[Completed] [q] nexus 4 soft bricked and usb debugging does not work!! - XDA Assist

Heyy everyone
I have recently tried to install a stock rom zip on my Nexus 4 using recovery mode. the rom failed to install as a result my phone just reboots itself onto recovery mode. Unfortunately usb debugging does not work either and my pc says it does not recognize my device. I have tried toolkits as well as trying to use download mode but none seem to work for me.
Anyone have any solutions?
Thanks

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assit. You might have to flash the factory image with fastboot. See this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/how-to-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2010312 Also see your device's specific forum for additional help here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4

Download the Android sdk and make sure you let it update to 4.4 and check the box under optional that says USB driver. You might have to at accept the token that you computer needs to interact with the phone now.
Alternatively you can download the factory image as a zip on XDA right to your phone and install it using twerp

[Completed] [Q] Dump ROM/Enter Recovery on Device with no External Buttons or Ports of Any Kind

Pretty much as the title states. I'm currently working on trying to dump the ROM from my Xiaomi Mi Box Min but there is no way for me to either;
A. Enter Recovery Mode
B. Replace the stock recovery with TWRP because I cannot hook the rockchip based device to MTK-TWRP because there's no usb port to connect it to PC and no way for me to issue a reboot recovery command in terminal.
All of the recovery apps I've tried require root access, which this box does not have. Any help what-so-ever is appreciated.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I think what your asking is impossible. But see if anyone in this thread can help, http://forum.xda-developers.com/har...iaomi-mi-box-mini-super-tiny-android-t3067978

[Completed] [Q] Lg Volt SoftBrick

My Lg Volt is a rooted device, i screwed up a flash and now its stuck in boot loop. My computer see's it (its in device manager) but i can't install adb to get it into TWRP (which I have installed on it, it is also a rooted device). I keep going into the update device driver thing in windows device manager. and giving the google adb driver system path and windows just say" you already have the best drivers installed already" or something similar to that. ALSO the device is stuck as "MTP USB DEVICE". PLEASE HELP!
Hello, thank you for using XDA Assist.
Unfortunately there is no dedicated forum for that device. Also I haven't found any way to make your device boot to recovery via some key combinations, which is weird since every device basically has that way.
Try asking the same thing HERE in the Android Q&A section.
Good luck!

May have bricked my Nexus 5

Hi guys hopefully I posted this in the right place. I have a rooted Nexus 5 with multirom installed and had a few ROMs in mind that I wanted to try out, most of them just installed simply and booted without problems however when I chose to try and install slimrom or another (can't remember the name of the other ROM sorry) a message would appear stating I need to install a different bootloader IMG to install/ boot that ROM. I searched around for a while and found an image to install through twrp but when I installed it I now can't boot the phone to launch a ROM or get into recovery mode as the screen will go black. Any ideas? I'm trying to used adb to install a twrp img but so far it doesn't detect the device :/ I would much appreciate any help or suggestions! Ask me if you have any questions! Thanks.
Have tried to flashing back to a completely stock rom?
Problem is I can't get my computer to recognize my nexus 5 in the boot loader mode if I could I could then flash twrp again and flash the stock rom but it doesn't detect
Does the phone boot into fastboot mode? You tried different USB ports, cables, computers, and operating systems?
The only mode I can get my Nexus into is boot loader mode so yes fast boot. I have a windows xp and 8 so I use 8 as its the only PC that I can run adb & fast boot on without problems. I have used a USB cord the recognized my sisters phone also so it shouldn't be a faulty cable I'm pretty sure. Thanks for those ideas I appreciate your help a lot!

Use the cable that came with the phone.

Speaking from personal experience, I found that the USB cable could make a difference. I also have Samsung phones and, although the USB cable allowed win7 to install drivers, I could never flash anything. Once I switched back to the original cable, flashing works without any problems.
tahnks guys i managed to fix my problem using the nexus in bootloader mode on Windows 7 as windows 8 and xp wouldn't recognize it for some reason. From there i managed to install twrp reset the device, flash theserurection remix rom and flash a correct bootloader. Thanks for your help as it lead me in the right direction!

Enable USB Debugging Via Recovery or ADB

Will any one help me out!!!
Hello Guys, I am using HTC Desire 626G+,rooted (kingroot) the system and attempted to update the rom, forgetting OTA conflicts. Now I am stucked at NO COMMAND error and then i found a solution from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-626/help/fix-htc-desire-626g-update-command-t3243510
While using SP Flash Tools my mobile is not dected in SP Flash Tools due to I turned off usb debugging..
So is there is any way to enable usb debugging??
Hi,
if you want to enable USB Debugging (ADB) you must have access to the system. Only there you can enable ADB.
Which recovery system do you have installed?
I cant understand your ques , will you say it clearly , bcoz i am new to this one
OK.
If you didn't flash any custom recovery, you can't enable ADB via Recovery. Maybe one other HTC expert can help you.
Wait for @Asselalf and @Flippy498
I did not flash any custom recovery, while during a update from htc ( I forgot about OTA conflcits) and shows an error message NO COMMAND
Please don't call me an expert. There are many people here on xda who know much more than me. Especially in this situation since I have no experiences with Mediatek devices and as far as I read the D626G+ is one of them. All I know is that my knowledge can't be applied on them since rooting and flashing work a bit different on these devices...
Sorry, can't help here
I can do not worry the reason behind this i bet the usb vcom drivers are not installed in your pc that is why you are facing this issue ... feel free to ask any que
