Hi J-A-J-O,
I get the same error like you shown on the pic.
Do you have a solution already for this problem???
Plz. help me.
Thnx.

Unfortunetly no I'm gonna leave PDA without battery tonight and see what gona happen tommorow - if this will not solve the problem i will send it to service centre.
try this
I was upgrading when my computer had a blue screen and completely crashed. Try getting into the bios, by pressing, camera+power+reset at the sametime, and then try to run the installer again when you plugged it in the computer. Don't know if it will work for you, but it worked for me.greets

I'm in the bootloader mode, but I stock here! Windows recognizes PDA, but flashing software shows that what on the image and then can't connect to the device.
I mean, I can see olny USB/Serial at the top and 1.02 at the bottom

I've met this status few days ago. Do you install activesync on your computer? If no, try to install it and re-plug your PDA phone. Run update ROM program to see the status change or not?
I use Dopod818_1110_153_11100_Ship.exe to upgrade my PDA. It is traditional chinese version. Just FYR.
A have ActiveSync v 4.00 b4343, when I run rom update program, ActiveSync icon hides - so I can say that is king of status change Of course active sync still shows that phone is not connected. But when rom update program ends it shows error 201 - i have used those rom already:
MA_TMUK_11300_128_11200_Ship.exe
NL_11300_131_11200.exe
WWE_T-Mobile_1.13.zip
WWE_10600_158_10600.rar
WWE_10600_110_10500.exe
Every single started with standart MaUpgradeUt and MaUpgradeUt_noID but problem still exsist. Normal MaUprageUt can't connect to the phone, and MaUpgradeUt_noID shows status like on my image attached on the top, and after I prase upgrage and leave phone for 2 hours nothinh happens, it only displays "Checking information of your device"

Hi J-A-J-O,
I had the same problem like you and i found out that it's maby the battery that is the problem.
You must have a battery that is charged well.
When it is not charged this problem might occured.
I want to try this but i don't know how to charged a battery when you don't
have a'n OS installed on the Pocket PC.
Perhaps somebody can tell me this??
Thnx,
Alfa156
You might be right, I remember that battery was charged around 30% when I stardet to flash. Now when I'm trying to charge the phone, indicator dosn't shine and phone dosn't getting warm, like it was always be when i plug the charger...
And damn, i don't know anybody, who has magician, so I can't borrow charged battery - maybe there's way to charge the phone when it is in bootloader mode?
Could somone help us?
EDIT: Ok, so I knew some new facts. The battery couldn't be charged in the bootloader mode, but somone from polish forum told me that he has scheme how to connect battery directly to charger. When I charg battery and check is that the reason of my problem, i will write in this topic
PS. Sorry for my english
post
Hi J-A-J-O,
Can you tell me what the additional steps are?
After i put the back cover on what is than the next step to do.
Have succeed to charge your battery?
without any OS on the Magician.
Thnx,
Alfa156
By the way did you already got the scheme for charge the battery directly from the charger.
Yes, I have charged the battery directly from charger.
This method was invented by Jasse from PDAclub.pl, BIG THANKS to him
Scheme is in the attachment. You need some charger, it must be between 3-6v. Cut off the plug, then connect red cable to minus, and black/white or other to plus. Hold the cables in that position for 2-3 minutes then try to flash. Remember: If battery will get too hot disconnect it immidietly.
YOU DOING THIS AT YOU OWN RISK
Hi J-A-J-O
I met the same problem. And I did what you mentioned to charge my battery. the model is PM16A. But seems it did not work. Could you paste the original link of this topic? What kind of charger did you use to direct charge this battery?
P.S. I'm using dopod 818.
Thanks.
I fixed it.
How did u fix it?
BMaster,
I remember that I used a wire to short-cut 2 or 3 pins, then put the battery in, and plug the charger, this will cheat the system that it looks like the battery is full. Then you can flash the it with a good rom. It has been passed a long time, I have to try it again so that I can tell you the exact pin number.

