GT-I9300 (S3 clone) MTK6575 SMDK4x12 - Phone Dialer error

Problem: Unable to make phone calls, send messages etc.
The Phone dialer, Contact & Messaging apps gives a error msg
"The system is not authorized will automatically shut down"
Once I click YES, the apps closes. (ScreenShort "dialer error"attached)
Same thing happens when I open Contact apps. (ScreenShort "contact error" attached) once I click YES, apps goes but keypad remains at its place.
I installed "Go Contacts EX" from play store, this allowed me to open contacts, and I'm able to make a call to any of them. Call connects, but same error msg displayed, and I cannot do anything else than clicking the YES. (ScreenShort "dialer error 2" attached)

The phone has ROOT access.
Any expert out there who can help resolving the issue....

its clone s3 so if yu flash a new rom u will lose yor imei but there is a way to get it back. there is a turkish guy, he figured out this problem.. u can ask to uncle google "arizandroid"... i think the best way the solve this problem is flashing a new rom..

have the similar phone where the SIM location is at bottom rathen than in between the battery & camera.
I cannot install Whatsapp because the phone model is "I9300" which Whatsapp interpret as tablet and refuse to install
So I ask the shop keeper to root it for me. Did not notice if there is any IMEI before ROOT.
After Root, IMEI is lost. Some SIM is still working, some will get no permission or authorization and cannot make / recv calls.
After searching, find a tutorial to write IMEI to insert into. The site is in Chinese and is follows.

Goto post #2, will see the link for the little program which run in windows

anti-virus software may report this as trojan. use at your own risk.
basic requirement : phone is rooted (because need to replace the IMEI record)
1. after download this imei_mtk.exe, rename it to imei_mtk.rar
2. extract ONLY the 2 files : imei.exe and readme.txt
3. readme.txt should read as :
i. at dos command mode,
input imei.exe <15digit_IMEI_1> <15digit_IMEI_2>
and it will create a new file "MP0B_001_NEW"
ii. rename it to "MP0B_001"
iii. replace the same file in /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001
4. reboot the phone and you will get the IMEI
note : IMEI is a 15 digits number
The IMEI will be lost after factory reset. Have to do this again.
Suggest to save the "MP0B_001" for future use.

[Q] Can't Establish A Connection SOLVED !!

Goodevening . I factory reset the phone (HTC Desire S ) It is runnin g 4.0.4 and sense 3.6 and it is rooted HTC DEV unlocked . After that i can't log in my google account . it always say " couldn't establish a reliable connection to the server this could be a temporary problem or your android device may not be provisioned for data services "can someone know how to fix this error ? I upgrade my phone via RUU from 2.3.5 GB sense 3.0 . Everything works fine . I can browse via web use my facebook .
i have tried factory reset, hard reset, restarted my htc desire many times .. i have tried even the youtube app method. nothing seems to work google app in the apps doesnt work too.. what should i do?? i cant use apps market.. i have tried everything.. please come up with a proper solution.. there're alot of people i know facing this mind sucking issue

i already do this dude . i already factory reset my phone 10x . and wipe cache wipe dalvik wipe and format . but still i experience the problem . hmm . this problem appears when i facatory reset my phone . after that i cant log in anymore on google . i try making new account . i try this [email protected] but it says that is unavailable username ..

Here's what you need to do.
Assuming that you have already rooted your device, use any file explorer app and go to 'etc' folder of your device. (I used Root Explorer and did this on my Samsung Galaxy Tab N8000).
In 'etc' folder, locate the file called hosts.
Touch/press and hold the icon of the file to get its context menu and open the file in text editor.
In the file, there will be one IP address to the localhost, i.e. 127.0.0.1. Leave this as it is.
There will be a second IP address which may vary depending upon your region or country. Put a # in front of it. (eg. #245.45.14.14). This will mark this entry as a comment and the device won't read it.
(I would suggest that you backup 'hosts' file before making any changes. In my case, a 'hosts.bak' file was automatically created when I saved the file after editing.)
Save the file and reboot your device.
This should resolve the issue.

I tried everything you did but I cannot edit the hosts file,I have rooted my phone (Samsung Galaxy S3), I am using supersu.

That's really strange. You should be able to edit the file as rooting process needs a reboot too. Well you can still try a workaround.
* Copy all the contents from the existing host file.
* Create a new file either on your smartphone or use a computer to do so. Make sure the name of the file is 'host' (without quotes) and file does not have any extension like .txt or .doc. If the file has any extension, remove it while rename the file.
* Now paste all the copied contents from the existing file to the new one and then make the changes as I mentioned in my answer.
* Save the file and replace it with the existing one.
Let me know if this helps.

Its great actually. Beautiful screen. Beautiful touch. Apps can b moved to sd utilizing the whole 16gb. Processor utilizes the whole spectrum upto 1.6gig. Wifi/battery gr8.

