Xperia device which using Qualcomm chipset..
Just let Sony unlock the bootloader in the upcoming updates. ... u will get to know this in the same above menu where the status will become yes!

"In your device, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu.
Tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked."

There are different variants of Xperia C available with different S1 boot versions. Some can unlock the bootloader and some cannot.

Ok I know this a very common question and it may be annoying for some users but I'll be short
Is there a way to unlock Bootloader with Bootloader Unlocked Allowed: No?
I thought that instead of collecting info for other sites it can be better to ask here
Also, my Tipo is new security, 13w06
Please tell me there's a way :crying::crying::crying:

Well ... if you look here in the List of Supported Devices ... Both Tipo and Tipo Dual is supported. So, i'd recommend you just go about with the steps and try to unlock ...

Sorry but Sony steps say clearly that if I have "Bootloader Unlocked Allowed: No" you can't continue... It doesn't bother me to try, but my Tipo can get bricked, and that's not funny

Hello recently decided to unlock the bootloader on your Xperia L by Application EZ-Unlock, but ok I see similar output unlock the bootloader yes but I did reboot and since then . not want to come in flashmod or fastboot.HELP FRIENDS!
Why u tried unlock bootloader using this untested method? You have at least two method on forum How-To unlock bootloader:silly:. If really your phone has been bricked, u can only send to service(and pay - Unlock bootloader=lost warranty)
The phone does not lose the warranty and they said on the site that I am entitled to a new

After unlocking the BL,flash stock rom with Flashtool...
Sorry, didn't read last line. Please delete this post...
Hey guys, this question is been asked before also. http://forum.xda-developers.com/sony-xperia-c/general/unlock-bootloader-sony-xperia-c-t2852284
But, today i checked Official website of Sony for Unlocking Bootloader >> http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/ and found that the model is named into the applicable list of devices. But Configuration Screen says ' Bootloader unlock is not allowed' . and i have read here >>> http://www.informationlord.com/bootloader-unlock-xperia-c-possible-leaked-source-sony/ , that Sony will allow unlocking of bootloader of Xperia C in the next version, but the problem is that Sony will not update the Xperia C beyond Android 4.2 JB ,
now what to do?? shall i go with the unlocking procedure as the model is in that list of devices on the Sony website or keep believing that i wont get any update???
or is there any other secure way of unlocking the bootloader???
plz let me know..

You need to check if can unlock it. Dial *#*#7378423#*#*, go to Service Menu, Service info, Configuration, if you Rooting Status says: Yes, you can unlock bootloader. Go to sony mobile unlock page and follow instructions.
Good Luck.

I unlocked my XJ almost year ago with official method, I'll check what's changed.
Xperia M2 D2303 on K.K. 4.4.4
Edit:
Try with Flashtool.
You just connect your phone in flashmode (volume down + connect usb) press BLU button, then unlock.
Good Luck.

I tried this method, it didn't work :/ because I always have to put the unlock key in Flashtool :/
The unlcock key can only be provided by sonymobile , and sonymobile is not supporting this model anymore , which means i have to look for another way.
Thank you.

Actually, I just had the same problem 2 days ago - it turns out it doesn't matter which device you choose from the drop down list. Just choose a random one, then enter your email, and then follow the procedure after that. I tried that and it didn't work for me. If anyone tries and succeeds using this, head over here and tell me what I'm doing wrong.
I guess sony pulled out Tipo from its supported devices, I unlocked mine through developer world website a year ago and successfull.
Hi guys, my computer can't find my Xperia Tipo when is in fastboot mode. any ideas?
I have alla the drivers installed
Just to clarify: the Tipo is not shown as a separate supported device, instead you can get the unlock code through the Aino page.
Sent from my ST21i
I want to install a custom ROM and recovery on my Z3 but I can't find a way to unlock the bootloader. Even with the FlashTool it doesn't seems to work. I tried downgrading to an earlier version but everytime my phone gets bricked unless I use the last version available.
Thanks
Go to dialer. Type *#*#7378423#*#*
In service menu navigate to service info, configuration, and you will see a line that says "bootloader unlock available: yes" or "no"
If it says no then you will not be able to unlock the bootloader as it is factory locked to this state.
If it says yes then follow the Sony guide to bootloader unlocking Z3. They will email you the unlock code and details of how to proceed.

That's correct.
Unfortunately not all devices can be unlocked and there's no way to change that status.