Wont connect to PC and other odd issues

Ok, so I have been having a very annoying issue(s) recently with my SGH-I997R, ( Firmware version 2.3.3, Baseband version I997RUXKG3, Kernel Ver: 2.6.32.7-I997RUXKG3-CL366622)
This all started out of the blue about a month ago, I used to connect my phone to my PC all the time for transferring items via Mass Storage, and then on day when I went to connect it to my same PC, I got " USB Device Not Recognized". It will charge the phone but will not connect or show any option on the phone to connect. I have tried 2 Samsung cables and a generic Micro USB cable, No change. I tried connecting to my laptop, same issue. I re-downloaded the drivers from Samsung onto both my usual PC and Laptop, no change. Very very frustrating.
Other issues, I don't know if their related in any way but they all started at the same time.
a) if I place my phone in airplane mode i cannot get it out of that mode without rebooting my phone
b) if i shut my phone down (doesn't matter if battery shows 100% or 25%) I cannot get the phone to turn on without plugging in the USB cable.
c) When I leave my phone charging overnight and look at it in the morning, battery shows 100% but also shows "NO SERVICE" , I reboot the phone with the cable still connected, service restored.
IF anyone has had these issues Especially the connecting to PC issue, Please PLEASE help. I am going nuts. And of course this all happened 3 months after the warranty expired, so both Rogers and Samsung will not help without $$$$$.
have you tried to back up your data, take out any micro sd card and perform a factory reset under /settings/privacy/reset ?
or open it up and look inside for any problems like corrosion?

I have done a factory reset numerous times from both the /settings/privacy/reset, and from booting it up holding the volume keys and doing a reset that way.
And I have had my phone since day one in a Ballistic Hard Core Series case, I take it out once a week to ensure its clean and free of dust/moisture (I work in construction so I try to keep it a clean as possible.) and my phone still looks like its brand new.
Thanks for the response though,
Update:
So just as an update for anyone out there who may be able to assist me with this very annoying issue, the Phone is still doing the same things, and since the last post i've also replaced the battery to see if for some strange reason it might help.
But to no avail.
As well I dont think i mentioned that this phone is rooted. I want to try unrooting it to see if that will correct the issue, but with not being able to connect the phone via usb to the computer, I have NO IDEA on how I can accomplish this. Any help???

Please help, really need it... bootloop

Basically what is now my phone is catch and display the image of "WARNING; BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED" and it restarts constantly, only to arrive there and restart again... like a "bootlop"
GOOGLE SEARCH FOR ALL SOLUTION IN FORUMS IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH, no case ...
Apparently my mistake was to install an official ROM on my device MOTOROLA using fastboot way...
It do not recognize charger or usb, I can enter the bootloader menu (which lets you choose factory normal startup, recovery ... you know which one) but by choosing an option that quickly returns to the same pattern discussed above (I select, and automatically jumps screen "warning, bootloader unlocked" and restarted to reach this constantly ..)
Do not recognize the USB or charger by simple selection, because I could not turn off the phone because they did not respond to any command, even if i use physical buttons, and obviusly i dont have acces to digital buttons...... .
However I can go to the "Fastboot" where would the bootloader menu, and there does not even recognize the charger or usb mode ...
is not recognized by selection, not because my port is broken or something, because I notice it because I could not do anything, IT WAS CONSTANTLY RESET DURING HOURS, overheating to the point it ran out of battery and I connect ... and I get the typical image of charging (battery symbol with 0%) and a second later (1% estimate when loading ...) happens again, without notice or other visually perceptible signal it restarts and does Just what i explain in the beginning ....
it doesnt recognize usb or charger... even when restarting or fastboot or bootloader mode menu NOT ACKNOWLEDGE DECIDES NOT RECOGNIZE IT, THE USB PORT ISNT NOT DAMAGED ...
I wonder if anyone could come up with the solution to have had this problem since I see that I'm the first to commit such stupidity to install an official rom via fastboot .....
And I can not find anyone with the same problem as me, nor the solution, even after having googled quite ..
could anyone tell me more or less to do?
not recognize in any way the usb connection, and the charger all ...
so it seems that the phone is broken? I doubt they can give you something that you can only destroy via software, although it is not impossible ... i didnt did so much, i just install something that i shouldnt.. should be any fix for it, and i must not be the first having this problem!
I hope you can help me, since the phone is relatively new and is to me a shame to pay now AR$4500 (1 usd = 8,50 AR$ ) i live in argentina, third world, thats why the price is high... and why i dont talk english so good, but i really really need help...
or in order to have another decent phone i will need to pay a high amount of money... hope you can help me, i know in this forum you can find very smart and helpfull people, youre my last chance
regards from argentina...