First of all thanx for all your efforts. I'm getting one delivered in a couple of days as well and am really confused about one thing. Does it or does it not have GPS? Some sites mention it in the specs, some don't. I even asked the saholic guy when I got the call to confirm my order, he said yes.
Then someone who got it recently said it does not! So what is the deal, is there an inbuilt GPS antenna? Or does it just make do with some kind of wifi/network assisted location approximation?
I also heard playstore does not recognize this tablet? Any other points we should be aware of?

playstore recognises the device just fine, but some games dont recognise the device but who cares, they run just fine... i've installed & played very hardcore games which i didnt expect to run....

nfs..... so & so..... total i got about 10 hi-end games (1gb+ each) tat ate the whole 16gb.... the only sad part bout the whole mi1010 experience is tat "i suck" in gaming but i lov to hav hi-end games installed, just incase

u need to follow this step by step guide EXACTLY as given
1. install & activate whatsapp on another rooted droid phone
2. install TITANIUM BACKUP on the same
3. thru titanium, backup whatsapp (incase it asks, choose app+data)
---> MUST UNINSTALL whatsapp from phone @this stage
4. copy the backed up (3 files) to mi-1010
5. install TITANIUM BACKUP in mi-1010
6. with titanium, RESTORE the backup up whatsapp (app+data) to mi-1010
---> enjoy whatsapp on mi-1010

TO Root the tab i did as directed but it didnt work for me ,super su app is asking "supersu needs to be updated" when i tap on continue it asks normal or TWRP/CWM , if i click normal it says intallation failed if i tap on TWRP/CWM it says to reboot when i reboot ,nothing happens ,please help

in tat case, obv the rooting didnt happen... did the rooting script go thru the entire process without any error? its an interactive script
since its a one time thing, i wud suggest u backup yr data, flash the stock rom given in one of my posts & do the rooting straightaway. then u restore data & all tat..... & dont b scared bout rooting, its mostly hype, nothing will go wrong on its own just because its rooted

no , after connecting tab when i click on root file a dos windows opens and ,it say "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect . Please see the application event log or use the command -line sxtrace.exe tool for more details .
If the id is 0 / root then continue , otherwise cntl +c to exit
Press any key to continue "
Do i have to install that adb.exe application in folder "sadhu.mi1010.may.2013" ?
Also in that firmware flash procedure ,when after switching off i press volume up and power off keys ,nothing happens

u r trying to install wrong driver for wrong hardware
if u need to connect it to pc to ROOT, u need to install pdanet
if u need to update FW, install the driver given in FW package

Complete noob at rooting, need help

Hey guys
I was fed up with my phone being extremely slow so I decided to root it (Sony Xperia Miro St23i.
I'm trying to delete the useless preinstalled programs but theres a million on it and so it will take ages.
Does anyone know an app (maybe?) that will auto delete the useless stuff in a safe way without turning it into a brick (just learned that term **** yeh!).
Also: I just wanna do 4 things a lot: use my gps program (daily!), call (daily!), send texts (daily!) and check emails.
Other than that I just wanna play games once in a while, and take some pictures. Any good tips to download? Not like unknown small apps u like but the main stuff I need to install now I rooted my phone (biggest reason I did it was so I could delete this preinstalled ****e tbh).
Please try and keep it in re-re language cause I'm a complete noob at rooting

I'm downloading the rom toolbox thing and gonna see what that does. One step at a time cause that link is full of chinese for me hahaha

I was fed up with my phone being extremely slow so I decided to root it (Sony Xperia Miro St23i.
I'm trying to delete the useless preinstalled programs but theres a million on it and so it will take ages.
Does anyone know an app (maybe?) that will auto delete the useless stuff in a safe way without turning it into a brick (just learned that term **** yeh!).
Also: I just wanna do 4 things a lot: use my gps program (daily!), call (daily!), send texts (daily!) and check emails.
Other than that I just wanna play games once in a while, and take some pictures. Any good tips to download? Not like unknown small apps u like but the main stuff I need to install now I rooted my phone (biggest reason I did it was so I could delete this preinstalled ****e tbh).
Please try and keep it in re-re language cause I'm a complete noob at rooting

1)download adb drivers if u have skip this

2)download root with restore bin4ry https://www.dropbox.com/sh/r0074hopvx9809y/t6xmITxMp2/Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v33 (1).zip
3)now connect your phone to pc with
enabled usb debugging
4)now extract and manually install adb
drivers via device manager
5) now extract root with restore bin4ry and
click on run me.bat
6)now press 0(zero) and press enter if all
went good u will get your phone rooted after
it reboots automatically.

I deleted Very important file from my files and deleted by mistake from the trash ..
so it's Permenantly deleted
it was Excel Sheet File
and Not Backed my phone from Long time
please is there any way to recover this File , it's very Important file for me ..

2. Are you rooted.

if it was recent there is a chance. Limit ur phone usage and do not download anything if you want s chance.

Well, with unrooted it’s much much harder. You can try the “dumpster” app. There is more advise form the video above. Try it all, and if it doesn’t help, idk.
