deleted my recoveryI have a croma crxt 1125 tablet, I was trying to flash a new recovery and accidently I uninstalled the stock one and now I have no recovery probably. I tried many apps but nothing happens. When trying to boot into recovery there is just the croma logo and the device shuts and reboots normally.
I tried aio flasher. It just sticks at flashing symbol. I did not boot into fast boot mode. The device is not booting in fast boot mode. When trying a dB commands
It just reboots into normal mode. I don't know what is happening.
Even in cmd it recognizes the device in adb but shows waiting for device in fast boot commands. How shall I boot my device into fast boot mode and how to flash a custom recovery. Please help anybody.

Download recovery image for your device and install Flashify app from playstore. You can install the recovery file from the flashify app.
Tried it! It says file flashed and asks me to reboot into recovery but nothing happens and same results. Maybe flashify requires recovery to flash images.

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you know a fix for this on my WIFI only xoom
Using the guide from here about Wifi Unlocking and rooting Ive unlocked the bootloader on my Xoom. Ive flashed Clockwork and am up to the part where I have to boot into clockwork recovery to install the root tool, however there is no option to enter 'Android Recovery' when I push the Down key on the dual core boot screen, during the first 3 seconds of the first boot after flashing. Theres NVFlash, fastboot and another but no recovery.
I am able to get into recovery via the ADB REBOOT RECOVERY command however I dont get into Clockwork and am stuck on a screen with a green android logo in the center. Pushing any manner of buttons does nothing and the tab automatically resets after 2 or 3 mins in that mode. Has anyone else seen this and know of a fix?? Ive since learned that if you allow the tab to boot into honeycomb it installs the stock recovery and you have to start over by reflashing clockwork, as stated tho no Android Recovery option appears. Any ideas?
recovery is not installed properly.
put your recovery file in fastboot folder
rename it to recovery.img
in fastboot run: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
this recovery file is not zip file but .img file(rename it for ease of typing)
I've done it exactly like that, 3 times now. all the messages seem to indicate its flashed correctly. Heres what it says on the tab:
Flashing allowed for partition recovery
OneWire: Charger not connected
Battery Level 82%
Flashing Stormgr partition recovery Status:- done!
And i get the OKAY's in the terminal box as well. Still no Android recovery menu. I read in a dev post reguarding this same procedure a few other ppl had the same issue. I was hoping sum1 had a fix
hi,
i have installed a custom rom on my D850. The ROM is working properly but im not able to boot into TWRP. When i boot into recovery using adb or using the button combo, it shows the TWRP splash screen and gets stuck.
Im not able to reinstall the twrp image using flashify / twrp manager and other apps. im not even able to enter fastboot. When i type adb reboot fastboot it just reboots the device.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
So here is the thing, i flashed LineageOS and rooted my device. When i tried to uninstall a substratum theme and i rebooted, the phone is stuck in the boot screen. I can get into bootloader mode. When i try to get into Custom Recovery mode, the Google logo comes up, and again it is stuck in the boot screen. I just need to get into recovery mode somehow ,so i can restore using the backup i have. Help Me.
Which recovery were you using? If it's not booting at all, I'd flash TWRP to the recovery partition with whatever tool you use.
If using SDK tools, 'fastboot flash recovery [custom recovery image file]' will do it from the command line.

OK i got inside twrp using adb and then restored my device. Its working fine. The problem now is i cant boot into recovery mode via bootloader mode. If i click the recovery mode it boots into OS.
So now im little scared to flash again to Lineage OS using bootloader mode. So what should i do to solve this problem and get into recovery mode without using ADB.
I flashed TWRP on my tecno W3 using sp flash tool, after it went successfully, i powered my phone into recovery mode with the right combination of keys. But it wont boot into anything, but when i power it into normal mode, it goes successfully..and then i switch off and boot into recovery mode with the same combination of keys i used after flashing, it end up into stock recovery. It's like my phone is locked from booting into custom recoveries(even after unlocking the bootloader), and then it overwrites the custom recovery with stock after booting into normal mode. Is there any way i can get my phone to accept custom recoveries, and i have no root thats why im trying to flash a custom recovery first.
Also: I tried to use adb to boot into fastboot mode and boot into the same custom recovery i have by the command: fastboot boot <filename.img here>..but i didnt boot into anything, it just boot normally like i restarted my phone. I even tried to flash the img file in fastboot mode and then boot up with the fastboot command mentioned above, but it just boots into normal mode.

Did you install SU/Magisk after you flashed TWRP?This can usually prevent this issue.

No, just TWRP. It flashed successfully, but the phone won't boot to anything, and when i force it to boot into recovery mode after flashing a custom recovery, it doesn't do anything, it just stucks in the Hi logo with a red exclamation mark...and i usually have to press the volume + and power button to get to the menu, but the menu for the custom recovery i just flashed fails to pop up. After that, i boot into normal, and it overwrites the custom with stock recovery again (can tell from when i boot into recovery again after booting into normal by bringing up stock recovery)..
I used the recovery i ported myself using calvik image kitchen tool.
My phone does it too. The TWRP asks me if it has to be reinstalled, if default recovery is taking its place. Flash SU or magisk in your recovery immediately after TWRP.
hey,
so I guess I made a major mistake. I wanted to flash twrp recovery with this ramdisk.img , it all worked fine, I could flash it and then I entered the recovery mode via adb with the command adb reboot recovery. The recovery mode twrp logo popped up and all I can see is the name teamwin and the project version, which says 3.2.1-0 btw and the names of the developers nothing more, the screen is frozen and I can't do anything else.
I tried to reboot into fastboot and bootloader with adb but all I does is, that the screen turns off then on and then it says "your device is booting now…" and it leads me back to the teamwin logo and freez again.
I can't do a normal reboot and I can't flash another .img recovery..
I hope someone can help me please..
There must be a way to get out of this.

Were you on android 9 or 8, prior to flashing twrp?
Android 9.1, however I did this but I could get back to eRecovery after I pressed the volume up key and on/off key several times. I normally rebooted my phone and now I can use it again ?
But its still frustrating that it didn't work
