Since I updated to 5.0.1, whenever I get a notification, there is a card that comes down below the notification bar with a preview of whatever the notification is. I don't need this because the edge panel already gives me a preview without blocking 20% of the screen. How do I disable these new notifications so that I only see them on the edge panel?
I have the 915V btw so I'm not rooted.

I went from 4.4.4 to 5.1. It seems that in 5.1 I don't get the notifications in the top bar when the screen is locked. I can turn on the notification that sits in the middle of the lockscreen but is there any way to get it to show the notification icon in the top bar (where it now says T-Mobile) when the screen is locked?
I am rooted running 5.1 stock.
I'm coming from the Galaxy Nexus running KitKat. I was able to to dismiss the notification LED by pulling down the statusbar, but not dismissing the notification. Is there a method with LP to do the same? To be clear: I want to be able to dismiss the notification LED without dismissing the notification itself.
If you use ledblinker app to control your led. You can have the option for led off once screen comes on

I cannot seem to turn off peeking without silencing the notification completely. I don't want to be interrupted by the peeking however i do want to hear the sound and see the icon in the status bar. Help. Thanks.

Hey guys. I have traffic alerts enabled through maps and I thought the google app?! When i get an alert i only see it in the notification panel. I don't get an icon in the status bar nor do i get a notification on the lockscreen or anywhere really. The only time i know i have them is if i slide down the notification panel and it's there. I don't have any notifications hidden, all are selected. I'm running nougat 7.0 on AT&T S7. Any ideas? My girlfriends S7 on Verizon and Nougat gives her notifications and she didn't even set up now or maps! I have a fresh install of nougat as well...
Hey guys. My wife has an issue with her OP6. She's running full stock at the latest firmware. She's having issues with notification not showing in the notification panel. I have checked it and it turns out that the notification is there is just that is transparent for some reason. I was trying to see if it was the theme she was using. I changed it from light to default to dark and it happens the same issue. Also when I pull down the notification panel it's cutting the top part of the bar. I've attached a screenshot for you guys to see. Again she's running full stock, no root, no substratum.
