[Completed] [Q] Dump ROM/Enter Recovery on Device with no External Buttons or Ports of Any Kind - XDA Assist

Pretty much as the title states. I'm currently working on trying to dump the ROM from my Xiaomi Mi Box Min but there is no way for me to either;
A. Enter Recovery Mode
B. Replace the stock recovery with TWRP because I cannot hook the rockchip based device to MTK-TWRP because there's no usb port to connect it to PC and no way for me to issue a reboot recovery command in terminal.
All of the recovery apps I've tried require root access, which this box does not have. Any help what-so-ever is appreciated.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I think what your asking is impossible. But see if anyone in this thread can help, http://forum.xda-developers.com/har...iaomi-mi-box-mini-super-tiny-android-t3067978

[Completed] [Q] Asus Zenfone C bootloop/stock-rom dump

Hello xdadevelopers,
My Asus zenfone C ZC451CG is stuck at the "asus" logo after I restarted it one day and refuses to go beyond it. Though it was rooted but I don't have a system backup.
I tried to sideload the official ww update a couple of times but it crashes soon after the "deleting old dictionaries..." and reboots the phone back to recovery every time. I was able to flash boot.img, fastboot.img from the official update package via fastboot though but the zip file is missing system.img and has a system folder in it instead. The boot-loader is locked as no official/unofficial unlock available at the moment. I am able to get to the droidboot/system-recovery without any problems. Device doesnt connect via adb except for sideload update mode via recovery. Windows 7 recognizes the device properly but after a minute or two while installing adb drivers throws an error "Device could not be started. (Error Code 10)" it was working fine before the boot-loop problem though, I have tried to re-install the official drivers and also have tried other generic adb divers drivers, also tried a different computer but nothing helped. I went through google and what not but couldn't find a stock or any kind of system.img.gz over the internet. If could anyone help me with resurrecting my zenfone C I shall be very thankful and highly obliged.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. There is very little information about your device on XDA. But I did find this which may help, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/asus-zenfone-c-zc451cg-zone-t3065677

[Completed] [Q] Lg Volt SoftBrick

My Lg Volt is a rooted device, i screwed up a flash and now its stuck in boot loop. My computer see's it (its in device manager) but i can't install adb to get it into TWRP (which I have installed on it, it is also a rooted device). I keep going into the update device driver thing in windows device manager. and giving the google adb driver system path and windows just say" you already have the best drivers installed already" or something similar to that. ALSO the device is stuck as "MTP USB DEVICE". PLEASE HELP!
Hello, thank you for using XDA Assist.
Unfortunately there is no dedicated forum for that device. Also I haven't found any way to make your device boot to recovery via some key combinations, which is weird since every device basically has that way.
Try asking the same thing HERE in the Android Q&A section.
Good luck!

[Completed] [q] nexus 4 soft bricked and usb debugging does not work!!

Heyy everyone
I have recently tried to install a stock rom zip on my Nexus 4 using recovery mode. the rom failed to install as a result my phone just reboots itself onto recovery mode. Unfortunately usb debugging does not work either and my pc says it does not recognize my device. I have tried toolkits as well as trying to use download mode but none seem to work for me.
Anyone have any solutions?
Thanks
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assit. You might have to flash the factory image with fastboot. See this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/how-to-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2010312 Also see your device's specific forum for additional help here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4

[Completed] Bricked Allview Tablet

Hi,
I'm looking for some assistance to unbrick an Allview Viva P8 Pro tablet.
All this mess started from looking after some disk space to install more apps on on the default second partition.
First I've tried some tools like app2sd with no luck and finally decided to try adb/fastboot way, using a linux machine, to root the device.
Before starting the root procedure i was able to boot into recovery mode and while being into recovery mode I could see the tablet as a google device with the proper vendor id 0x18d1. Also "adb devices" command could find the device as expected. Right after issuing "adb restart bootloader", i cannot enter into recovery mode and it hangs with the logo displayed on the screen, i think it's a boot phase before entering into recovery mode.
I can still see it as usb attached device, not with google vendor id but identified as "Onda unverified", with vendor id 0x1f3a. Windows OS finds it as Android Bootloader Interface USB Developer and that's it. I've tried to install some drivers to establish communication but with no luck so far.
Thank you in advance.
