Good day everybody.
I recently got wireless charger for s6 edge, I followed instructions on w/l charger and device manuals and still unable to have it worked. I checked if I need to do something on device settings but could not find. I believe I missed something here or there.
Please help.
Thanks
It is really simple, plug the changer in for power, place the phone on the charger centered on the charger and it should start charging. If you are using a case it might be interfering, but my case doesn't. Don't have the edge, but it is the same.
No switches, settings, just use it.
Thanks, Is there indicator showing charging status ?.
On charger there is an indicator showing red.

The phone shows it is charging.

I bought a generic Qi wireless charging kit. It has a white receiver which you open up the back cover of the galaxy s4 and then fit the prongs in place. Then closed the back cover and put it on my charger pad. The charger pad is powered by my OEM Samsung 2A output adapter so that should be plenty of power. There are two lights, one red that is constantly on which I assume is the power light. The other light is green, but it flashes. I'm not sure if it is supposed to do this, but pretty sure it is not as my phone will display a popup notification that wireless charging is enabled. One second later, the popup is gone and the battery icon no longer shows the thunderbolt charging symbol. Another second later, the notification comes back and the battery icon shows the thunderbolt charging symbol. So both the charger pad flashes and my phone's notification and battery charger icon appear and disappear every few seconds repeatedly, anyone know what is going on?
Kind of hard to tell without seeing which one you specifically have. Got any links? Have you made a good connection with the contacts on the back of the phone? And are you placing the phone in a good spot on the charger? I have 2 qi receivers like yours and I don't have these problems unless I'm using the official nexus wireless charger. I think the magnets in it do something to offset it. I have another wireless charging pad and I don't have these problems at all.

I actually do have the link: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/181216698737...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
I made sure to buy the GS4 i9500 and almost certain this is a right purchase as the prongs fit perfectly. Based on the instructions, the actual charger is under the symbol/icon, which I have tried to place perfectly. Heck, I tried so many spots with no success. I'm not sure if the receiver is faulty or if the charge pad is faulty. I'm looking into a ChoeTech and Incipio Qi charger right now as its around 30 bucks and have quite some positive reviews.
Well that thing is one of the thicker ones. And I've never liked the design of it. I'd definitely switch receivers. Then chargers if you problem still occurs.
1. check to make sure the contacts on the receiver are not getting disconnected inside the phone.
2. you need to find the sweet spot on your pad when you put your phone on it
Well, I'm in the process of getting a refund on eBay. Guess I'll have to go for a more branded charger instead of some no-name generic.
Does the Flex2 offer a notification when connected to a Qualcomm certified Quick Charge 2.0 charger?
I've seen that Note4 does so I was wondering if Flex2 did as well.
Thanks

No, they will charge like a normal device with 5V/2A charger...this is ridiculous i know, the charger have 5V/9V mode and you never know when they activate the fast charge!
But, they charge quick enough to charge...dont mind about it!
Alright, thanks. I wonder if LG just plain forgot to enable this notification for one of the most touted features of Flex2 or they cut a very, very cheap corner.
Whenever I connect my Flex 2 to my Samsung Quick Charge charger it gives a notification saying "Fast Charging..."

OK, thanks. Mine is the poor man's Flex2, F510L. I hope Fast Charge is available on it.
so today i connected my phone to its stock charger the one that came with the phone and a weird thing happened my phone went into download mode and now i get the feeling that my phone isn't charging quickly as before. its only my feeling don't know if its true.
so my questions are
is the phone supposed to show fast charging notification or something like that when connected to its stock charger.(never payed attention to such details myself). and also is the stock charger even a fast charger. since my phone has always charged quickly i always assumed its a fast charger. it does say 9.0V and 5.0V under the output heading.
second
what do u think might be the reason behind that weird download mode appearance. is it the charger, the cable or the phone itself.
i have connected the charger again and again to see if it happens again but it hasn't happened yet.
i have a rooted flex 2 but i have made no system file changes because i use root for ad blocking app freezing and greenify only. no xposed installed either as i am afraid to install it.
I rooted my tab and installed Android 6. After I took those steps, I noticed that it wouldn't charge unless it was powered off even though the charging icon indicated that it was charging when it was powered on. Then I stumbled on something that said that if you just barely connected the charging wire to the charger that that would help solve the problem. See http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...-galaxy-tab-2-wont-charge-when-powered-2.html For some reason, this works and I don't know why. Does anyone have any ideas? (Again, when it was totally powered off, it charged fine.

