[Completed] [Q] Phone won't load software - XDA Assist

Hi there!
I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 with Lollipop 5.0.2 I recentley rooted it and it worked fine.
My phone died due to insufficient battery. I charged it and when I powered it, booting worked fine, but then came popus saying SystemUI, etc stopped working.
I have tried booting into recovery, by pressed HOME+POWER+VOLUME UP but it still didnt work, even though it worked before this error/
My A5 can boot into ODIN mode just fine, but not recovery.
Can anyone please help?
Thanks in Advance
Ahmad Saleem

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. there is very little information about your phone on XDA. I would flash the stock firmware with Odin to get your phone working again. You can find the stock firmware at samsung-updates.com or sammobile.com

[Completed] [Q] Wifi doesn't turn on

Hello,
I've a wifi problem with my Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505). I had CM11 on my phone, but I don't like it anymore so I wanted to uninstall it. I followed this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477&page=346. I've installed the official stock firmware ''Latest lollipop 5.0.1'' with Odin3 v3.10 from the 2nd post in that topic.
The installation went fine. After the installation the only thing is that my wifi won't turn on. When I push the button, the wifi turns on, but directly after that it turns off (in 1 s). I've tried it many times, I've done a factory reset, wiped the cache etc. but still it won't work.
I followed the guide properly.
What can I do to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist Please reinstall stock firmware and see that you are flashing right Stock Firmware available for your region Factory Rest after flash
Good Luck!

[Completed] [Q] SGS4 Root Failure via Odin

I was trying to down grade my SGS4 from lolipop to kitkat, I tried to root when the Odin software crashed mid installation. Now my phone wont fully start up, it make it to the Samsung logo but will not complete boot up. I treid the samsung kies firmware emergency and recovery programs but that software doesn't recognise my handset now. Is there any hope for my phone now, if so I would be most gratefull for any information!
Thanks
Jaycee
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Flash the nb1 tar file in Odin. If your device turns on there's hope. See this from gutt13,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2616221. He has everything you need for the i337.
Edit, do you have an i337? Or a different variant of the s4?

[Completed] Need Help Fixing my Semi-Bricked Galaxy S5

EDIT: See bottom of post
Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to attempt to help me.
Earlier today, my T-Mobile Galaxy S5 updated to 5.1.1. I searched google and came across a few links on how to root my phone (G900T) - The one I ended up using was CF-AutoRoot
I used Odin 3.07, used the tar5 file from that site above where I downloaded the root, and attempted to root the phone. Odin says everything worked as planned ''passed'' was displayed with 0 fails. I waited about 20 minutes, but my phone never rebooted, it was stuck in a boot logo loop ' 'Samsung Galaxy S5 powered by Android'' or ''T-Mobile'' was displayed.
I tried going into recovery and reseting all data / factory wipe but that didn't help, and made it even worse. Now my phone says this when I try to turn it on: ''Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again''
How do I go about getting back to stock firmware , that is rootable, so I can then proceed to install CyanogenMod?
EDIT: I used Kies and was able to get back to stock firmware and the phone turns on.
Can anyone recommend a reliable root for the G900T S5?

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
It's good to hear that you managed to revive your phone. Many of us find it convenient to install a custom recovery such as TWRP which makes backing up and restoring, switching ROMs, and many such activities much easier. XDA happens to have an active and friendly area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy S5, and specifically to the T-Mobile version at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5. I suggest you search that area or simply post your question in the Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/help where our experts will be most likely to be able to guide you.

Not see any 4.o4 on sammobile .
Hi,
In Sammobile portal do not have this older version i cannot find any were in the web, the links are all dead.
Can some one help me find this older stock rom?
hi, any solution??
Yes as posted multiple times .
Flash stock firmware .
The same happends to me. The tablet stucks on "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" logo and a "stop-clock" icon appears when it's charging. I can't access to Recovery Mode, only to ODIN mode.
With ODIN I tried to flash several ROMS, including the STOCK ROM from several countries, and no one works. I change the recovery, the bootloader, the rom, and everything that I thougt, but nothing works. In ODIN, appears to success, but really not.
Someone solve it?

Wifi Doesn't turn on in Samsung Galaxy E5 after Falshing it

Hello guys, i have a trouble with my Samsung Galaxy E5 device.
I had rooted my device nearly 2 weeks ago. And Today i Tried to install exposed installer with .apk file . But that cause my device to stock in boot loop. I didn't know what to do so i did factory reset and installed it's default rom downloaded from sammobile using Odin. That worked fine but the problem is Wi-Fi didn't turned on. So i tried these methods as mentioned in other posts in this forum and others:
Factory reset couple of times
Cleared Ram Memory
Turned off Wi-Fi power Save power using *#0011# in call dialer
again rooted and reinstalled the same rom
I am New to these So please Help me. Your help will me appreciable.
U can install the correct recovery from twrp.me , then u have to back up your current rom after doing so you have to restore your efs file by twrp recovery from your backed up rom.
Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
Solved
Thanks for your reply. But I flashed the same official rom once again the problem was solved.