[Q] Soft Brick Huawei Y320-U151

I was watching a video on my phone when all my apps made a pop-up saying "Unfortunately *app* has stopped working". This happened for every app, I tried to factory reset from recovery mode because I couldn't access Settings, but when I did the factory reset nothing changed and the problem persisted. I decided to just leave the phone and the next day it wouldn't turn on at all no matter what and when I tried to charge it and left it for two hours it seemed as if it wasn't charging because the temperature of the phone or the charger didn't change so I came to the conclusion that my phone is bricked. When I plug the phone in by USB to a computer, the computer makes the connected sound.

Any Updates on what happened with your phone?
Hello. Your phone uses MTK Cpu? (You can see in gsmarena and if ur cpu for example is MTxxxx)
If yes then install VCOM drivers for your phone on pc (works well on windows xp) after that see if pc finds your device or not (in device manager u can see that) if the pc finds it and there are no problems u can flash it with SP-Flashtool .
and if no, it means there is an hardwere problem (it happens when phone falls on ground and etc...)
You can find a guid on internet for flashing your phone
Sorry i didnt explaind everything and sorry for my bad english

Neither bypass nor Filter Wizard recognizing the phone.

I think I killed my phone. I lil' story -- i decided to flash my Redmi 9A, flashed PBRP onto it and.. Black screen. I already faced it, so I just try to flash original firmware with SP Flash and... Error. Can't quite remember what it was. I try to use bypass, and although bypass does give the "Success" output, SP Flash still gives the same error. I google this error and it seems like it is an issue with drivers. OK, I remove all the drivers and try again. It got zero battery at this point. Now it's not recognized by PC at all, Windows gives no error, FIlter Wizard doesn't even recognize it, Bypass gives a driver error. I'm sure I installed all the drivers correctly. I also tried:
To use my installation of Arch Linux using this guide, no success, bypass doesn't recognize the phone
This LIveCD, where all the drivers should be properly installed, but no success, same as every other try
I'm very stuck. Any suggestions?

