I am currently having an issue with my ASUS Zenfone 5 16GB model. I cannot boot the device fully. I am able to enter my custom recovery, of which i installed straight after updating to Lollipop, and i am able to enter Fastboot mode. I had encountered the problem while trying to repair a previous issue i had ( SLOW CHARGING) . people recommended that "wipe cache partition" , so i did this and i ended up in a bootloop. i thought that this would be an easy fix, as i have previously unbricked my phone using fastboot. Now the main issue , is that my PC and my laptop and brothers and sister laptop , will not detect the phone, even in ADB SIDELOAD. I am still able to use my custom recovery, but i cannot flash a new rom, as when i try , it says
"Cannot Mount \spare
Cannot mount \cache
Cannot mount \system"
any help would be very much appreciated

So I got my new Honor 4X not so long ago (only a few weeks). It's rooted, it's got Cofface recovery (thanks to the helpful people here in these forums), but now it's kind of dead.
I accidentally (on purpose) formatted my /system folder and now all I can do is play "recovery mode" on my phone.
If anyone has a Cofface back-up or a ROM that I could flash onto my phone, or has any idea what to do, that'd be great.
(neither ADB nor ODIN Downloader can detect my phone, but I can mount it as a USB via Cofface, and fastboot (somehow) detects it)
My phone is a Honor 4X Che2-L12, IMEI: Mod Edit. And I have done a lot of searching on the websies, but I'm still having trouble finding any ROMs (custom or naw) or anything that is fit for my device.

Hello Guys,
I hard bricked my Zenfone 5 ( A501CG ) while trying to flash CM 12.1 . hard bricked in the sense that my droidboot/fastboot got corrupted and I am stuck at Asus/intel logo when trying to enter droidboot ( using power + volume up),it is not proceeding further from there.
Now if you ask me, what all I have tried to recover my phone,I would say almost every thing posted on the internet ( so please don't ask me to try different button combinations to enter droidboot or any unbrick method using fastboot ).
There's only one way to recover my phone and that is to use xFstk/manufacturing flash tool/intel phone flash tool lite, all are similar and flash firmware,fastboot and android image into intel chipsets based phones.
They require files Fw DNX,ifwi,OS Dnx and OS Image to flash fastboot into your phone. I have got all these file downloaded from links posted in other threads but they are not working with Zenfone 5 (A501CG). My phone flash tool is going in loop while flashing ifwi after giving info " Firmware download completed. Continuing to OS..." (plz check attached log file and screenshot ).
Ok,So I tried flashing lenovo K900's ( also has intel coloverview chipset) Fw DNX,ifwi,OS Dnx and OS Image files and it got succeeded , but obviously it didn't work because these files doesn't belong to ASUS Zenfone 5 chipset.
Guys, I am desperately in need of files Fw DNX, ifwi,OS Dnx and OS image which are meant to be used with Zenfone 5 ( A501CG T00J) , I have already tried all the files which comes in asus official ROM which are inside ifwi.zip but they didn't work.
Senior members plz help.......I will be very grateful to you guys,if the I can recover my phone.:angel::angel::angel:

yes my pc see the device every thing is working fine, after "Firmware download completed. Continuing to OS..." the flashtool is going in loop,no downloading of OS.
My bootloader is corrupted and I can't enter into it.

Good morning to all of the bosses here and to everybody...I am also new in adventuring in custom rom flashing. Oh God, I just afford a zenfone 6 and quickly I decided to mod it with custom roms. I tempted to update it manually to lollipop and it was successful. Then I decided to downgrade to kitkat in order to unlock the bootloader. I was served on internet with 2 ota files(6.2.2.2 and 6.3.3.3). I flashed the file 1 with success but as for the file 2, my phone didn't finished the process and switched off itself. I turned it on and it directly went on recovery trying to finish the downgrade. When the phone tried to reboot it stucked on asus logo. I went on recovery and made a hard reset, but it kept stuck on the asus logo at boot. Now came the bad luck; I found tutorial on internet on how to unbrick zenfones. I precise that almost all the tutorials spoke about the case zenfone 5 and 6 are stuck on usb logo, but mine manifested itself in a cycle of 5 to 7 reboots before showing the usb logo and then turns off itself definitively about one minute after that usb logo, and I have to turn it on again for a new cycle again. So that bad luck is that I saw that tutorial to unbrick zenfone with a method using usb intelsoc and other tools I forgot the names. I installed these stuffs with success and my device could be detected ready for flashing. The files that had to be flashed are fastboot.bin, ifwi.bin, dnx.bin, osr dnx.bin...I flashed them successfully, but unlesse I get my phone on its usual asus droidboot screen, it ended up by a frozen intel inside logo. I tried to put it into droidboot or recovrey, but to no vail. The reboot cycle was still there. Then I saw a tutorial on zenfone 5 stuck at intel inside logo where it was said to add a file called ...fuse.bin. I tried to find one for zenfone 6, but I didn't find it...so...so...so I used that fuse.bin intended for zenfone 5 and flashed my zenfone with it. The flash wax successful but when the phone rebooted...BLACK SCREEN!!! With some vertical white stripes appeared. No image, but cycle of reboot continue without the usb logo this time. The phone is still detectable and I even tried to reflash the previous file without that bad fuse.bin, successful but screen is still black...oh God help me, oh my new phone, everybody here help me recover my phone please!!! The version of my phone is TW version...thanks in advance!

Im new to XDA and I do not know where to ask this so I asked it in Assist.
I have a oneplus 3 and no twrp recovery will work.
Currently I am running Freedom OS 1.7CE on my 1+. The only issue is that no recovery will work. Ive tried multiple versions of TWRP for the phone and none of them work. Flashing the recovery while in fastboot says it was successful with a time of about 0.5 seconds which seems too fast saying that when somehow it worked, it took about 0.8 seconds.
Ive soft bricked my phone a few times trying to get everything to work and everytime I had to use a full unbrick tool to reset all of the partitions on the phone.
Anyone else having troubles with TWRP on the OP3
Anyone have a solution for me because currently when I need to install something from recovery, I have to go into fastboot and boot from a twrp image which no longer works for me.

I have wiped completely my MX4 Pro (all tics. My bad) and now cannot restore. I had TWRP (custom MX4Pro version) installed, and wiped from that version. Once restarted, I only see MEIZU logo over black screen. Cannot start in recovery (if such, Meizu in black), bt recovery (Custom TWRP for MX4 Pro) should be somewhere as you are not able to "auto wipe" recovery using that custom recovery
If I connect in such situation my Meizu to my computer, I see MTP device, but nothing more. No folder to copy the firmware.
When I connect the phone in "off" state, nothing happens
I have a feeling I could contact with the device using ADB. Perhaps, even "reactivate" the TWRP and boot in TWRP recovery, as TWRP must be somewhere inside (I did not wipe recovery), but I have no clue.
Trying to contact using ADB (not 100% sure I am doing things correctly) seems there is nothing running in the telephone side. Wonder if there is a way to reflash.
Could anyone help me try to recover this piece of hardware. I was sooooooooooooooooo satisfied with it.....
