Hi everyone, i want suggestions guys, my opo's main camera focus is acting weird since last update, it was working great on 44s and then i updated it and the camera stopped working, cell phone showed theres no main camera attached to board, like camera app opened with front camera on by default, and there was no camera switching button. So i decided to deassemble the device thinking that it was some hardware issue, but everything looked fine in there, so i just disconnected and reconnected the camera sensor ribbon/connector to board just to make sure, and restarted device, canera came back somehow, but since then camera focus lock became horrible, anything out of 2feet range is blurred and out of focus, when cell auto focuses, theres a perfect focus point but camera locks its focus after that on blurred image, yesterday i flashed back to 44s and camera focus became a bit better, not perfect but way better than before, so now i think it is not entirely a hardware issue, something in camera firmware or drivers, can somebody help me on this issue please?
Same as mine after updating to lollipop.
guys please help saw something in the youtube about nexus 5 having the same issue fixed by tasker app running shell script. killall mm-daemon-camera tred but not working maybe some dev can help us use this method to fix the issue.
Hey guys, can you help me? My Samsung Galaxy S II's camera interface or the menus on the sides are stuck on landscape mode even though auto-rotation is off and the phone is held upright. When I turn off the auto-rotation, my camera interface is stuck on landscape mode but other apps such as messaging or browser aren't. And if I turn the auto-rotation on, my camera reverts back to portrait mode and works normally when you rotate it. I don't like having the auto-rotation turned on because it affects other apps. I tried clearing camera data and cache, even doing a factory reset but the problem won't go away. I also tried lots of calibration test (even the chihuahua thing from *#0*#) but it showed that my sensors work fine. Fortunately, the pictures taken by the camera are somehow oriented in the correct position. It's only the interface. But it's very disturbing to look at. My Samsung Galaxy S II model is GT-I9100G. Running on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. Anyway you can help me will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
I've got a leftover Galaxy S6 that I use in my workshop like an iPod to stream music and occasionally for pics or web search. I *really* like the pics this phone takes. Somehow, it has been my favorite for the longest time.
At some point (probably after an update) the camera started misbehaving. I open it up and it is focused like for a macro. I tap the screen where I want it to focus and it tries but doesn't focus. Sometimes I can trick it to focus by covering the camera or switching apps but I haven't found a reliable way to always trick it into focus.
Any ideas? Thanks,
Chris
Dies it make like a wierd struggling sound when trying to focus? Mine does that.
Hi guys,
Recently i have gotten this particular issue with my camera hope you guys can assist me or share with me on your thoughts of it.
My camera fail to either auto focus or I'm unable to manually focus when i try to take a photo below x5 zoom. I have attached an example with x3.5 & x4 zoom.
I have tried to replace the physical camera that i bought online however after replacing the physical camera, the camera fail to boot.. "Warning: Camera Failed" hence i have to change back to the 'original' camera in order to use it.
I read online that it might be due to latest updates that Samsung doesn't allow any physical replacement on their camera or motherboard?
What's your thoughts on about my situation?