If u install a recovery rom and you did it wrong you can boot to fastboot, no?
Hey I faced similar or even worse (twice), I had a similar story to yours,
FIrst itme:
I first bricked my phone, but it was cool, the phone just flashed MIUI for a fraction of a second when trying to go to recovery, other than that, nothing, I tried flashing, wich made it much much worse, black screen, no key combo did nothing, windows not just did not recognize it,it told me there was no way of recognizing it, (error 43 in devices admin, its not posible to reinstall the driver, nor do crap at this point) filter wizard showed nothing, bypassing imposible, etc.
It got pretty similar to what you had:
I just left the phone do some charging discharging cycles (at least 4 days with me checking if the phone did anything at all almost once every day, just so you know the phone was really bricked) and it eventually responded after all that (Im not quite sure what fixed this, I dont kno if it was complete discharge or what, but something happened and it vibrated when holding the pwr button.
Once that worked, I managed to install the filter by pressing volup voldown and conecting the phone to the USB port (dont use 3.0, it works worse for some reason) at the same time, you need to connect and press the buttons and connect at the same time (
at 1:30 he does it, video on spanish) and then you can install the filter.
Then you can Bypass and attempt to flash with SPflash tool, I recomend autoconcect, UART never made it for me, Im thinking thats for when you can put it in EDL mode by presing the test points, but I dont know enough to say for sure, point is, UART never worked for me, even tho I eve know what comms I was using.
second time:
I was running Custom ROM ArrowOS 12, ArrowOS13 came out some weeks ago, so I decided to lash it, it was better in some areas and worse in others, the contacts app did not work, but now Volte fingerprint(irrelevant to us redmi 9a users) and face unlock did so I decide to test some stuff, I wasnted to flsh boot.img from original MIUI ROM on top of ArrowOS13, to check if that fixed some stuff (that worked wonders on ArrowOS12) that bootloped thephone but it was fixable from recovery, I did that and decided to flash MIUI ROM to check if flashing ArrowOS13 from MIUI ROM worked, and flashing MIUI bricked my phone.
unrecgnized with error 43, not posible to fix from software, black screen no response whatsoever from any key combo (all 7 combos) no charging, no filter, no nothing, I know I had around 50% battery (days ago I remembered the exact number, now I forgot it, but just so you know, its not a hunch, I knew it had battery) I tried doing the same stuppid crap, charging and leaving it alone for couple hours, but after one night nothing worked, so I assumed I would have to repeat the procees I did before (I wrote it complete on an unbricking thread so I knew I could go back there and redo that or variate it until it worked), but I decided to do one final thing.
I knew it had battery, so I decided to try and forcedrain the battery, I took a piece of TP and gave it a turn around the phone over the buttons (this is just to not dirty the phone) then with electrical tape, I left the power button and the vol down button pressed) this for around 7 hours my plan was leaving it like that for a full day, but around 6 hours I thought I heard a vibration from the phone, so I kept it with me, then after a while I thought it happened again, but I also had my own phone with me so I thought it was that and some other things distracted me so Im guessing I missed a few, but after that I started to take time from every vibration and yeah, around every 8 - 10 minutes the phone vibrated
I decided to connect the phone (I hadnt before because it would just slowdown the battery draining process) and the phone conected to the pc, still bricked, but it was a lot better, I quickly installed the filter, wich I dont quite remeber, but it wasnt easy, I had some hickups, cmd bluescreened my PC when using Bypass like 6 times, so I switched to powershell and that worked (to do that you need to press shift+right click and open powershell here, then run "python main.py") that worked, but I did not flash using SP flash tool.
I was trying to avoid turning on the phone for fear it would go back to the previus state, but after a while pluged on the PC it showed the no battery logo so I tried to tun it on and it was bootlooped, I was able to go to recovery and fastboot (not normally, I pressed the keys, the phone try to go into those menus, it showed no battery, and in the next cycle after splash logo no matter what you did it sent you to the previus key combo menu) I tried leaving it charging on fastboot, but that did not work, I tried flahing a rom from recovery (wich said I had 47% battery) and it successfully did but when trying to reboot to system it again showed no battery logo. so I put it on fastboot and tried flashing MIUI with Miflsh, did not work but it told me the ROM was bad (same one I had use before) I made sure to extract it again and again nothing, I assume it was the antirollback, so I downloaded the next one on line 12.5.6.0 (I was on 12.5.4.0) and that finally worked (Miflash actually gave me lots of errors but you can google them and most of them have easy fixes, like creating a log folder, etc)
that was yesterday, after it worked it showed me the phone had around 60% batterywich lasted around 30 minutes to 40%, then it took 10 minutes to spend the next 20% (it told me that) and then it drained 1% every second (Im not exagerating I thought I had fried my battery with all that power button pressing) but I had hopes of it just being a configuration issue of the phone not knowing how much battery it had so I just left it power of and pluged it then so the phone knew what was his zero, now the phone as been on 100% for like 2 hours (sharing internet), so yeah, I think the battery has some issues but its better than nothing so Im happy with that.
that is my whole experience, I hope it helps you, see if you manage to get any response from the phone and if you do you can try contact me for help in any point along the way.
Update, it just got to 99% after 2 hours 10 minutes aprox IDK, I would need to test more to be sure
