[Q] Oxyngen OS Max Headset Volume - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I've been searching for a way to increase the maximum volume for when listening to music using headphones (wired most importantly).
I noticed its lower than with Cyanogen and its annoying when i'm going out for a run and need my music loud.
I can find a lot of threads about it but not for the current android version / this phone/OS.
Could anyone help me out on this?
Would be greatly appreciated.

Low Volume?

Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if it's just me or the volume on the ring tones (mp3) is too low, in comparison with most cell phones? I have perfect sound with mp3 and the headset. But I think the volume of the ring tones are just too low.
I also think the hands free is a bit low too. Well, the speaker in the back doesn't help much...
Any thoughts? Suggestions? Something?
Can anyone help out on this?
Already tried the WOW SRS, and that doesn't affect ring tones.
Also tried to change the registry in HKey_Current_User\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring\InitVol to 7 (it was 5)
And also, I've read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=360650, from top to bottom and didn't find a solution.
Anyone?
I need some help here. Does anyone know how to solve this?

sound too loud

hi i ve searched this forum about this problem but no solution were found
like titel said, the sound of my touch pro is realy loud even with 1 bar...
is there a solution to lower the sound ?
i know with windows media player i can lower the sound to 5% but it use alots of battery, my phone will be empty in 4 or 5 hours..
so anyone help me ?
if you are looking for an mp3 player i use htc audio manager, should be able to find a .cab for this floating around. you can use its volume control in 5% increments while on lowest system volume increment. I had the same problem, losing my hearing heh.

[Q] Is there a way to lower the Max Media Volume?

Hey guys. I've been concerned about the volume I listen to my music to on my Nexus S lately. I know that my old iPod classic had a function that let you lock the volume below a certain point; I was wondering if there was an app or maybe a file I could tweak to lower the maximum media volume on my Nexus S. Thanks in advance for any help.

Voodoo control app, and also why not just lower the volume?

I always end up just knocking it above where I'm comfortable with it. If I lock it low somewhere else, I'll have more of a barrier keeping me from blasting it full volume into my ears (like I always end up doing as it is now). Thanks

[Q] Volume too loud any app to fix this?

Hi i own a HTC HD7 and when i play videos they are too loud even at 1. I tried searching for apps which can help but sadly no luck(I've tried sound enhancer). Can someone link me or recommend me to a working one which can decrease video volume even at 1. Thanks in advance!

[Q] [CM] [4G] Headphone volume to loud, DSP-Manager not working?

Hi @ all,
I recently purchased the Moto G and installed (after testing all functions) the newest Cyanogen ROM. I'm quite happy with the overall performance of the device.
One problem is still annoying me though: The volume of every type (ringtone, in-call,...) of the headphone jack is much too loud, even on its lowest setting, since I'm using very high efficiency IEM's. The DSP-Manager doesn't appear to work (does not request root access, no change in volume when activated)
I've countered some parts of this issue with the following steps:
-The music volume is lowered by the Poweramp equalizer
-The volume of all custom ringtones, notifications and alarms is lowered by 15dB via Mp3Gain on my rig. This doesn't really help, because now the volume of all custom sounds is too low without the headphones. I barely get up in the morning, but it is definitely better than blowing out my eardrums.
So the question is: How can I activate the DSP-Manager? Or is there another way to solve this?
Thx a lot
EDIT: Solved the problem by increasing the overall volume steps to 45 via modification of the necessary .jar file via this great guide (http://chrisdube.com/increase-number-of-volume-steps-in-android/). DSP-MAnager works, but only with media volume.
