I went from 4.4.4 to 5.1. It seems that in 5.1 I don't get the notifications in the top bar when the screen is locked. I can turn on the notification that sits in the middle of the lockscreen but is there any way to get it to show the notification icon in the top bar (where it now says T-Mobile) when the screen is locked?
I am rooted running 5.1 stock.

Since I updated to 5.0.1, whenever I get a notification, there is a card that comes down below the notification bar with a preview of whatever the notification is. I don't need this because the edge panel already gives me a preview without blocking 20% of the screen. How do I disable these new notifications so that I only see them on the edge panel?
I have the 915V btw so I'm not rooted.

hi, apologies if this has been posted before but it's really driving me nuts. 2 days ago everything was fine: i'm simply using c-locker as a lock screen. then yesterday i noticed there was another lock screen which can only be unlocked by swiping up. the status bar also changed. whereas before the bar went all the way up to the edge, now there's a black bar. the phone signal moved to the left side. to view notification icons (like an envelope for sms), the sound would come but the status bar would stay the same. by clicking on the status bar only then would the other icons appear and the status bar would go to the original (be all the way to the end of the screen). i'm still googling about but so far zilch.

my wife's phone is a nokia 1020 (we bought it as she loves the camera). it rang last night and she was in the gym. so i answered it and afterwards i noticed that the lockscreen and the status bar were very similar to the one i was having issues with in my edge. so i went over to my edge and uninstalled windows 10 launcher. i had previously installed it because my wife wanted to see if i could replicate her phone interface. so i installed but never used the launcher. when the edge did an ota update, windows 10 launcher was part of the other apps touched. whatever updates happened, the launcher forced it's lockscreen and status bar profiles on top of my existing setup. so, in case you plan to install the win10 launcher, maybe it's best to use it on it's own.
I feel this is a "noobish" question, but...
When on the lock screen, I can see the status bar but it doesn't show me my notifications (such as new email/text/etc). Instead, it shows the carrier. I can customize this text in GravityBox (rooted w/xposed), but how do I just get it to show the notification icons. In other words, I basically just want the status bar to show the exact same information when the device is locked as it does when it is not.
When I unlock the phone the AT&T logo appears in the notification bar, then after a second or 2 it disappears and then will show me the notification icons. Certainly never had this issue on any other phone.
Any way to disable the AT&T text in the notification bar?

while i swipe down my status bar , the keys and notification are seen properly but behind that the screen turns white.
while i swipe down my status bar , even though my auto rotation is off , the status bar rotates automatically when i rotate my phone (this annoys my when i use my phone while sleeping)
As soon as i swipe up the status bar it goes to normal.
I even saw the Display Over apps and picture in picture , pop ups , quick ball settings. all are turned off. but still this issue persist. Done resetting / formatting/wiping/changing rom etc...