Consider replacing your charging wire and brick. That happened to me way back and I'm glad i don't have to adjust the wire to get it working.
Lightracer,
Thanks for your response. However, my Tab 2 is my backup Tablet, and the charging cord is good enough for me. I am curious as to why barely inserting the wire into the charger causes the Tab 2 to charge correctly. Simply makes no sense, unless a good number of charging cords have the same defects. Also, what is weird to me is that my Tab 2 charges correctly when it is powered off.

Well the answer to this weird issue might seem to be from a software related one. since the same cable charges the tab while it's off. Right?
but in my experience from all the experiments I have done, this issue is solved only by changing the cable or the whole charger or consider replacing the battery(Root cause of your issue).
a battery near it's end would have all sort of weird behaviour.
it will deplete if using while charging, would go from 100 to 5 percent if you restart, then start going up again if left untouched without charging. so there you are!
hope this would make things clear to you now.
I bought gear s3 around 1 month ago, everything works fine until today, around 80%, suddenly it's not charging (the dock did not lights up) so i believe the issue is on the dock / cable.
I also have S7 Edge, i tried to plug my S7 Edge charging cable to the dock and it charges but when the gear s3 is not put yet, the dock light blinks (idk what this mean, maybe because it's overpowered cause i'm using S7 Edge cable charger). So it means the dock is working.
Then i do the reverse, I tried to plug the gear S3 charging cable to my S7 Edge and it's charging but of course not fast charging. So it means the cable it self is working.
Anyone have any idea what happened? Cause ya it's still not working until now if i use the original gear S3 charging cable and dock, all my cables are original from Samsung.

Maybe reboot the watch (press and hold the Power button). Maybe something odd happened and it needs the error to be cleared by a reboot. I think you can use a more powerful ac adapter and it would not hurt the charging stand.
Then the charging "stand" where you place the watch could be defective??
good luck.

i tried reboot and still nothing, and as i said above, i used my s7 edge cable plugged into the dock and it charges, i just worried it might be a problem because it's overpowered, do you think it will be fine?

Well, I would expect that the charging pod and associated cable/charger should be covered by the warranty.
Sometimes my Note8 does not charge on my Samsung fast wireless charger. No, this is not a position issue.. Sometimes, it just doesn't charge. The solid bluelight of the wireless charger although turns on. The only way for me to wireless charge again in this state is for me to reboot the phone.
Anyone else run onto this? Very annoying and it happens at random times.

I am surprised no one ran into this issue. The only thing I can think of that would cause this is some service I disabled.
I have the same issue and unfortunately have not figured it out. Mine will charge for about 10 seconds then will start blinking, I am using the dock fast charger from before the note 8 though not the newest one.

I had the same issue when trying to use the older wireless charging stand. I think it's a power issue because I tried an older iPad charging block (one of the bigger ones that has higher wattage or voltage or whatever) and it charged fine on the older stand. It didn't say it was fast charging but it did charge faster than average. I think I'll just stick to the newer charging base I got from the Note 8 promotion.
I had the same issue. I realized the case that i was using was the issue. Had to take it off to use the wireless charging.
I noticed the same thing recently. The wierd thing is, I also have the old original flat slow wireless charger and I use tha every night with a case, it just won't work on the fast dock one. Only without the case, or I think if i lay it sideways it works.

If it is not the case...
This issue has to do with power supply. Try different cables or wall plugs. I have had this issue in the past it could be sending too much or too little voltage. It blinks like that and turns off to protect your device from getting damaged.
I actually had to use an older wall plug to get my older wireless charging pad to work. The quick charge wall plug was pushing too much voltage.

if I remove the case it works perfectly. With the case its the 10 second deal; However, I took your advice and switched out the charging brick to another samsung fast charger ( all i have to test with at the moment) and it looks like it may work. I will see if I have a better one at home but it may just be with the case its having to emit more power like you mentioned. not sure but ill try that out for now.
I have three different but the same Samsung fast charger and I have issues on all three but at random times.. When it is not working, I just reboot my phone while on the charger and it starts charging again when Phone comes back up. I just dont get it.

Looks like a common issue where the old wireless charger (pre S8 ones) had problems. My fast wireless charger had no issues with the S7, just the Note 8.

Many users are facing this problem. While searching the web I found one user giving the best solution for this problem at Samsung community, He says that he has the same issue if the phone is standing straight up. However, when he put it on its side he never seems to have the problem.

Yeah. I saw that but its still not working correctly for me.
Anyone notice that it only charges when the screen is OFF?
I have this issue sometimes randomly on the new flat fast charger. Does this with my wifes S8 as well. My older standing type fastcharger that I got for my Note 5 works flawlessly. I feel like it's the flat fastcharger base itself.
Ummm... now this crazy phone is charging FLAWLESSLY. And I havent changed a thing...
